TLDR at the end. I went with the cheapest of three quotes and I regret it. John Green did a nice job of remotely estimating my move (due to COVID, we had a video chat) which was on the smaller side of a typical amount of goods to be moved from Ohio to Virginia. The total came out to just over $3,500 and I thought that was a very reasonable price and about 15% cheaper than the next highest bid. Due to the smaller load, it had to be packed onto one truck, transported on that truck to a warehouse in Michigan, then stored until it could be loaded onto a different truck that was making multiple stops heading east. I understand that is how they make small moves economical and I accepted that the delivery window would be 3 weeks long. After the movers packed my goods the scheduler, Tracey Pritchett contacted me and I agreed to a delivery on 5/16/2020 between 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. I called on Friday 5/15/2020 at 2:30 PM to confirm the delivery and was told that "I am your next call, let me doublecheck and call you back". I called back at 5:25 PM to again confirm with Tracey and she confirmed that the delivery would arrive the following day. The next morning at 9:30 AM my phone rings. It's Tracey. She has called to inform me that not only will my goods not be delivered today, but they haven't even been loaded on the truck in Michigan. She doesn't know why the driver couldn't make the delivery because he never returned any of her messages, she "assumed everything was good to go". I later get a call on Monday 5/18/2020 and Tracey informs me that my goods will be delivered on Friday 5/22/2020. I inform her that I am already scheduled out of town for work Friday through Saturday and I cannot be there to accept delivery and there is no one else in the household; I asked for delivery on Thursday. Impossible, she states. Her supervisory Bethany Gutowski calls me back later to verify that I cannot be there to accept delivery on Friday. I confirm emphatically, I will be working out of town. Today, 5/20/2020 I receive an email with an invoice for an additional $1,041 for storage from Friday through next Tuesday and they will be able to deliver my goods on Wednesday. They won't even tell me what time the delivery will be until the day before. I do have a new job that doesn't allow me to just phone it in. I guess that doesn't matter to them. TLDR: I paid for a service to pack and move household good for me. They did a great job packing them. The transportation of them from Point A to Point B resulted in them standing me up on a CONFIRMED delivery with less than 1 hour notice, then informing me that if I couldn't be at my new residence to accept delivery on the date that they TOLD me I HAD to be there, it results in an additional charge of $1,041 to 'store my goods' for an additional 6 days. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MORSE MOVING AND STORAGE. In fact, I highly recommend that you take the next highest bid, which for me was "Two Men and a Truck" for my particular move. I have been on hold with them for enough time to have heard over and over on their on-hold voice messaging that 'mistakes are costly', doing moves the first time is important to them', and 'customer satisfaction is their number one priority'. Not true. I wish I would have checked reviews on them before making a decision! *If you can't accept delivery on the day they direct, you are SOL and will be charged whatever they feel like.

The team showed up right on time and took care to wrap all our heavy furniture items and make sure they were moved quickly and carefully. They also showed up with a very large moving truck and were able to fit our entire one bedroom apartment in one trip. They were very professional, friendly and careful. They even had on masks and distanced themselves which is appreciated during these Coronavirus times. They moved our items in a timely manner and were not trying to run the clock or waste any time. We would definitely recommend them

One Move Movers
Excellent service
We just finished our Long Distance move with One Move. They were amazing! We contacted them just a few weeks before and they were extremely responsive. They gave a completely reasonable quote and then confirmed a few days before move day. The pick up went so smoothly! Armando and his team showed up early, got right to work, and packed everything extremely well. They were efficient and friendly. We had 3 guys which made it go even faster and while we went a little longer than their estimate, there were no hidden fees and it was a very fair price at the end compared to what we had been quoted elsewhere. They delivery everything today and I was so impressed with their ability and how cautiously they handled all my furniture. I never thought moving from Bay Area to LA would be so easy, I’m very thankful for this guys. We will absolutely recommend and use them again if needed in the future!

moving in this situation was really stressful and we had to close on our new hour and had to move last week and were looking for moving company got sfl worldwide reference form my neighbor. we hired sfl worldwide 3 men crew and truck for our 4 bedroom house move. estimated time to start move was between 8am to 10am and crew arrived at 8:20am and got right to work. crew was profession and did know their job. I am thankful that sfl was working during this covid situation and made my move a hassle free move.

