The movers were great. They were polite and worked quickly and efficiently. Having said that, the experience was terrible. 1) They showed up 1 hr late even though I asked to be the first move of the day to ensure that they arrived on time. 2) They charged by the hour, but they rounded up 3.5 hrs up to 4 hrs. 3) I specifically asked about hidden charges because moving companies are notorious for them, and the lady on the phone told me that 1 flight of stairs was included, but then I got charged $30 for a "stairs fee". 4) They were supposed to have tools and blankets, but they had no tools and maybe 3 blankets. I got sucked in by a low hourly rate, but with the rounding up and the $30 fee, I wish I ended up going with a more reputable company for a higher price.

The muscle behind the move...Rashad and Adrain...were very pleasant young men and very hard working. They took great care to protect doorways, walls, and all other household objects as they prepared to move furniture and items from the home. Their efficiency made a difference as well. The move was from a home to the 3rd floor of an Assisted Living facility, with long hallways and only a shared elevator available to traverse the levels. They tackled it with good humor and patience throughout the process. Rashad, Adrian and your whole team, have our gratitude and highest recommendation. We would definitely use them again and suggest E.R.S. to anyone looking for a great moving experinece. P.S. Rashad and Adrian deserve massages and a chiropractor adjustment. ;-)

Bad move made right: Without going into too much detail we had a bad move. Every company has a bad day, some times people are sick or their are technical difficulties. Express movers worked with us after the move to make sure everything was made right. They even sent us an apology letter. There is no way to predict when things will go wrong, but as a moving company they did everything in their power to make it right. I will be using them again in the future.

We used them to pack our 5 PODS full of everything from the house, everything was fast, efficient and best of all..... When we had the PODS delivered 2 mths later to move into our new home, nothing was broke. They came back to our new home and unpacked the 5 PODS up 2 sets of stairs and never complained. I would recommend them for move.

Our Eastern Moving and Storage team of four movers, led by Tim Mabe, was fabulous beyond words. In addition to being incredibly professional and very nice, they arrived on time, jumped right in and got to work, handled everything with great care and did a fantastic job. When it came to unloading, they had a very organized system, and they put all of the furniture in its designated place, reassembled pieces that were disassembled for transport, and could not have been more courteous and professional. In addition to all of the moving related excellence, we were able to request a fully vaccinated team, who practiced very safe protocols during the move. Tim was amazing, and his crew was just great too. Would hire them again in a hot minute.

I have nothing but praise for this company I moved from Oahu to Hilo. The crew that packed my stuff worked fast & was very respectful. Mario the supervisor was very professional. Marco always answered my calls when I called him. The crew in Hilo was excellent as well. There were just 2 of them & they worked hard. They let me tell them exactly where I wanted my stuff to go. My experience with Express Movers made my move less stressful

This is a bait and switch operation. We were told they had availability for a large move from Long Beach to Buffalo on a certain date for $5200. My husband went through all of the details of the move, down to fuel charges and tolls before we received this quote. When we called to confirm, they no longer had availability on that date, but were available the next day. All of a sudden the price went up to $8500 - for the exact same move. We started out speaking with a very nice woman, Angie, (bait) then ended up with a pushy man, Jerry. Buyer beware! Luckily we dodged this bullet. Follow-up: After turning down the $8500 quote, Angie contacted us and advised they had adjusted the quote down to $7200 (still $2000 above the original quote). No thank you.

First off the scheduling service in the office was amazing! i told them a date that i needed to be moved by and the accommodated as much as they possibly could! Movers arrived on the day of the move prompt and ready to go. We have very large heavy glass tables and they moved them with such ease a gentleness. Wrapped all our furniture in blankets and secured all boxes and bins! Jose and James made our moving day a walk in the park! i would definitely use this company again in a heart beat! Also i was quotes a 5 hr move and the guys got it done in 2.5 hrs! Such a speedy and relaxing process! FOR SOME REASON MY ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS PUT AS NOT RECOMMENDED. !

He and his crew were pleasant, professional, arrived on time at both locations and did a superb job of moving a 40 year collection of stuff. They treated our belongings like they were their own and never stopped smiling. And boy, do they hustle! I recommend them 100%.

Corrigan Moving Systems

I hired Corrigan a couple of months ago to move me from one apartment to another & they were fantastic. I got quotes from a couple other companies but when I contacted Corrigan to get one they actually came to my home to inventory what I had so that my quote would be accurate while the others were essentially guesstimates. The gentleman who came to do the inventory was really friendly & professional & after a chat & a walk-through he provided my estimate & a lot of information & he answered all of my questions. In the end Corrigan was about $50 higher than the other places I spoke with but they offered insurance, 3 movers instead of 2, a small discount through my work & because of that relationship I also got a couple things for free which was really nice since I was on a tight budget. After comparing my bids & doing some extensive research about customer service related to issues after the move (in case anything happened) I knew that Corrigan would be worth the extra $50. I had a feeling that in the end the other companies would cost more because they would likely take longer than they thought being that they quoted the same number of hours as Corrigan but with less movers. Once I decided to proceed I contacted Corrigan & they walked me through everything, they maintained contact with me via email & phone throughout the entire process, sent me moving tips & even called me during the move to make sure that everything was on schedule & going as planned. The 3 gentlemen who came to do the move were so nice, friendly & fun as well. They brought in wardrobe boxes right away & my aunt & I began cleaning out my closet while the guys started loading up the truck. Once we were done we just sipped coffee & booze until the guys were done. We went right to the new place & while my aunt & I were unloading the wardrobe boxes they started unpacking the truck. Being a bit OCD I had 95% of the boxes labeled which made their job & mine much easier. Once everything was unloaded they went through the whole place with me to see if I needed anything moved which I did & they tweaked everything I needed changed. My bid was for 4 hours & it took them EXACTLY 4 hours! The service was worth every penny especially since I was confident that if I found any issues, broken items, missing items, etc. that they would fix it right away. I will definitely use Corrigan again & I highly recommend you use them as well!!

I had them both pack and move me to my new home. They were fast and efficient. Jerry O, Worza Z and Eugene knew what they were doing. The young man that did the estimate was way off on the tim but Bob made everything all right in the of the move. Now does anyone need about 40 lbs. of packing paper. :-)
