So simple
Its simple nature made the difference. I was expecting something full of frustrations. However, that was not the case. The movers ensured my comfort from the very first minute of the relocation to the last one. I find that so encouraging.

GREAT choice if you want to be SCREWED!
Atlant Van Lines had their license to operate on pulled on Oct 3 2016 due to numerous customer complaints regarding fraud, extortion, and theft which were investigated and proven to valid. Factors that affect the rating for Atlant Van Lines, LLC include: Length of time business has been operating. 18 complaints filed against business 4 complaints filed against business that were not resolved. Business has failed to resolve underlying cause(s) of a pattern of complaints. http://www.bbb.org/south-east-florida/business-reviews/movers/atlant-van-lines-in-hollywood-fl-90303944 They are now DBA Sun City Movers: http://www.movers.com/moving-company/sun-city-movers-florida.html Today they (as Sun City) attempted to STEAL $2000 from my mothers bank account after the move was completed. Upon inspecting my mothers load: half of what was listed out on the bill of lading documented at the point of pickup expected to be in the storage was missing (4 tvs, xbox, large dresser, computers...) and alot of her things (antiques) were damaged. The owner of the storage facility that Atlant used to store my mothers things (until she could DIRECT DEPOSIT an EXTRA $2k into their account) told us that the movers who showed up to unload her possessions treated them 'very disrespectfully; tossing her boxes out of the truck AND man-handling her furniture'. Furthermore, he was told if he did not hear from anyone by the time the bill came due, to keep the contents of the storage and auction them off for payment. The light at the end of this tunnel, the owner showed us video storage drop off. CLEARLY, the mover was literally throwing my mothers belongings into the storage. Shoving an antique table (that has been in my moms family since the late 1800's) so hard into the side of the unit that you can see a piece of the table fly off and land outside the unit. The man picks it up and throws it to the back of the unit. The same table (due to the shove) had one of its legs ripped from the table so it was just hanging there. We were given a copy of the video. With that and the 2 recorded phone calls, multiple emails, voicemail's and texts...our primary mission in life...see that they are finally made to PAY THE PIPER. What did I find out today? Most of the positive reviews made about Atlant Van Lines and their other holding companies were made by people who provide written positive reviews as a service: $1 per review and $50 for a full page of BS!

My goal for using a mover was so I didn’t have to move or lift anything. Great Success!!! When I moved last I attempted it on my own. I broke a bunch of my china that I received as a wedding present. I just didn’t want to take the risk again and frankly I didn’t want the back aches that come when you wake up the following day. I wanted someone reputable to do the leg work. I looked online and found Public moving and storage. I really just called for a quote to compare self moves vs full service and was shocked with the price I got. The rep was sweet and walked me through the different plans and services. We figured what would be best for my move based on that conversation and although I was just calling for a quote I wound up booking my move and giving a deposit to secure the truck and crew.

thankfully i had public moving
I don't know where to begin but I will start with the fact that I was warned by friends and family that moving was extremely stressful. Now that I've completed my move from start to finish and have experienced it myself I can say it was the most stress I think I ever dealt with. Thankfully I came across Public. I called around to a lot of companies and I felt the most comfortable with Public moving from the get go.

mind blowing
All movers were very efficient. They were super-fast when it came to packing and loading all our valuables. Their packing skills were absolutely mind blowing. Our belongings were delivered a week after our pickup was made. Everything traveled very well and I couldn’t be happier with how easy these guys made my families move.

I just moved with the help of Great American Van Lines. They arrived on time and it was actually me who was not ready lol. I asked for some help packing and it was the best decision I could've made. Besides saving my sanity, they were really good. The crew barely took any breaks and my move took about 6 hours plus 2 for packing since I wasn’t ready on the day of pickup. The staff was good when calling in. All very were really accommodative when I called up with certain changes just a few days before. Awesome job people. The delivery arrived on time and in great condition! I will definitely use them again and will recommend to all friends and family.
