Premier Moving & Storage
DAMAGE EXTENSIVE - BUYER BEWARE!!!!
We used them for an out-of-state move from Columbia, MO to the East Coast. Here are the many problems we had: 1. My employer wanted to pay with a purchase order. Although Allen, the owner, agreed to it, he constantly complained to me about this. I would think the minor inconvenience of additional paperwork would be offset by an interest in good customer service. 2. I had to constantly ask them when our items would be delivered. They failed to notify me. 3. The driver arrived at our new house the afternoon before the scheduled delivery. He ended up parking the truck on our street, which did not make our new neighbors very happy. It would have been nice had they actually discussed this with us. 4. When the driver arrived to unload, he only had two other people with him. (This is compared to the 4 people they had to load our items.) It also appeared the driver was hung over because he reeked of alcohol. This meant that he disappeared for long periods of time leaving only the two other people. Needless to say, it took a long time for them to unload what was a 4000 s.q. house. 5. After we finally unpacked all of our boxes, we realized several items were missing, including an irreplaceable picture. We filed a complaint with North American; but, they denied it because we signed off on all the boxes. This is true, and we should have been more careful. However, at that point, we just wanted them to unload our items because they had moved so slowly.

These guys are careful and fast. So fast! I recommend them highly.
Felix and his team are the best movers I have used, and I have 3 professional movers to compare on packing, moving, and unpacking from 1 cross-country move and 2 cross-town moves. Perezs Moving is careful, fast, and well priced for the service received. I would not think twice about paying more if it meant I got to use Felix again. We had a bunch of kitchen/dining ware, 2 home office set ups, art, and other equipment that was packed expertly and efficiently. Nothing was broken, chipped, or damaged. I do not know how they did it, but this move had the least amount of waste/boxes/paper. The overall cost for our in-town move of a 2BR, 1BA, 2 large bonus rooms, storage, pantry, and garage was $3k, including materials, not including tip. Felix, Juan, and Francisco packed the entire house in 5 hours on Day 1 and moved us in 9 hours on Day 2. They reassembled all our furniture, took away plastic wrap, and everything was clearly labeled and staged in the corresponding room, making unpacking a breeze. Each day, the crew took a 30-min break for lunch that we provided (burritos one day, sandwiches the next + drinks), and when the truck was open with our things, someone was always keeping an eye out. Felix came recommended to me by a friend who has pretty high standards when it comes to her stuff, and it may sound crazy, but I looked forward to writing this review because Perezs Moving was that good.

Ed and his team are fantastic! I am very weary when it comes to moves because of things breaking! I have an eclectic amount of belongings - furniture, fine pottery, and a lot of artwork (abstract and paintings) that are extremely fragile - that I was apprehensive to trust any movers with. However, Ed and his team used the utmost of care in taking care of my belongings from Silver Spring to College Park, MD. I would not hesitate to use him again. This is a five star business led by a real humble man who does it for the enjoyment of his clients, not the cash. This company is the best company you can find to move your items. I have moved several times in the last fifteen years (both long distance and local) and this company is as good as it gets. Courteous, always returns calls, and the best part their quote is right on within a few hundred pounds compared to other companies that low ball the weight and then charge you twice the rate for poundage on moving day... a surprise you do not want to get.

Quick and careful, very courteous, they completed the unload in less than an hour.
I can not even begin to give this team enough thanks and praise for how they handled my cross-country move. The sales rep, Mike T, who came out to give me an initial quote, had lots of helpful advice and answers to all of my questions. He made the paperwork a breeze. When I had some follow-up questions, he got back to me within minutes. Danielle from the office was super proactive in terms of keeping me updated on time-frames and checking in with me during the pick up and delivery days. And the moving team I had, Ademia and Jason, are honestly rockstars. Professional, efficient, friendly - if/when I ever move again, I would only want them!! They went above and beyond to take apart and re-assemble my larger furniture so it would be safe during transport and could get up THREE flights of stairs (in the rain, no less) at my new place. They took perfect care of some fragile items that I was worried about packing. It blew me away how quickly they were able to get everything done while ensuring all of the parts and pieces were accounted for. Not a single item was lost or damaged during the move. Plus, they are just so NICE and fun to be with that it felt more like having friends or family helping me out.

