Wrost Experience.
DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. I recently used Brunos team for a simple move that only took 2 hours. When I spoke with Bruno back in April I told him it was a 2 hour move, he said fine, but we have a minimum 3 hour charge, plus and hour minimum for travel charge. So the movers showed up, had me loaded and moved in 2 hours. I was charged a minimum of 4 hours, plus the drive time. I tried several attempts to reach out to Bruno but he never returned my calls, and the one time I did get him on the phone, he told me he was to busy to speak to me. Now the movers were great, very nice guys. But, beware, they do not take care of your furniture when they load it. I had lots of cosmetic damage to several pieces. But here is the kicker, doesnot matter if they damage your stuff, the agreement you MUST sign in order for them to move you concerning damages has the amounts they are not responsible for so high that it basically indemnifies them from any responsibility to replace or fix anything they destroy.

Scheduling was also very easy and flexible. Definitely recommend.
Josh and his team were beyond amazing. I truly can not say enough wonderful things about their professionalism, great service, & smooth move. We had a multi-day, multi-phase move (over 7k sqr ft, Guesthouse, 3 car garage). They also packed our entire estate with care and professionalism. I think we had a least 6-8 men crew each time. Because of the multi-phase move, they had to be very organized and did an great job of that as well as communicating. They really can provide VIP service, (crated things that were expensive or delicate, etc). Some things went to storage (which they provide too!), some to the new home, and some things moved to one of our businesses. They executed everything with ease and made a typically REALLY stressful experience, easy and manageable. We are using them soon for a long-distance move, to relocate some items from storage to a summer home. You can not go wrong with these guys (they really know what they are doing), and they were just an entire team of wonderful people.

Unacceptable
Bottom line, this mover is not interested in any repeat business based on their practices. My mother was recommended this mover by her contractor, the original estimate was to be a "total" estimate to pack-move out-warehouse her items offsite for a term-move her items back in. She then pre-packed/moved offsite a significant amount of items prior to her move day to reduce her overall costs but upon end of just the packing day (before actual move day) the movers were demanding payment for their first step (requirement not conveyed in their estimate) and it was already 141% of original estimate. Calls were made to the owner in San Jose (this firm goes by Silicon Valley Moving & Storage as well and is administered by that office) regarding the grossly underestimated job but return calls (or emails) were returned only once calculated to annoy and hold to their costs opinion and take no side with their clients concerns.

Something fishy is going on here. A company by this name and in this city & state tried to scam me for a bogus delivery. The phone number listed does not go to that number and is forwarded to a different number. We are reporting this and turning over all the Emails. I would AVOID!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER.
We spoke to the woman who picked up the phone the day before (09/28) confirming our 9 am slot time to move for today (09/29). They tell us on the phone on (09/28) they will be coming at 7am to start the moving tomorrow, so we are all ready at 7am today & no one shows up ALL DAY. We thought maybe they are coming at 9 am... we get no sort of call saying they are running late or any communication whatsoever that no one is ACTUALLY coming. We called the business number associated multiple times to see if we needed to look for new movers or if they were still coming??? Around noon we decided to start looking for new movers because we all took off work and this was our only day to move. No one else is available on short notice, but we booked Home Movers 2 weeks in advance for today.

Courteous, efficient and accommodating!
In the wake of moving ourselves a couple times in the course of the most recent couple of years, we chose to procure an organization to do the "truly difficult work" this time. After a couple cites we chose to utilize Seattle Movers and are happy we did. Extraordinary to take care of business brisk and without bother. Suggested!

I will echo what another reviewer said: 1 star is 1 too many. After two hours the movers never showed. First I was told they had picked up another quick job at MY SCHEDULED TIME and would be an hour late. One hour later they are still a no-show, so I call and am told to give them another 30 minutes. Thirty minutes later no one shows and I call and cancel. Despite all the haggling no one ever apologized. Moving is stressful enough. Save yourself the worry and AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Best movers for your money.
TLDR; go with David and his team. This is our second move with him and he has gone above and beyond again. Note that all those one star reviews you see ARE NOT his company. Its a different company and its really sad that they are getting impacted for something thats no fault of their own. I have high expectations and trust me when I say that David is the best when it comes to moving. This is my second time moving with David and I am crying right now because David and Cesar both did such an amazing job with my move. Moving is so stressful, but they were both so sweet and personable. I had so many good conversations with David and you can tell he treats your stuff well and takes his job seriously. I kept telling him to leave stuff and not to worry about wrapping some of my furniture, but he said he can not do that because he wants to make sure all of my stuff is protected. I did such a bad job with protecting my stuff and honestly was fine with it getting damaged as a part of the move, but David went above and beyond to make sure everything was wrapped properly and got to its final destination without any issues. The amount of time they save you, I can not believe the rates they charge. Its so low when you think about all the work that goes into moving.

