Four Paws Moving and Storage
Efficiency is their thing
It is so hard to find moving companies who are experts at long distance transports. It really is a long way I was relocating to and so I had to be extra careful while choosing my movers. I chose Four paws moving

Four Paws Moving and Storage
I am happy
My last move across the east coast was completely hassle-free with services from Four paws moving and storage. We were concerned about our antiques, valuables and electronic items, but hiring this company was the right decision. All our household items were moved to the destination in perfect condition. The movers were professionals and punctual and were careful in packing the furniture and loading every item. They even helped with placing them exactly where we wanted them on unloading. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family for the best moving experience.

Botched Move
this company was hired by CMHA to move us...Movers lost paper work had us sign blanks after the fact very unprofessional. didnt move all of our stuff left behind the leg frame to our couch. scratched up our dryer ripping it our of our house. supervisor was on site and was rude and didnt help. after everything went bad CANDACE doubled down on her rudeness and refused to help us after we mentioned calling our lawyer. NOW we have contacted CMHA risk management lawyers and you will probably lose you CMHA account all because CANDACE is rude and unprofessional.

Orange Movers Miami
Moving Company Review
I hired Orange Movers to do a relatively short move, from Doral, FL to Fort Lauderdale at the end of September 2020 – about 35 miles all told. What a disaster! If you like your stuff arriving undamaged and fully intact, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Here’s my experience: -The guys showed up smelling of marijuana, with a truck that was already 25% full. -They irreparably damaged my $400 40” 4K HD Smart TV (worth about $6 based on their insurance). -They ripped the leather padding on my $1600 headboard and put a massive scratch into the wood (along with nicks and small scratches on the frame). -They put a MASSIVE gouge in my $650 entertainment unit. -They put my $500 corner desk together wrong – pinched the power cord between the top and shelving, rendering it useless – along with NUMEROUS chips, nicks and scrapes. -They scratched the glass-top of my $400 printer/scanner. On top of all that, because they couldn’t fit all of my stuff into their truck, they charged me $375 to haul the rest of it to my new place the next day … and because I had to turn the apartment over in two days, I had little choice in the matter. I had a manager (Milo) come out and survey the damage and he was very apologetic, saying ‘we’ll obviously take care of this TV and the other things – I have a wood

Boca to Miami
We had them move us recently from Boca to Miami, and they did a pretty good job. The only bad thing was that it was raining, but the did not stop for a minute . All items were covered in blankets and plastic. Avoid moving in the rain of you can.

Great movers, nice guys
Highly recommend this company is truly worthy of five stars taking our overall experience this may be the best weve had moving and we move alot. First off they were helpful and flexible when our closing date kept on getting pushed back we had to change the moving date like 4 times and they were very understanding all communications was prompt and efficient. Secondly the movers were incredibly fast and worked hard when you move alot you get used movers who are constantly taking their time running out the clock etc. Even though we were there last move of the day and it was very hot these guys hustled. Lastly the true mark of a 5 star company in my opinion is their customer service we had a few little issues all of which were dealt with promptly and more than fairly when one of the movers dropped something they credited us $50 which was more then fair since we didnt opt for any extra insurance at the end of the night the movers were exhausted which led to reluctance to help put two pieces of furniture back together as well as a mess in the freight elevator which our HOA fined us for. They did help with the furniture and when we brought the fine to the companys attention after the move they credited us the amount right away and apologized things will go less than perfectly during a move but this company handled everything so well we were definitely in good hands for the price this may be the best Moving company in South Florida. the final amount due was very reasonable even including the well deserved tip for the 4 movers!

30 days LATE and LOST HALF MY STUFF. UNTRUSTWORTHY and TERRIBLE MOVING EXPERIENCE.
30 days LATE and LOST HALF MY STUFF. UNTRUSTWORTHY and TERRIBLE MOVING EXPERIENCE. It took a month before my items arrived despite a contract that stated delivery within 14 days. Nobody knew where the truck was for several days after I called and complained. Half my stuff was lost and it seems like they didn’t even know they were supposed to deliver my stuff.