I would highly recommend this company and ask for Anthony and Tory!
We used Olde World Movers this weekend to move my sister and that was the best experience moving I think I have ever had. Our team was Anthony and Tory and these guys were amazing! They were on time, quick but thorough, courteous and fun! We had to move items from (3) locations to the new house. They wrapped all the furniture with moving blankets and got everything loaded and unloaded without one problem. I would highly recommend this company and ask for Anthony and Tory!

I rarely write reviews on products or services, but I had to take the time for this one because these guys were AWESOME! We did a virtual walk through via Facetime so the sales rep (Eddie) could see what we had and got a price quote a day or so later. The actual day of the move started exactly on time and the three guys who had to hump all of our belongings did so in a very friendly, careful and methodic way. I mean these guys did not stop from start to finish, except to eat lunch. They moved 20 yrs. of stuff from one house to the other in 8 hrs!!! I could not recommend them more and their price was actually much less than we expected. When we told friends what we paid they did not believe us! Could not recommend them more...

This is the second time I used this company. They arrived and took very good care of all my belongings, and moved quickly!!! They were pleasant, right down to the sales dept on the phone. North America Transfer-AK & HI
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
On Feb 20 2011 I paid to have 2 timeshares of quality from Starwood Westin transferred out of my name.They were supposed to completed within 6 months.One was completed Feb 16th 2012, 2 years time not 6 months. The other time share is still in limbo.They mishandled the title transfer to the new owner and added his name to my family trust.I do not even know the man, a Mr Albert J Goldstein.Transfer America does not respond to calls or faxes or emails. The contacts they give are not in service. I had one other time share I transferred with a company I met a month later. That was settled in 6 weeks.

Some items were damaged - broken expensive plates etc.
A bunch of lowlife crooks! They keep changing business names, but they are the same people. If you hear the name Adi Peretz - stay away! They picked up my stuff and where all nice and polite. When I wanted to get my stuff back, they were no longer answering their phones. I eventually grabbed hold of them through their sales extension and they claimed it was "due to the holiday season". They then sent me a revised estimate based on the weighing they have done after they left my house, adding an extra $700. When I have asked, they explained they have a weight ticket supporting this. I have asked to weigh it again in my presence. They agreed, but said I have to pay for it. I did. This time, the weight came to 3 times the already bumped up weight they claimed it was.

Absolutely wonderful.
Absolutely wonderful. Kevin got the logistics down a month in advance and it all happened as planned. Jorge and his crew were efficient and careful. Everything picked up on a Thursday in Culver City and delivered on Friday morning in Palm Desert. Two trucks full and no damaged items. Best of all: Kevin set a price and they kept to it despite a few problems and extra tasks along the way.

I have worked with moving companies previously and been incredibly disappointed with the movers and the companies overall. I took a chance and called At Ease, not knowing anything about them. FROM THE FIRST PHONE CALL I WAS PLACED AT EASE. The professionalism, explaining the cost breakdown and ways to save money and courtesy was awesome. Then, after signing the contract, a representative came to my home and did a walk around. He talked to me in specifics about MY belongings what tools they would use to carry, disassemble and reassemble as necessary. He even told me the size truck he would use for the amount of items I have. On moving day, they arrived and worked hard. They moved quickly without sacrificing care. I was so impressed. I would recommend them to anyone

Horrible experience.
Horrible. Broke quite a bit of our furniture. Did not respond to inquiries about claims. Demanded money orders for the drivers. Very unethical.

Excellent , extremely professional.
Rob, Patrick and the rest of the guys of Moving in Motion made my parents move super easy and smooth. Rob was very communicative prior to the move so I knew what to expect. He laid out all the fees and gave me great information regarding renting the moving truck and how many packs of moving blankets I would need. The guys arrived promptly at 9am. They all introduced themselves and we all did a walk through the house so they knew what was going to be loaded. I wanted certain items to be loaded last so they could be unloaded first and the guys were very accommodating.
