Better Service
Overall, our experience was great.I moved my elderly father from Pennsylvania to North Carolina last week. Tim, the move coordinator, was awesome. He helped with meeting all of our needs, especially with providing us with boxes way ahead of time so that when me and my travel party arrived at my dads we were able to quickly start packing his items and preparing for the movers to pick up. We packed Saturday and Sunday and the movers arrived promptly on Monday at noon. The movers were pleasant and professional.

Terrible company that others should avoid. Their services may come at a cheaper rate, but there is a good reason why their prices are low. Your furniture will be torn, scratched, soiled and your boxes will be damaged. You will not be reimbursed for damages.

This company should NOT be doing business. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS I reached out to them about a move and they sent me an estimate immediately. I thought that was a good sign. Unfortunately , thats all they did right. They did not show up when they said they would to pick up my furniture etc. and they did not deliver the most expensive item they took. And now they refuse to return phone calls. I should have checked the Better Business Bureau before hiring them. They are NOT BBB accredited even though they have the BBB insignia on their communications

It was a wonderful experience. Cal and his guys were too top notch. They were communicative, efficient, respectful of my items and overall fantastic. They even made an all my items fit perfectly in storage.

We have moved twice in the last year and used a different highly rated moving company the previous time. Our experience with North Star was vastly superior. The movers were quick and professional and the price was much better. We are very happy we went with North Star this time

Northwest Relocation
No respond to my request
NW Relocation has broke their contract with me. They will not finish assembling my day bed and dresser, they put my piano together wrong and like I said, they will not honor their contract. My stuff finally arrived on May 17th, I have been calling since May 18th, I have received 1 phone call back on May 20th and nothing was resolve, I was promised a phone call back, which I never receive. I call all the time and they will not answer their phone.

James was good to deal with. I had to change my date a couple of times but he was able to be accommodating and rolled with it. Price is very fair. They came with their own truck and had everything you could need dollies, blankets, shrink wrap, blankets, even wardrobe boxes although I did not need any of that because I was moving from storage so everything was good to go. His son, James Jr. came with a helper. They worked quickly and efficiently. Everything made it there in good condition. They even assembled my bed for me. Would definitely use them again and recommend.

I rarely get on here to write reviews but I could not help myself The business owner Preston Jones and his employees where more than helpful when it came to my last minute cry for help They where very mindful you could say of my belongings and my time and I love the fact that they price match with other local companies to Make sure you get the best deal possible .All and all I would definitely recommend this young mans business to anyone looking to move ! Great customer service I will be sending some friends your way very soon

I have moved multiple times in the past 10 years including 3 cross country moves and Michael and team provided hands down the best service of all the companies we have used. They were professional, timely, stuck to their price and even provided discounts where possible, and did not damage a single item I was honestly astounded because things inevitably get damaged in these cross country moves. I rarely write reviews on yelp, but had to for Michael and Team because their service was truly excellent. Thank you for delivering my all my familys worldly possessions safely to our new home

Miserable experience
