disappointing moving experience
This company made a delivery to our house while we were out of town. When we returned to find a box which was originally square look like it went over a cheese grater rather that a conveyer belt. Then to top it off they ran in to and damaged our entrance gate. When I called to see about our damaged gate they inform me they will check to see who the driver was. I responded there will be damages to their truck as well. After several attempts no return calls or replays via email. If I had been present when delivery was made I would have refused and my gate would have been repaired. The integrity of this company you decide.

Terrible claims process
Do not even bother hiring them. They were over 5 hours late on the day I am supposed to move. Did not give any updates, I had to keep calling them begging to know when they will come. Had to cancel on them and ask my friend to move for me.

Pacific Island Movers
horrible experience
This is the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. They would not unpack my boxes, they did not put together my furniture. We told them that they were not finished, so we told them that they must come back the next day and they said their boss would not let them. Its been two weeks of phone calls to get them to come back to get the boxes and they have not shown up. I get a phone call this morning saying they were at my house to pick up the boxes but there was no heads up and nothing scheduled.

reasonable price
Ran across these guys doing a google search and since they returned my call I used them. I called 3 other places and never heard a call back so hey snooze u loose. Sergi was super nice and reasonable on price but considering this weighs 500ish lbs it was fine. They showed up and wrapped it and off they went without an issue. I would highly recommend them for any vault move u need dine in the future

One Big Man And One Big Truck
fantastic customer service
Absolutely 5 star service. I was moving a 2 bedroom apartment within the city and OBMOBT took care of everything. Everyone I interacted with was super professional and they made sure I was up to date on what was happening at every step of the way. The movers handled my building policies perfectly and secured a COI in a timely manner. My belongings were carefully wrapped and taken care of. The entire move ended up going much quicker than expected and the final cost was much less than I was quoted, which was a nice bonus A day or two after my move, the owner kindly called me to confirm that I was happy with my service and make sure that everything went smoothly. Overall amazing customer service and I will use this company for any future moves

Oceanside Local Movers
highly efficient and professional
These guys were amazing Friendly crew, that was fast and efficient. Helped me out on a last minute request. My original movers underestimated the how much truck space we needed even after a visual inspection days before. On moving day they left me with a garage full of stuff and said they would not make two trips to come pick up what did not fit on the truck. I started to panic as we needed to be out that day. Called around till I found Oceanside Local Movers. They were empathetic and had their crew add us, just as they were headed home. I wish I would have hired them initially Highly recommend them.

This company was very professional. All they did was their job, and did not cause me any worries. I thought it would take 5 hrs for the move and it was only 3hrs because their movers went at a very steady pace which help us tremendously.

very efficient in moving all items
We utilized On The Move for our office relocation in October of 2015. The movers arrived on time and were very efficient in moving all items from the old office to the new office. They handled our items with care and were very professional during the entire move. The movers unloaded our items and placed everything in its correct office at the new location. Would definitely recommend as an excellent choice for your next move

Excellent Job
I used Old City Movers six months ago and had a great experience, so I used them again. Once again, if I could give six stars I would. The communication was fantastic, they adjusted their schedule to deal with some challenges on my end, and the team was amazing. Isaac, Chris and Chuck were awesome. Olde World Movers
Great moving experience
We used Olde World Movers this weekend to move my sister and that was the best experience moving I think I have ever had. Our team was Anthony and Tory and these guys were amazing They were on time, quick but thorough, courteous and fun! We had to move items from 3 locations to the new house. They wrapped all the furniture with moving blankets and got everything loaded and unloaded without one problem. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Anthony and Tory

One Nation Moving
Disappointed in this firm
Deceptive, deceitful and dishonest. Their business model seems to be quote one price, lock you in then take advantage of customers and upcharge them ridiculously I got a quote for a 2mile local move, just my larger items couches, beds, dressers or 695. Movers showed up and charged me a total of almost 980 thats 40 over their estimate Absolutely zero additional items were added to the thorough and detailed inventory list that we went through to get the quote These clowns charged me 215 for moving materials tape and plastic wrap to move items 2 miles and 5 minutes in their truck and their was no mention of moving material charges for items besides breakables like lamps, mirrors, electronics and I did have one dresser mirror that we discussed in the estimate and she did not mention or note any material fees. These folks are deceptive at best and out right frauds. Beware and think two, three times before falling for their scam! I attempted to refute the charges but got nowhere and they know they have you in a tight spot for timeframe. Total crooks, I have filed a complaint with State attorney general and hope to get some resolution but I definitely regret using their services

Our experience with Original Moving was nothing short of an outrage. They quoted us 450 prior to the day of moving, and they were very efficient and consistent in their communications, which fooled us into believing that they had scoped our job a very typical 1BR apartment move thoroughly. But when the movers arrived, they walked around our apartment and drew up a new scoping list, which MORE THAN DOUBLED the original estimate. We could not afford this, so we hired them to work only 4 hours, moving all the large items. And at that, they refused to move furniture with glass cabinets until I disassembled them I have had those cabinets moved by other movers who had no problem with them. So the disassembling, transportation, and reassembling cost me about 4 more hours of my personal time. WHen they were done, we were left with a half moved apartment, and we spent the next three days shuttling our stuff in Zipcars from one side of town to the next.

Worst moving company and communication ever. My 500 mile move from Arizona to San Diego took more than 3 weeks to get delivered. They pick up your belongings and take to a warehouse storage facility in Las Vegas. Stay away

I missed a drop off in the morning due to a last minute military appointment. Decided I would pick it up myself from them. Talked to the owner and had miss understanding about when I could come down and get my things. When i called again, the owner started to get an attitude with me and told me we did our job She is very difficult to deal with and hung up on me. I do not recommend this company and advise to look into other options.

We just completed a local move we are still unboxing at the destination. We used their packing service as well as loading, transport, and unloading. Josh came out and did the quote and the price came back right in the middle of what one of the online calculators estimated. The packers took two days to box everything and judging by the lack of damage we have seen unboxing, it was time well spent. The packers were curtious, polite and very focused. During the load and unload phase, padding was installed on all of the banisters, etc. and they moved everything carefully and safely no damage to either house. They checked with us regularly as some items were moved and others not. And, there was no grumbling on unload when I had them move one couch twice between floors. Junior and the crew did a wonderful job for a reasonable price

best company we have ever used
My husband and I got relocated and were assigned with Markesbery as our movers. We could have not asked for a better crew So friendly and nice while being super clean, taking care not to mess up floors and walls and so thorough in creating inventory of our stuff. good service
I work for a moving and storage company out of San Diego and we coordinated with North Western Warehouse to help move one of our customers out to Rapid City. We received nothing but top notch service from everyone we encountered and our customer was very happy as well. Thanks to Ron and Jason specifically for making this work. We will certainly use them again in the future if we have any other shipments going that way.

Our move was really fast and neat, there were no mishaps no damaged floors or furniture, our furniture was not scuffed or scratched at all. The movers were very careful, really knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Even though our move was a small one the movers were cool and attentive. The result was great, really smooth move on a difficult date for a move.