Moving of America
2 thumbs up!!
I used Moving of America to move very heavy furniture to the second floor up narrow, tricky stairs. I called three other moving companies they saw what the move entailed, and they declined the job. I went back on the internet and chose Moving of America which was a great choice. Five moving guys wrapped the furniture and had it up the stairs in short time. Very happy with them and would hire them again.

Good Movers.
Rashid and his team did a great job moving me and my wife from San Francisco to Los Angeles last month. The cost was fair and the moving team came dressed in protective gear which was important given what’s been going on. There were no delays in pickup or delivery.

Moving Recommendation
I received a standard quote for two hours minimum. I had three young men show up to move me and they were ALL very professional and knocked out my move out from a downstairs unit to a move in of an upstairs unit. They knocked it out within an hour. Milestone Relocation Solutions Washington DC Movers
DO NOT HIRE THEM
DC MARKET - DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS. They are super communicative until moving day, and then they will no-show and dodge your calls! Today is my moving day. The movers were meant to arrive between 9-11 am. Last night at 7 pm, just 14 hours before the arrival window, I get a text from Chase asking me if I can reschedule to one day later because he isn’t available. I said I cannot reschedule because my landlord expects me out, I can’t get parking permits on short notice, etc. - you know, all the normal reasons why a move, unlike a haircut, can’t just be rescheduled on 14 hours notice. Chase said that he will try to get a team assigned to my move. I asked for confirmation once that is done, which I didn’t get. Fast forward to this morning. Still no word from Chase confirming that someone is coming to move me. At around 9:20 am, Chase tells me to contact the “main boss” (who I assume is Scott Sanderson) or Christine. He gave me Christine’s number. I called her, she said she would get back to me in 15 minutes. A couple hours and several unanswered calls and texts to both Scott and Christine later, Christine texts me to say that “customer service” is trying to reach me but can’t get through. I said I’ve been sitting next to my phone for hours, so that’s impossible. After I asked for it a couple times, she finally gave me their number. I called, no answer so I left a message. I also doubt whether it’s actually customer service because there was no outgoing message. Then Christine asked me to call Chase to sort it out - even though Chase, who at this point has been ignoring me for hours, told me to contact Christine. After hours of this, Chase texts me at around 1:30 - my move was supposed to be done or almost done by then - to finally admit that no one is going to help me today, and asks if I’m able to book someone else. On a Sunday. For a same-day move. Still haven’t figured out what the heck I’m gonna do because it’s a Sunday during a pandemic. But I didn’t want to waste any time letting you all know NOT TO BOOK THESE PEOPLE.

ABS Moving & Storage Inc
I have no issues
ABS moving and storage helped me move a few months ago and they did an amazing job. They quoted me reasonably and promised to send capable movers. The movers arrived on time and were carrying the right tools. They were very efficient. They packed all my belongings with cautiously and proficiently. They loaded my furniture into the van with no efforts. The delivery was made on time and I couldn’t find anything to fault with. It's not every day one comes across such responsible men!

Seemed Nice - Terrible Results
I know that everyone hates their movers, but after my 4th cross country move Braha was the worst I've dealt with. Their quote ended up being half of the actual charge, but by the time they are there to pick up the house, there is little choice left than to pay the extra $3,000. I had more things poorly packed and broken than any of my other moves. Things like paintings stretched, tall glass vases broken, and more. Honestly, the majority of our boxes looked like someone had dropped them from the truck - squished on the bottom with broken everything. Bad communication, bad estimate, bad delivery. Pay the extra and go with a big-name mover, it'll wind up being the same price in the end.
