It was an excellent experience. From the first communication with the office staff (Abby) to the final delivery of the furniture it was a simple and pleasant experience. Abby was great in setting up the move and communicating throughout. She would even respond to emails in the evening long after the close of business. The move itself was flawless. The movers were prompt and made a very difficult move easy and fast. It was a difficult move since it involved moving to Manhattan on a very narrow street with no parking space available and a 5th floor walk up. Every time a large truck came down the street the van had to be moved because of the parking restrictions. But even with this and the walkup, Alex, the mover managed to complete the unloading in under 2 hours- thanks to all

All Around Van Lines
Adaptive and skillful
Most movers, these days, would charge you ridiculous amounts of money even if you have little to no furniture. They give you the excuse that they have to bring their standard size van which would cost the same whether you have a lot of stuffs or not. However, with All Around Van Lines, you have the option of customizing the quote that would suit your need. They would quote you a price according to amount of stuffs you need transported, not by the standard size of their vans. I think this method worked really well for me during my move. People who are relocating but don't have a lot of stuffs to move should definitely get their quotes from this company.

Great movers!
I'm completely satisfied with this company! My moving crew was amazing, very nice, professional and caring guys! I moved to a 3rd floor and there was no freight elevator but that didn't slow them down and none of them complained once about it. They were worth every penny and I would absolutely hire them again.

Great movers!
I’m completely satisfied with this company! My moving crew was amazing, very nice, professional and caring guys! Most of my close friends made me believe relocations are hectic. That explains why I was so disturbed when I needed to relocate to Alabama. I was not so certain whether things would turn out my way. Even when I was engaging Exclusive Van Lines movers in my relocation, I had some sense of doubts. When they came for the relocation, however, things were different. They showed me that they could be trusted. They were reliable and did a great job worth commending.

Good bye uhaul!
Public Moving and Storage moved me recently. I was very scared about using a professional mover as I have always just used a uhaul before in the past and have heard terrible things about moving companies, but after looking at all the good revews this company has. I decided what the heck, I'l give them a shot and boy was I has I happy I did that. they did an amazing job. Ive unpacked since then and everything is there and unbroken. I would recommend them to anyone else who does need to move and doesnt want to deal with the hassle of a uhaul.

The customer service at Public Moving and Storage was spot on. The family and myself moved from Boca Raton Florida to Manhattan Kansas. It started when I called and was connected to Karen, she was very pleasant and friendly, answering all my questions and concerns about the upcoming scary move {I own a lot of stuff and get stressed out very easily} . The mover Paul Showed up 30 minutes earlier than scheduled which was totally fine with me, better then late in my opinion. He knocked on the door and politely asked if we minded starting then. Being the paranoid person I am, having all my stuff ready to go weeks ago was delighted and agreed to start the madness or what I thought would be madness. Paul and his team of helpers starting wrapping all my furniture in moving blankets and made sure to ask what boxes had my China etc. The movers loaded it on the truck like they were playing a game of tetris, It was amazing the way they packed it. I could see nothing was going to shift or move a whole lot. Four days later the truck with my belongings pulled into my driveway in Manhattan Kansas. They wasted no time in unloading and were even kind enough to rearrange things after it was brought into the house, to make sure I was happy. From the beginning with Karen’s quote and her help getting an accurate inventory, to Emma in the Dispatch department dealing with my annoying calls every day asking for update to where the truck was at any given point. And Paul, I can’t say enough about him. Paul if you ever read this and are in Manhattan Kansas again please contact us for a nice homemade meal.

We hit a rough patch and wasn’t capable to hire an expensive moving company. We hired Straight Forward Moving for their affordable quote without any high expectations. It turned out to be the best decision we made during this move. The movers were absolutely fantastic. They arrived on time, packed everything quickly and then loaded my things onto the van in no time. They even delivered on time and nothing was damaged. I am willing to bet on their efficiency!