Easy Movers
These guys are great!
These guys are great! We had to do a one day move, pack up and unload at a distance of about two hours from location to location. We used two trucks and eight men, and they were also very careful and considerate of both homes. There was no damage in either home from the moving, and no damage to our furniture or packaged goods. We highly recommend them, and they are also cost-effective as well!

DFW Movers
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH DFW MOVERS.
As if moving is not stressful enough this company only made matters worse. To start, they were over an hour late and I had to drive to them to have them follow me to my place of residence in their filthy graffiti covered truck. Upon their arrival the two male workers already had an attitude and were very rude. After seeing that I stayed on the upper level they rolled their eyes, spoke aggressively in their language and proceeded up to my apartment. Once upstairs they told me that it will be an additional $50.00 per flight of stairs that they would have to go up or down which was hundreds more than the price I was given over the phone. They complained the whole time, took breaks on my dime, and several items were damaged or completely broken. Please heed this advice, save your money and sanity and go with another company.

Benson, the owner, went out of his way to accommodate my request to do a site survey, because of my anxiety about "hidden fees" when it comes to moving companies and second floor apartments. Then comes moving day. The 3-man crew immediately eased my anxiety about the the move. They were right on time, they were polite, they handled all of my belongings with the utmost care, and most of all they were extremely professional!! Calvin, Nathaniel, and Ro (my crew)were a joy to work with. There were no hidden fees and the price is was quoted was exactly what I was charged and the time frame I was given was exact. Again, I would HIGHLY recommend this company to any and everyone whos looking to move to/from the NOLA metro area, no matter the distance!!!

No problems with the job. We had more boxes than expected, though, and apparently this happens a lot. Unfortunately one of the movers was incredibly rude and assumed the customer should know that they charge by ITEM, regardless of what size the boxes are and whether they are ergonomic to carry or not. They also did not explain how they got to the final price, which was more than the quoted one, even though we had two people helping load and unload. They did the job visibly grudgingly and made us feel ever worse about the stressful experience of moving house.

I enjoyed the staff at this location. I went in initially to buy moving supplies and they made a few recommendations of brown tape, which was amazing. OMG! I have not been as in love with tape since my Army medic days. Any unused supplies are returnable for a full refund. The boxes are good quality and will uphold. They have a lot of trucks to choose from with various sizes. I have rented from them twice. The only real requirements they have is that you return the truck in good condition with equal gas and sweep it out. They will give you a broom for the latter one. I highly recommend and I will use them again if needed.

Customer service is UNBELIEVABLY BAD.
I would give this company a big zero if it was available. We moved from Tucson to Phoenix and our property had to be stored for several months before delivery to Phoenix. When the movers picked up our furnishings they were extremely careful. Our BBQ had a new canvas cover that touched the ground. The movers reversed the cover back over itself to not catch it in the wheels. When the furnishings were delivered the BBQ cover looked as if someone took a butcher knife and sliced, ripped and tore the cover from one end to the other. There were black stuffing on the cover suggesting it got caught on the wheels and someone simply continued to run it over. We had a 1020s Original Art Deco table. Solid oak runners 1 1/4" thick located under the table were split down the middle as if you took an axe and chopped a log in half. One of the legs was broken and loose. The side rales of the table had been originally made with dowel pins entering the leg from two sides. They were sheered off. The mahogany top had scratches on it from something being dragged across it (It was wrapped in a blanket when they picked up the furnishings). I completely understand an occasional ding or blemish may occur during moving. However, a shredded BBQ cover and a wooden table broken into pieces is not what I would consider expected and reasonable damage.
