Great American Movers
not satisfied
The movers who came were professional, but a little unprepared. They had a hard time figuring out how to put furniture pieces together. They were suppose to also unpack the boxes but did not and told me to call when I unpacked everything and wanted the boxes picked up to be discarded. 3 weeks later and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone to pick up all these boxes. I have left messages with my contact info and have not heard back. If they are suppose to unpack, insist that they do so otherwise you will be responsible for discarding the boxes.

unprofessional
Save yourself time and stress by getting some other movers. This company seems too busy for you, I tried calling the agent many times but can never reached her and she does not return your calls. I believed this is a military mover company so they do not have time for civilian moves. I called the office and have some questions to ask but they seem like I was bothering them.

worst experience
This was THE worst experience I have had with a moving company. Many of my things arrived broken and packed wrong. The packers were slow and missed an entire 2 rooms and left artwork on the walls. It was so much stuff left undone that on the actual moving day our wonderful driver had to call them back. The packers also mislabeled boxes which caused the movers to put the mislabeled boxes in the wrong rooms. I had to file a claim to get things I have had for YEARS replaced. These items have been packed and moved at least 4 times as we are a military family. I have never had one broken item during these moves. The packers were downright horrible.

Gentle Movers Boston
poor service
I recommended Gentle Movers from a pretty positive experience from last year. This year however they made my moving experience and the people I recommended them to a horrible experience. On top of taking A LOT of breaks which they charged for, they did not bring their own tools, they would carry very little at a time carried one broom, they gave up on getting our couch up the stairs which we later got up the stairs ourselves. Then at the end, they could not figure out how to operate their truck so they charged us for the time it took them to figure out how to close it. They destroyed the walls in our stairway as well as multiple items WHICH THEY DO NOT REIMBURSE FOR even though its stated in the contract that they would. The management was extremely rude when we tried to communicate with them everything that had gone wrong.

Ferguson Transfer & Storage
Great moving experience
Great moving company They took the time to carefully wrap all of my items to ensure that they were not damaged when in storage a year ago. I recently had a military move from one side of town to another. I was left without a bed for three nights due to military movers picking up all items on a Thursday and not delivering until Monday. So after sleeping on the floor for 4 days due to military mover delays, the military movers would not assemble the king bed put into storage by Ferguson the previous year. So, I called Ferguson and the following day they assembled my bed and other items left unassembled by military movers. for a very small fee.

Excellent Work
Our packers and movers were great their efforts to take great care of our stuff made this a seamless move. Its the second time we have used Fairfax Transfer and Storage to move, and if we ever move again, they will be our first and only choice. Cannot say enough good things about their service

very hard until the job was done
Family Movers have moved 2 very large storage units filled to the top, to my new home. I cannot congratulate these movers for a big job well done more than that. The guys were fabulous, friendly, efficient, kind, helpful and worked very hard until the job was done. Marcus and Ray were fabulous, very good, and careful workers They even fixed a problem from the last movers I had. The whole team of Family Movers from management to the movers themselves Is very professional and very nice. I have no hesitation in recommending Family Movers Express for your next move.

Father & Son Moving & Storage
very nice and very efficient
We have done 3 moves now with Father and Son. They are reliable, reasonably priced and professional. They were able to provide the certificate of insurance that the HOA rules required for the condo move. The movers were very nice and very efficient. For one move, we had an extremely tight timetable closing escrow in 14 days during a time when all movers seemed to be booked for weeks. Michael was able to work some magic and find us a crew for a few hours to get the things that we needed to move out of the unit to clear it for the sale. They even helped us drop off the items to more than one location. They will definitely continue to be our first call whenever we need to have things moved.

Very professional, efficient, and just all around awesome service. They were able to complete my move with just a days notice. Pricing was very affordable compared to other local moving companies. On top of my move they assembled my furniture for a small additional cost. I had recommend their services to anyone. Thanks again guys

super friendly and very professional
I moved from a 2500 square foot home to a 1300 square foot home with an unfinished basement and these guys made it as easy as possible. I moved back in August of 2014 and have been meaning to write a review and have been putting it off. I just recommended these guys to a couple of friends and saw the Yelp reviews and it reminded me my promise to these guys to write a review.

