Company representatives entered my moving date in as a past date. Would have never shown up if, after waiting 4 hours for them to arrive, I finally called to find out where they were. Then they blamed the mistake on me, and took another 3 hours to get a team out to me. On a positive note, the guys that did show up were super nice.

Truly great experience i have never had a better moving experience in my life the representative on the was very informative and toke me through the process one step at a time, and then the movers themselves were just great they were professional, fast, safe, clean, and nice wrapping everything in the house making sure nothing was damaged I was truly impressed tge price was right as well and they were covid safe which was also important to me. They helped my dad load a pod with some very heavy equipment. What we thought would take at least 2 hours to complete, these ninjas (Carlos and Bruno) whipped it out in under an hour!! They paid attention to detail and cared for our stuff as if it was their own. Highly recommend!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS A SCAM!! My daughter booked this company to move her from San Diego to Chicago. Her moving estimate was based on an exact count of packed boxes and furniture as she was already 100% packed at the time of the estimate. When the movers showed up late, they wanted to charge her $1000 more. She refused and the movers drove away. When I called their office to inquire about what was going on, Jim hung up on me. Both Jim and Tricia/Patricia are very dishonest and have no integrity. Do Not Use this Company!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Beware of this company, they are unreliable and unprofessional. My husband contacted John on April 25 to schedule a move for June 5 at 9am. We reserved via text message and John confirmed the meet time at 7:30am on June 5. All communication was done through text where we received the quote for two hours. We thought we were all set. On June 4, my husband received a call that the movers were at our apartment. We told John that it was not the correct day, however he tried to say we were wrong. We sent a screenshot of the previous messages and he confirmed that was his mistake. At that time we again confirmed that he in fact would have his team meet us the following day, the date we have scheduled a month prior. He requested if we could move earlier, at 7:30am and we agreed. In addition, we confirmed the price. John claimed that he had quoted us a minimum of 3 hour charge, but again that was not true. We sent him the screen shot where he quoted us 2 hour minimum of service, so he once again had to accept his own terms. The night of June 4, almost at 11pm we received a call from John that he was short a worker and was requesting if we could meet at 8:30-9am instead. Again, my husband and I agreed. On June 5, we waited a bit after 9am and began calling John and texting. We did not hear anything at ALL!! I tried calling from my fathers cell and all I got was a text message saying he would "call us back". After I replied letting him know of the situation, again RADIO SILENCE. We did not get any sort of call/text/communication from John letting us know that either the movers would be late or not be able to make it. That is extremely unprofessional, poor customer service, and just plain rude. We had been very understanding and accommodating to work with John but he did not even have the decency to call us and communicate regarding the situation. John at first seems very friendly and responsive, but in actuality his is incompetent of running the business successfully. The least we would have appreciated was communication.

