Look elsewhere. Avoid the aggravation of them dragging out claims and not fixing damages, addressing lost parts, or taking responsibility for lost goods. Hopkins stored and delivered our goods. Upon receipt, many items were damaged, had missing parts, or were missing. We followed the claim procedure per our relocation package, but Hopkins would not do anything. The repair person that was sent 5 MONTHS after our move fixed one gouge in my table, and took pictures of other damages. Re: furniture damage he couldn’t fix, he told me to pass on a repair persons name if I had a preferred place and left me with the impression that other items would be addressed in the near future. A month later I received a DENIAL of EVERYTHING including the furniture damages. They included comments such as “the wheel has a hole, but it’s still useable” and “Crew could not have known it should have been on the piece”. Really?? It’s normal for a shelf to be hanging? Half of my claim items were not even addressed! This is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE of what the repair person told me in person. This is a very shady and dishonest company. I do not recommend them.

I want to take this opportunity to review this company that shipped my car from Arlington Virginia to a small town in Sweden (Harnosand). It turned out to be a perfect delivery, through a drop-off I requested at a local Subaru dealer, and then how it felt when I drove it home. I will be the first to admit that I was not the easiest of customers, often questioning things that they must take for granted, but the proof of the pudding is that the staff, each in their your own way, participated in getting my car to me with zero damage, indeed exactly as it was turned over, and for that potential customers need to know that they created a very satisfied customer. I hope that they keep on doing what they are doing and please remain aware that customers appreciate the difference between service providers when they choose one. What may appear fungible to the average eye - a ship is a ship and the steps along the way are the same - but there is a marked difference between just doing routine work and doing a job that a service provider can be proud of. Need I say where West Coast Shipping stands along that spectrum? I think not.

This was the MOST SATISFACTORY move I have ever experienced! From when Gary Williams CAME OUT to give a bid (not over the phone) ; the packing by the staff, to the delivery by BOB BERGMAN! I was having to leave the house hold items in storage for about 2 months and needed them delivered in a specific time period and they arranged it perfectly. I also had many valuable art pieces and they arrived in perfect condition. The only small thing broken was something I packed! I cannot give enough kudos to this group. Thank you very much.

Moving has never been easy for me. But, it was until last week. I had a new experience while moving with Warners van lines last week. It was a perfect teamwork. They did all the necessary things to manage my goods and deliver to the new house I bought at Concord, NH. Their logistics and preparationwere up to date. Without those it could not have been a nicer one. I received all my stuffs unbroken. Truly great experience.

I truly cannot recommend this company less. Everything was fine with pickup and storage of my stuff - the trouble started when I called to schedule my delivery. The first time I called, two weeks before I moved into my new apartment, I was told I should wait until moving day since the shipment might come early. I scheduled it a week later and was told it would take 2-3 weeks. As weeks went by and I called to check on the shipment, I was either rudely pushed off or given excuses. I was constantly told that it would be on a truck "soon" or "next week". I had to try contacting International Van Lines to have them call and get more information, which worked only occasionally. An already stressful situation was made worse having to deal with the people at Velocity. After sailing past the agreed-upon delivery date, the shipment eventually made it upon a truck. When the latest ETA passed again, I was told (only then!) that the truck had apparently broken down and been fixed. A few days later, it had allegedly broken down again. The delivery was so late that I was compensated the entire remaining balance. Finally my stuff did arrive... moldy. Furniture, clothes, and sentimental, irreplaceable items were covered in mold. I spent a week dousing everything in bleach and vinegar but not everything was salvageable. TL;DR If you want your stuff to show up on time and clean, look elsewhere.

Our move with Thrifty was seamless (and how many times can you actually say that about moving?). Scheduling was easy and all details & costs were explained clearly. Our moving crew was great... on time, efficient, respectful, and very friendly. They came fully prepared with moving pads & wrap for our furniture and the best part, wardrobe boxes for our clothes. We really appreciated their help and them going above and beyond to help us figure out spacing and furniture size/door way issues. We will definitely recommend them in the future!

Shortly after, I received an extremely competitive pricing quote which I accepted. Highly recommend this company for the level of professionalism and patience they have with every single caller, and eventual customer. Lastly, my driver was wondeful as well. He called a few days prior, a few hours prior, and eventually 30mins before meeting me. Thank you T&C!!!

I have never moved long-distance. So, a lot of reviews gave mixed feelings about the whole thing. But as far as the experience, negative ones are just "those" type of people. Movers are people too, get a life! As far as my crew - especially attentive, very friendly and supportive with the whole thing. Packed up some fragile items that I had no wish or time to take care of on my way to new place in Dyker Heights. No smoking breaks or sitting around? Check. Spare boxes? Check. Getting the truck to the destination earlier than me? Somehow check. The price was higher than originally quoted, but I was prepared for some extra charges - doing my homework with the papers did the thing. Great experience overall! Would certainly use again. I used this company to move from one house to another. They were great. Showed up on time. My crew included Ike, Oseas, Carlos, and Riley. They were great. After I showed them what needed to be moved they got to it and executed my plan perfectly. Nothing broken or scratched, everything placed where I asked it to be. Professional in their name is the only thing about them. I sent in an e-mail request, received a conformation number. I attempted to confirm my appointment time. When the moving team did not show I began calling. The first person I communicated with via the phone english was not their first language. When I did receive a call from someone whose english was a little better I was told that "they had trouble getting their teams out" I asked what time would they be able to assist me the following day to which I was told 6:00pm. I agreed and expected a team to arrive at 6. I called at 4:30 pm just to make sure and got a voice mail but no response. At 6:00 PM when I called I finally spoke to someone again whose english was not their primary language sound surprised that I had a move scheduled and would call me back. I waited 45 mins and still no communication. I began calling and leaving messages and finally someone responded to me at 7:10 PM. By this time I had arranged for my own moving equipment and assistance. Do not engage these people, do not call them, do not buy their Groupon (I did and will be demanding a refund) they are not competent and based on the two reviews posted I believe the one date 4/27/2017 before I believe the one dated 6/29/2017 especially since I was to be moved on 6/30/2017.
