best experience we have ever had
After reading reviews (and complaints) from all the other moving companies in our area I was a total wreck about moving until a friend recommended Ace. We moved from Durham to Wallingford and we were moving the contents of a 4,000 sq. foot house into a house about 1/2 the size. I was worried about a lot of my treasured heirlooms handed down from grandparents, along with other household items. From the original walk through and estimate with Tom in the office, to the final move this company is TOP NOTCH! They were professional, courteous, friendly and fast working. They cared for our things as if they were their own; even took the time to re-wrap and/or box glass items to ensure they would be secure. They labeled anything they touched so I would know what it was. All requests were treated as priority; they truly kept saying "whatever you want". Knowing that both my husband and I have back issues, they were quick to tell me not to try to lift. All I heard was "Do not do it...I willl get that!". They also had to store the items for 2 nights because the closing on the new house was delayed. I was not worried at all about my belongings as I knew they would be secured. There were no last minute charges or true up items. The estimate was spot on. If you use them, ask for the crew of Clint, Mike, Jeremy & Wayne - those guys are THE BEST. In fact, they were so good on the move out, that I immediately called the office and requested them for the move in. This is crazy to say, but they felt like family, whom better to work with?Do not hesitate to call them - they are really the A team!

Arpin Van Lines Inc
Horrible experience.
Has been over a year and they still have not addressed the problems with my move. Keep in mind that one pays before Arpin actually completes the move. I suspect this practice has a lot to do with their poor performance. Since they are paid before the job is done they simply lose interest in properly completing the move. I wished I had listened to the other negative reviews listed below but I did not and chose to let Arpin move me. I regretted that decision and I am still regretting it. Bottom line is that you are well advised to stay away from these movers. If you are considering Arpin, my only advice to you is: "Run Forrest Run."

Just had these folks move my 2 b/ 2 b apt from James Island, SC to St Petersburg Fl, it was flawless! Thanks To the great teamwork from the back office , go Bethany! To Dale the most experienced professional mover I have had in past 5 years, with my last 4 moves! Thank you all, you took the stress out of a tuff time! I am glad its done!!

safely delivered everything
I have used them along with my husband at least 4 or 5 times and they get a 5 star rating every time. I have used other moving companies in the past and by the time my move was done, I could not wait to get rid of them. Not with Citywide. The only moving company I will ever use now.

Smooth Move Moving & Storage, Inc
very very reasonable!
I can not believe these guys do not have more reviews! I had a super weird request - a need to move a jacuzzi - ASAP. They were super responsive and asked all the right questions to make sure we were both prepared for the move. The movers showed up right on time and made a challenging job seem easy. They were all friendly and professional. On top of all of it, the price was very very reasonable! Cannot say enough good things about my experience. If you are on the fence because they do not have many reviews, do not be! These guys were great and I would gladly use them again!

Sanfords Moving, Storage & Shipping Container
Excellent , extremely professional.
I called Southern Winds in June 2014 inquiring about shipping my household goods back to Australia. I had spoken to a few other companies and was given quotes that differed by thousands and most of the people I spoke to sounded very dodgy and never seemed to give me the exact info I needed. Not so with Southern Winds International. I spoke to Donovan from the get go and he was amazing. Nothing was hidden, no extras, worked with me on price, walked me through the entire process from packing to receiving my shipment in Australia. If I called him he always had time for me, if I emailed him he would reply almost immediately. His attention to a customer is amazing. I packed everything myself (I have shipped household goods all over the world over the last 20 or so years so I know how to pack well). Two plastic plates/chargers arrived broken, 99% of the shipment was intact and arrived in perfect condition.

Swans Moving
Highly recommend this company for a stress-free move!
We recently moved across the country, from coast to coast, and hired Swans for the packing on the west coast. The team that Dan sent was outstanding. Very efficient and friendly, and our goods arrived on the other coast unscathed. Everything, including some odd-shaped carvings and a big elliptical machine, arrived in perfect condition. We had a few questions about where to find items when we started unpacking...and found it all. Dans advice to "keep unpacking, you will find it" was very good. The driver they hired was also great - gave us good updates on the plan and arrived exactly when he said he would. We were fully unloaded in just a few hours. A big move is going to be a big pain no matter what....Swans made it as easy at is could be.

We relocated from BGM to PHX last summer and the Rogers team made the move a lot better than it could have been--distance and season being major factors. They collected our nearly entire household, packed it very securely ( only one chair was damaged and a single smudge got on a sofa), and unpacked it efficiently upon delivery. Their staff was friendly and cooperative throughout the process and reimbursement for the damaged items was handled promptly. We probably won not be using them for ourselves again, but I recommend them for any job you have in mind.

Our son was transferred to Minot, ND in February. He had a tractor trailer full of their belongings and he did not know a soul in town. It was our son, daughter in law and a 4 month old son. There was no way they could empty the trailer by themselves and there was no way we could get there to help. One Friday afternoon I called Roger Ward movers and spoke with Joan. Her kindness and willingness to help set this mothers mind at ease. She followed through with the necessary documents and assured this nervous mother that everything would be great. AND IT WAS. Our daughter in law said they showed up on time, worked tirelessly to get everything done and were VERY professional. She was impressed. Their prices were reasonable and they were able to finish everything in the minimum billable amount of time. Thank you so much Roger Ward Movers for the great service you provided.