UF Mover Guys LLC
DO NOT USE UF MOVER GUYS
BASIC TL;DR: If you would be concerned about a knife sticking straight up in a box that someone you care about could easily stab themselves on you SHOULD NOT hire UF mover guys. If you care about your stuff, have any antiques/family heirlooms, or own any art DO NOT hire UF Mover Guys. I have tried to reach someone from UF Mover Guys over phone for 12 days, with no return calls. I called before posting this Wednesday, Thursday and twice Friday with no return calls. Unfortunately, the company has left a sour taste in my mouth. I paid for a full service pack and move, meaning the movers pack EVERYTHING and move it all to the new home. I posted on Facebook originally asking for movers to be suggested, and UF Mover Guys were suggested over and over. So, I went with it. I now know I made the wrong choice. I do not know if the service has changed over time, or if it is due to some other factor. I got an email early this week saying the only damage they will allow us to have covered will be two frames (from degrees) and that they were mailing a check minus $100 of the repair costs. They have not responded to any requests for communication since. I would like to start by saying Alex was amazing and professional. I think there was likely a good faith effort to move and pack things appropriately. Things get broken when people move. That is why, at least I, make sure I am hiring mover with insurance to cover damages. I have reached out by phone multiple times requesting to be contacted by someone who can assist. Everyone who has answered the phone has been kind and professional – but also unable to assist. Most of the time I reach the answering services who says they will forward my message. The other times I have reached other staff who say they will contact a manager to reach out to me. During my move multiple items got damaged. At the time I wasn’t super worried, things happen…. This is why I hired licensed and insured movers… right????? Guess not. They refused to cover most of the damage. Actually, only offering to cover the cost of two degree frames, minus the $100 deductible you must pay out of pocket. When moving our art, they stacked multiple pieces and wrapped them in a blanket. They did not put anything between the pieces of art. This may have been because they were running low on blankets. At this point I would like to remind you – we paid for a full-service move including “all materials to pack”. My expectation would be that they would use what any mover I have ever had used… artwork boxes. The way they packed and moved caused ALL of the art they moved to have damaged frames. Every single piece of art I own now has scratches or dings (excluding two pieces that were still in the protective wrapping from the framing store). We were told we will not be compensated in any way this damage (other than the two frames of the eight plus pieces). Next, lets move on to electronics. TVs and computer monitors. There are of course special boxes for moving flat screen TVs and other screens. None were used in our move. Instead, monitors were moved with a blanket slung over them not secured in any way. We have not turned them all on yet, as we haven’t unpacked all the power cords yet, but the one I did turn on… part of the screen is now dead. UF Mover Guys were informed – we were told we will not be compensated in any way for this damage. The next thing we should address is furniture and glass items. My dresser had bottles of perfume on top. The movers “scoop[ed] everything into the drawer” per UF Mover Guys. When I paid for a full pack and move I expected our dresser would be emptied and packed in to boxes, and that the breakable things would be wrapped in some way. Instead, I found a dresser with random bottles of perfume and other things shoved in to all the drawers, with three of the six drawers with liquids and broken glass in them. We were told we will not be compensated in any way for this damage. Do you care about your work supplies? Have a stamp collection you keep in a drawer? Have fun mementos on your desk? How about glass bottles in your desk drawers of ink? I hope not… because UF Mover Guys won’t unpack those drawers either. Instead, they will move them full of fragile things completely unprotected. We were told we will not be compensated in any way for related damage. Do you think dishes and other ceramic things should be wrapped up when they are moved? If so you might not want to hire UF Mover Guys. My ceramic set was packed in a box loose with metal pans and a lid rack. We were told we will not be compensated in any way for this damage. Do you have family members who could be hurt by a sharp knife? Who might not expect a sharp knife to be point up in a box? I wouldn’t have expected it. UF Mover Guys packed a SHARP knife standing point up in our box. I am only glad I found the box, not my grandma when she was helping up-pack, someone could have been seriously injured. Did UF Mover Guys seem to care or even comment on this when I emailed them about this? NO. We were told we will not be compensated in any way for damaged caused by the knifes to our other things. Those sharp knifes I found sticking up, were sitting under non-stick cookware, the cookware was turned down with the knife tips pointing up in to the pans. Which as everyone know, scratched non-stick pans can cause cancer if cooked in, it is unsafe to use once damaged. Also a steak knife was sticking up in to one of my nice Zwilling ceramic pans. The knife chipped it. We were told we will not be compensated in any way for this damage. I have a family heirloom wood table. My table was loaded in the truck with zero protection. As they brought it out of the house both me and my partner commented on how important the table was to both me and my family. The table was loaded without any protection and put on its side. The movers continued to push it against the floor of the truck as I watched and once again asked them to please be careful. Once we got to the house the movers had trouble getting the table through the door repeatedly scraping it on the door frame as I once again asked them to please be careful with it. I even commented on the current damage to the table of a drink ring from a cup I made when I was a child that my family has never forgiven. We were told we will not be compensated in any way for this damage. These are the large things that were damaged that we contacted UF Mover Guys about. We did not ask for any compensation for broken plates, chipped bowls, or any of the small damages we found. I emailed about my art, my computer, my dresser, my nice pans and most importantly my table. A small other complaint is that the team was late by over an hour, even thought we were the first move of the day. Luckily Alex communicated this with us the day of letting us know they would be late as the team called out. Unfortunately as UF Mover Guys said we can provide compensation for the picture frames only, offering compensation for only two of the frames. I would not suggest anyone use this business. P.S. “Two Gainesville men were cited by the state for operating moving businesses without proper licensing, according to the office of Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Charles H. Bronson. Charged with operating an unregistered moving company were Jordan Seth Speisman, 28, owner of UF Mover Guys in Gainesville” per The Gainesville Sun the local newspaper. I honestly wonder if our move was done with the proper licensing now… or if that is part of the reason they are refusing to let us put in more claims against the insurance policy we paid for with our move.