Jack & Jeff Transfer
Property lost; no accountability
My wife and I employed Jeff and Jack Transfer (“JJT”) of Visalia, CA to move our household goods from our Exeter, CA home and to enter them into storage, anticipating a duration (for an overseas assignment) of several years. After our return to the United States we relocated to Arizona in April, 2020. During the nearly 5 years when our material was in storage, we paid JJT in full, regularly, by direct payment. Not all our belongings were properly received in Arizona, however. Three landscaping tools of significant value were stolen while are things were in the custody of JJT. Two of these are clearly shown (by JJT’s own documentation) to be missing, even at the point of entry into their warehouse in 2015! The third piece – which was essentially the base component for all three – was actually replaced by an inferior, non-operative tool; clearly, this was a deliberate attempt to hide the fact that the tool was stolen. Nevertheless, in addition to JJT’s documentation, I have fortunately retained clear documentation of all three tools and their original purchase. I calmly called JJT to explain the situation. They were initially sympathetic – and promptly provided me with a claim form template. I provided JJT with all the requested details, including the discrepancy in the documentation, the evidence of what was previously owned by me, and the picture of what we instead received. (In addition, it was clear from JJT’s warehouse documentation itself that the other two tool items were completely missing.) Based on fair market value of replacing these tools, I fully and properly documented the loss claim and requested reimbursement from JJT in the amount of $367 - submitted electronically to JJT on May 29, 2020. All requested backup information was also submitted at the same time. JJT confirmed receipt in full of these materials a few days later, and that everything needed had been properly included and submitted. She stated that everything was in order and would be properly processed expeditiously. Four weeks then passed without receiving or hearing anything; I again wrote to JJT. I was assured that full reimbursement had been sent out much earlier, and that “there must be a problem with the mail”. (We live in greater Phoenix and have had absolutely no problem with the US Mail otherwise.) The JJT representative further indicated that she would personally “…issue the new one [check] tomorrow” on July 2, 2020. I am quoting directly from the archive of emails that I have fully retained. Obviously, these three assurances were misleading and insincere. Now a full 100 days after the incomplete shipment arrived, and two months after the claim was fully submitted and acknowledged, and after three email assurances by JJT’s representative, nothing has been received. I wrote to JJT once more (fourth time) to plead for fair handling on July 14, 2020 – two weeks after the statement that a check was being sent out the next day – but this time my request was simply ignored. Clearly, JJT is not only deceptive in its practices, but also insincere and misleading in their business communications. Although it shouldn’t matter, the other frustrating component is the very small size of our legitimate claim relative to what we have paid JJT over the years – well over $10,000, always in full and on time. We paid for the moves immediately and in full, treating the movers on both ends generously as well. They could not have asked for a better customer. Nevertheless, they refuse to take responsibility for the theft of our tools in their custody, and in essence have bilked us out of $367. On top of their dishonesty, this is simply bad business. It is immensely frustrating to be treated in this way. I sincerely hope to help other consumers avoid this same experience. I respectfully recommend that you exercise their choices wisely – including simply avoiding Jeff and Jack Transfer of Visalia altogether.

Two Men and a Truck-Northwest Indiana
Unhappy with movers
I hired this company on 7/15/2020 for my move from Schererville to Hobart. I had a 2 bedroom apartment at Clarendale of Schererville. The moment the head mover walked into my apartment, he said he would need to charge me more than the original quote. I had all of my boxes in the bathroom ready to be moved. He took my bed, couch, chair, 3 stools and a day bed, plus my outdoor furniture and 2 bookcases. My daughter had to ask him to take an extra chair. He was rude and short with me. I paid over $800 and not 1 box was moved. He told my daughter I should hire a U-Haul truck because this company charged too much. If he didn't want to move me, then he should have let me know this at the time. I now have to rent a U-Haul truck and hire someone to move the remainder of my home within the next 48 hours. I would never suggest anyone use these movers. As for their 'Grandma Rule', apparently the head mover didn't take that class. The director at this facility was witness to the treatment I received and said this was the second time this had happened to a senior person. Just a note the 2 young guys helping were hardworking, but took a lot of abuse from the head guy.

Colonial Moving & Storage
Terrible Experience- Avoid this Company. Liars and Thieves.
They seem organized up front, but CONTRACTED move out. The pick up team did $1000 in damage to the halls, which Colonial took no responsibility for. The contracted drop off date was missed, and with no warning, a mover showed up. ONE PERSON, not the pro team you'd imagine. Took hours and parts of my bed missing, making it unusable and mattress has folded in the truck- breaking the support. Colonial took no responsibility again! Then the mover extorted cash for a long haul- which is wasn't, and wouldn't put on the credit card for the move- and refused to leave until I paid him this cash. Have notified the BBB and escalated. Be smart, use another company as it's not actually Colonial that move you and they don't care

Don’t handle antiques well and don’t honor insurance purchased.
Don’t use! I Purchased extra insurance and paid them to pack and unpack all of my goods. And moving my grandmothers dining room set into storage during COVID-19 lockdown, they broke a leg off the China cabinet. They then denied the claim arguing “Latent vice”. They claimed the leg was broken before the move, which it was not. For 20 years I China cabinet was in my home with Crystal and China. Prior to that it was in my mothers home for 20 years with China and Crystal. No broken leg until the movers got at it.

Completely alleviated the stress from moving
Lightening fast responses to a request for a quote on a last minute commercial move for our small business and very easy confirmation once we worked out the details. On time and very prepared. Did not waste a minute. We were worried about the offload on the other side as it was a smaller space but the team made sure to organize everything for us perfectly so we don't skip a beat and completely alleviated that stress!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!
This is my third time using Four paws moving in 6 years. Each and every time, I have been impressed by their ability to go above and beyond the call of duty. The follow through with the various crews was seamless and I am so glad to have used them each and every time. I tell all my friends who are doing big moves to use Four paws moving.

Grateful we are
Four Paws Moving and Storage was truly professional and friendly. They arrived on time as we had asked them to and our house was cleared in a few hours. We were too annoyed with the whole moving thing but they turned it into an easy and smooth one. Everything was moved, stored and settled carefully. There was no damage to any of our items! Some of our antique pieces were almost fragile but they didn’t ignore those things. They packed them carefully too. I was impressed and have already recommended them among some of my friends.