Used these guys for my recent move from East Harlem to Midtown East and they were great I had 3 guys come and we were able to get everything in my new place in under 2 hours, which was great considering I originally lived in a fourth floor walkup. Miguel is super friendly and reliable, as were the other guys who helped. I liked these guys so much even my roommate used them when she moved in I recommend this company to all my friends and am so happy I was able to find them.

we sincerely cannot recommend
Horrible I bought a couch from Sams.com that was supposed to be delivered by September 22. Through tracking I could see that the couch was sitting at Fresno Moving and Storage. I called them the morning of the 22nd to find out the time in which they were bringing it. Susanna Told me she had no idea where I came up with the 22nd as the delivery date. I explained that is what my order conformation said and that is what the tracking number said. She was rude and unhelpful. She told me that they only deliver to my area foothills about 50 mins from Fresno once a month no matter what. They will not be coming my direction until Oct 15th, that is almost 1 month late! Meanwhile we have sold our old couch and have a empty living room. Since the delivery company that sams.com has hired as a subcontracting delivery company would not deliver, I now have to go pick the couch up myself. Completely ridiculous when I paid for white glove delivery. Never again would I ever chose to use Fresno Moving and Storage.

Last month my family and I set up to have four links move a two bedrooms worth of furniture and 20 boxes. While dealing with them was easy and made us hopeful. They sold the contract to another moving company that charged fee after fee. Next time I need to move anything, I will just get it done myself.

Stay away from this company. Company is unprofessional and does not stand behind quoted amount. Upon delivery, there was two extra chairs that belonged to another customer. I did not accept them, but why were those pieces included with my inventory Not only that, but about a week after I gave them my credit card information, my card was comprised and used at multiple food and entertainment spots within a 5 mile radius of their office through third party apps. Does not take a detective to figure out who used my credit card information. When I brought this to their attention they did not reassure me that they would investigate the matter. When I tried reaching the rep who quoted me and took my credit card information I was never able to reach him, even after asking to be transferred to his line on multiple days and times. Again, stay away

Fast Action Moving And Storage
horrible experience
Most Horrible moving experience of my life These people are crooks. It took them 15 hours to move us out of our 2bedroom apartment because the movers did everything possible not to work. Every five minutes they were taking coffee breaks, breaks to smoke, make calls, go to the bathroom. We hired movers but ended up doing all the moving ourselves. My 60 year old mother was carrying heavier boxes They had ridiculous hidden fees that are only disclosed when they arrive at your door, and half of our items are broken or damaged or did not even show up and they refuse to refund us any of our money. The owner of the company is rude and has horrible customer service skills. Stay away from these crooks. Use a reputable company and save yourself the hassle.

Fantastic service from start to finish We moved between 1bedroom apartments in Manhattan in mid June 2021. Brad was very responsive and helpful during the planning phase. The day of the move went smoothly, as Charlie and his colleagues packed up our entire apartment in about 4.5 hours full service packing, and then unloaded in about 2.5 hours. The guys were very accommodating when it turned out that we could only reserve our building freight elevator for a limited timeframe. After a week of unpacking boxes at our new place, my wife and I were amazed to see that not a single item was damaged or missing. There were no issues with payment, and the final bill was exactly as quoted in the flat rate. We are very satisfied customers

Moved locally from West LA to Mar Vista and Excalibur Van Lines was perfect. They gave me clear expectations for the day of the move. They were timely and worked hard. Guido, Julio, and Oscar V were courteous and took great care of our belongings. When our couch would not fit through the new door, these three put it together in our garage so I could photograph it, then wrapped it up so it would not get damaged. (110 per hour for three workers and no fee for the truck is a great deal Max and his crew showed up on time, worked quickly and carefully, and communicated clearly every step of the way. They were kind, professional and friendly, and they made an intricate job flow seamlessly. What could have been a stressful, expensive move ended up being a total breeze and super economical. Would DEFINITELY recommend working with them.
