Short version of this review is Circle Moving and Storage and Allied Van Lines are outstanding and highly recommended. Longer version is as follows. After reading all the negative reviews about moving companies, I was positive that by the end of this out-of-state move, half my furniture would be damaged and the other half missing. I am happy to say that neither happened. Vance (now retired I understand) responded to our call from Circle Moving and Storage and provided a very reasonable estimate for moving all of our furniture from the Long Beach house, storing it at their facility, and then moving it to Arizona. The movers showed up on time on the day they said they would. They laid down runners throughout the house so as not to damage the floors, and cleaned out the 3,500 square foot house in just under eight hours. The guys that showed up were also very professional, and there was no damage to any walls or flooring. A little over four months later, we called for Allied to come to our new house in Arizona. The driver (Ishmael) and two workers showed up on time to the minute and immediately went to work. Same with them; they prepared the house with cloth runners on the floor and were extremely careful. They had everything moved into the house and assembled in under five hours - amazing. The took away all the debris from unpacking, and left the house in great order. Again, they were extremely professional and very careful. No extra charges were asked of us as I have heard from other movers. We could not be happier with these companies. I would also like to thank Betty for her scheduling and great communication!

This company sold my items. They never called me, emailed me or attempted contact in any form. This is after spending countless hours trying to get in touch with them and stating for the hundredth time that I would pay the full balance upon receipt of my items, not via wire transfer without any knowledge of where my items are, their response was too bad and hung up the phone. Please do not make the same mistake I did. These people have taken everything I own. I have never in my life experienced a more dishonest company and group of people. Do NOT use this company for any reason.

Okay, so I selected Colonial because they gave me an great quote - 3 men, 1 truck 6 hours @ $1200. I have 3 kids and moved from a 1700 sq ft house full of items, they did not have to pack anything (we did most of this) and they did not have to move more then just a handful of boxes, (again we did this ourselves), they moved just large furnature, and mattresses, and they took a total of 10 hours to move and unpack everything, therefore I paid approx. 1k more than the quote. In the end it was still less than I expected to pay for moving that much stuff. they crew was nice, very professional and did not damage any of the stuff. just be ready to pay more than the original quote, and they add 4% for CC charges.

This company came highly recommended. The movers showed up earlier than expected. Rented the truck and 4 movers. Was amazed at how fast they had my 3 bedroom house loaded up. They wrapped all my furniture with blankets and tape. Moved to a 3 story home & these men had to carry boxes & furniture to all different levels including our rooftop. Impressed with them and recommend again. Will use them again in the future for our next move.

Our move went okay but definitely could have been much better. The packers and movers were very nice and knowledgeable and they arrived on time every day. They took extra care to be sure items were packed properly and, even though we had A LOT to move they worked hard to be sure that all of the boxes made it to our new location. I do have several negative comments. One is that we had two large area rugs that they did not touch. They were too large for us to move ourselves so we ended up having to dispose of them. Two is that there were two large closets that they did not pack and they did not even mention it to us until they were loading the last items on the truck. We were left to move them ourselves. Three is that as we unpack, we are finding more that is wrong. For example, many boxes were placed in the incorrect room even though they were labeled and rooms with which they were specifically asked to take special care are missing important items. The bottom line is I would recommend them for a small, uncomplicated move and even then, I would caution anyone who uses them to check and doublecheck the work that they have done to ensure that everything is packed and moved according to the agreed upon plan.

Doing business with Dan to schedule and estimate our loads each time has been accurate and his willingness to make sure our moving experience is a positive one. We contacted Brown Moving and Storage to give us a quote on a large, relatively complicated move. He and his crew worked hard, carefully and tirelessly. They went the extra mile and I doubt that you will find a more honorable, hard working company to do the job for you. On top of that you will find that his pricing is fair, honest and competitive. They worked hard and stayed late ensuring that the job was done. I would absolutely recommend Richard and his company to anyone who needs a moving company.

I used BMA movers. For 3 moves so far. Last one was from nj to fl. They came to my house for an estimate and the day of the move it came out to the same price. No surprises, no little hidden charges. My sales rep was ready to answer all my questions. I will continue using bma movers .

This was my first experience using a moving company and thankfully it went off without any problems what so ever. I called, researched and requested estimates from five or more companies. Best Way was much cheaper and unlike the others they included a one month storage in their price, this was great for my 2300 mile move (outside the Metropolitan area). Jerry my "personal relocation consultant" was very courteous and always a phone call away. The movers were very efficient, personable and patient with all my specific request. Last but not least not one item was damaged (after being in storage for almost a month), their packing standers are superb especially for precious items. Give them a try you will not be disappointed (just in case have some cold water on hand for those hard working guys)! :)

Excellent professional, quick & careful service! They moved my stuff and hung pictures and put together my bed frame for me in record time! So careful with all of my belongings. I would recommend them to anyone who is moving. On top of great service they were very polite, friendly and responsive. Pricing was clear upfront and fair. This experience was amazing, no hassle!
