Global Movers
My kind of moving company
We were moving last month and Global movers handled our move. They sent over four movers who were all very capable. The foreman and his men efficiently packed all our belongings before loading them onto the van. The whole thing was completed very quickly. Even the delivery was made on time and nothing was damaged. I do have an issue with inefficient and incapable workers. But these movers were nothing like that. I will definitely hire them again.

The greatest!
I cannot give this business enough praise! The closing on my house was suddenly moved up so I only had about a week and a half notice before I had to move. Public moving was able to quickly put together a competitive estimate and was able to fit my move into their schedule.

Atlantic Union Van Lines
AVOID!!
Estimate: For the original estimate, we told them we had 2 bedrooms (1 bdrm plus a little in storage) and listed every item of furniture. The original quote seemed low when they arrived, so they looked it over and revised the quote to almost double the original. By the time the truck was packed, it was another $1000 over the second quote, and this was WITHOUT some of our furniture and boxes we had planned to move. Pickup: very professional, some minor rescheduling, seemed to package things well. Communication: we were absolutely unable to contact anyone from the company for about 20-30 phone calls to various numbers when we were trying to check the status of our move (over several days and times). When we left harsh voicemails, we finally got someone to help us. They kept referring to an online moving status function- when we tried it, it said to call customer service. No good. Communication was also poor about delivery, and it was rescheduled many times. Delivery: TERRIBLE. Two days before our things were scheduled to be delivered, our stuff was still in New Jersey in a warehouse. They said they would call when it got closer. We scheduled delivery, but they then delayed again for another day, then delayed that day for later in the afternoon, then were 2 hours late. In all, this was about a week after our originally scheduled delivery date. When the movers arrived, it was a subcontracted company called Uzbek Express. Their English was very limited. They moved everything to the garage, assembled and moved most of the big furniture and several boxes, but then stopped working and demanded that we sign the release paper. They became threatening until the paper was signed. They left, with about 80% of items left in the garage. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE ATLANTIC UNION OR UZBEK EXPRESS!! You will never be able to get a hold of them, they won't deliver when they agreed to, they subcontract to shady menacing characters, they charge over 2 times what they quote at first, things get broken, and they leave the job undone after being paid.

The crews were fantastic. Not only in service, but they were very affirmative in approach as well. I took the support of Great American Van Lines for moving to NJ from KY 3 weeks ago. I was in a big rush after the relocation and that is why could not thank them. They moved all my stuffs keeping zero dent or damage. Crews were very friendly with my family, especially with my kids. Thanks a lot Great American Van Lines. My relocation would not have been that smooth without your support

No wonder they are on top
I was a first time mover. So I decided to listen to my friends who kept telling me how good Divine moving and storage is. But this moving company turned out to be so busy at first. After calling them again and again, I finally got a slot with them. I certainly understand now why this company is so popular. They were literally on top of everything the whole time. They were punctual, efficient and reliable. The movers were well synchronized and they finished the job very quickly. I don’t mind waiting for them in the future if that means my move would go this easy!

Delta Relocation
Great company; awesome service
I am a repeat customer of delta relocation. Last time I used them to move in NJ and this time I used them to move out of NJ. As expected, they gave me the best deal and served me like a VIP customer. The sales guy at the office completed the paper work in no time and scheduled the move without asking for any advance. And their movers did the main job which was packing and moving all my belongings to SC. They were little slow to begin with but later made up for that and did manage to deliver before the schedule. As far as the damage is concern – there were no damages!!!

They did more than enough
Thanks a lot folks for the best move ever. Moving with delta relocation ensured the safety of my goods. They took the stress out of us and took the entire responsibility on their shoulders. The lead guy was well experienced; he saved us few bucks by providing some great tips. His team worked very hard and made sure everything was nicely wrapped and boxed. I was worried about the breakables but nothing has suffered during the journey.

The movers rated 4 P's: punctual, polite, pleasant, professional. They were extremely careful with our be-longings, making sure that nothing would get nicked or dented or dinged. They worked efficiently - and were a bit nonplussed when we "ordered" them to take a lunch break. I would use Public Moving and Storage if I ever had to move again.

Great dudes
Sunday was moving day. Nice to find guys willing to spend their weekend helping us out. We moved our skate shop down the block next door to our clothing store. Public Moving and Storage dudes showed up with every sized box you could want and plenty of blankets and packing mats to protect our gear. They treated all our stuff with respect and didn't track any mud or dirt into the new shop, which my girlfriend is really up-tight about lol. The guys were really friendly and I could see myself kicking back with any of them. We also used them to store some of our gear that didn't fit in the new location. Got great rates for that and super clean facilities. Overall value was excellent. Would recommend them to anyone

Johnson Storage & Moving Company
**HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE**
I cannot even express how dissatisfied I am with how this company handled my move. Misleading information on insurance, laziness on packing loose garage items, told wrong cu/ft on truck so I didn't rent a storage unit big enough until it was full they decided to tell me it wouldn't fit. Called GM and he was nothing more than an unhelpful pompous, arrogant person. Would not help and now that they've been paid in full have wiped their hands clean. Scratched my Harley by wrapping it in blankets and using straps and won't do anything because they misled me into believing my homeowner would cover it. Well, they won't cover damage to something the movers did. It covers a catastrophic total loss, not item by item!!! So if you want my entire review, go to Yelp and do a search for Johnson Moving and Storage. I was unable to fit my entire review on here, but bottom line. MANAGEMENT SUCKS!!!

Delta Relocation
Please accept my recommendation
Finally I have relocated to West Virginia to the mama, where I belong. I am just over the moon for being able to back in my how town. The transition was smooth as silk and the moving expenses were less than what I was willing to pay. My friend recommended Delta Relocation to me and I hired them for the full service. These guys were extremely careful dealing with my stuff, took great care of the floors and walls in both ends, and made the delivery within the schedule. Yes, few scratches were visible but those were nothing when you are moving a long distance. I am thankful to the team of Delta Relocation.

Great Eastern Movers
An enjoyable move
It was a massive move on my part. I had set up quite a life for me. I wasn’t keen on leaving but I just had to. When it came to hiring a moving company, I knew Great eastern movers was the way to go. Their reputation is fantastic in the market. The movers they sent were absolutely awesome. They arrived early and finished early as well. They reached my new house transporting everything from the old one is a matter of hours. That is just ridiculous speed! Hiring these guys definitely blurred the blow for me.

We searched about everywhere for movers we could afford. The selection is huge! Finally we came across Public Moving. I must confess I was doubtful at the beginning as it was hard to believe that affordable moving service does exist. I don't actually know the reason, but their quotes are much cheaper comparing to their competitors. I was absolutely wrong in my beliefs I must say. The guys awesomely completed their job for the money we agreed at the beginning. Naturally, I was glad to give some great tips to the movers and I am happy I did use this company. When you speak with professional team you just know everything will go smoothly. Indeed it was smoothest move I've ever had. I just moved to PA from NJ and still couldn’t believe my own eyes. Nothing is damaged, broken or missing!! Being honest, I never expected such perfection from Delta Relocation. When I hired them, they did not seem that much good but once they arrived for the packing and started working, I understood that my valuables are in the safest hands. They took the entire process very seriously and worked hard till the end. I just can thank this company for whatever they have done for me.