Having the WORST experience of my life with the staff who works here and the services it provides. Its simply HARASS people to escape from their flaws!!!! Its a TOTAL SCAM!! IT ROBS PEOPLE !!! I had a shipment with this company(Punit Manchada) from US to India (Kolkata as destination) payments being already made in US. But my shipment was sent to Chennai airport without my consent or any prior knowledge. However when I took my concerns to two of their employees Punit Manchada(Texas) and Prashant Nair(in India), instead of correcting the fault of sending the shipment to Chennai , they are pushing me hard to make additional payment of Rs.17000 for the custom clearance and demurrage charges which SFL should take responsibility for. And funnily enough the owner of this company is also incapable to own its fault and resolve the matter. They have hired A.S. Moving services(3rd party vendor) to deliver my 7 packages from Chennai to Kolkata by road. And asking 3rd party to get the payment from the customer, i.e. Me. I mean what the hell is wrong with these people am completely not able to comprehend. If I refuse to pay, they are going to hold my shipment in Chennai. They are definitely involved in fraudulent transactions and should be reported immediately. I request everyone who has faced such horrible service, kindly report them in all forums as much as possible. I DO NOT recommend anyone to go with their services. Please.

It cost me $5000 to move a 2 bedroom house from California. They arrived 9 days after my move on date. More than half of my items destroyed. $6000 in damaged goods and they iffered me $500. Not to mention they double marked things raising my orice $500. Henry the sales rep told me that if I didnt take down the bad review I put up then I wouldbt get any settlement. In fact in order to get the settlement I had would have to write a five star review for them. Im taking the Paul Getty stance. Im not going to give in to their demands. I am excercising my right to freedom of speech in hopes of helping the anyone else that might consider this company

Avoid!!! Military move went wrong with HETCO!
The military provided this company; avoid at all cost!!! I am supposed to move in 1 and 1/2 week and hetco still has not contracted a packing and moving service. I’ve been calling the past three weeks and they are so relaxed and not concerned about our move. They offer that they can just move the date. This is NOT the company you want to work with, you will waste so much time and stress trying to deal with them. Please do yourself a favor and ask for someone else if you get Hetco!!!!!

The undoubted best
I researched several companies and I chose Four paws moving due to good prices and ratings. I set up the moving date with their manager and he was very good at explaining things and replying to my emails. I also needed a certificate of insurance from the movers to provide my building management and he did all of it in time. On moving day I received a call from the foreman 40 minutes in advance as promised. He arrived with another mover and together they proceeded to wrap my furniture and load it in the truck. Once we got to my new place they proceeded with the unloading. Going up the stairs did not seem to be a problem at all! They maintain an upbeat attitude at all times making sure every was where I wanted to be. There was awesome communication and it was an excellent experience! I will definitely recommend them to anyone looking for movers to move anywhere within America.

They were punctual, efficient and very friendly. The movers amazed me with their skills and strength. Their packing abilities were out of this world. They delivered everything within a given time. The truck showed up at my new house. I was constantly looking for flaws but unfortunately I couldn’t find any. Even their final bill was the same as the original estimate.

We chose Four Paws Moving for our move after lots of research and correspondence with other movers. This company provided a very reasonable rate, detailed quote and prompt replies to my inquiries. On the day of the move, which was pouring rain, they were punctual, professional, and efficient; carefully wrapped our furniture and helped us pack up the remaining 10% of our belongings. We moved from a 2nd floor apartment with an elevator to a 2nd story condo with only stairs, and there was no extra charge for the move. We would highly recommend them and use them for any future moves.
