Fast Movers
good service
Amazing, fast, reliable movers! We forgot to book movers to help us unpack our stuff and called fast movers the day of to help out. They were able to fit us in and everything was done in about an hour (we had a 20ft uhaul truck full of stuff)! They also came with us to pick up a washer and dryer, moved it into our new house, and helped maneuver the huge truck in and out of our driveway. Cannot say enough good things and would definitely recommend to everyone.

Finding a mover is a crap shoot. You call one and it goes to voice mail. You call another and your information is taken and your told someone will call you back. This can be repeated multiple times! I actually spoke with Dave and we were able to schedule my request for a move for the next day. His crew, Dale and Missie, met me at the storage facility at the time we agreed upon, loaded up the truck, drove to my home, unloaded and finished the job in 2 hrs. They were courteous and professional and pleasant to work with. The quote was very fair and I feel it was appropriate for what I needed to be moved.

We highly recommend Columbia River Moving company! Joseph and Manny were amazing! They were both very honest, professional, respectful, on time and they were very careful with everything. They were also very patient with me because I know I can be difficult deciding where things go. I will definitely call them again if we move again or need something delivered. Highly recommended!

I was worried about hiring movers you always hear horrors stories. A day prior to my move I received a text confirming the address and time. My movers were Max and Vald very nice and really helpful and hard workers. They asked lots of questions to make sure I was happy with the places they were putting things. I would recommend these guys to anyone! They fair very fair with pricing no hidden fees no gas charges what they said is what they charged! I was just just so overall impressed! Great job guys thank you so much.

Had a great moving experience from the midwest to the east coast. The packers arrived on time and did a great job packing. Next day, the loaders came and everything was in the truck by end of day. Four days and 800+ miles later, our stuff arrived and the crew brought everything in as directed. Everyone was polite and professional. I highly recommend Cord/North American moving. They were also the cheapest bid. Big thanks!

From start to finish the staff was amazing. The efficiency and speed with how they worked all while taking great care of our things and home was really impressive. Both crews were in good spirits the whole way through packing in the middle of a NY summer as well as delivering in 95 degree heat in CA. Loved how we received updates as to where our things were as they traversed the country. On both sides of the move, not a nick to a wall and everything arrived in tact. Really great job!!

This company came highly recommended. The movers showed up earlier than expected. Rented the truck and 4 movers. Was amazed at how fast they had my 3 bedroom house loaded up. They wrapped all my furniture with blankets and tape. Moved to a 3 story home & these men had to carry boxes & furniture to all different levels including our rooftop. Impressed with them and recommend again. Will use them again in the future for our next move.

If your looking for a great moving company, you can stop here. Stephan, Jesse and Abner killed it. That means they came, saw and conquered. They were non stop until the job was over. They handled everything perfect and made sure we were happy. Better than any other company we have used. Solid. 4-20!

I needed help moving a fridge and range from the garage to the inside of our house. Bluebird came through, one hour later at that! Not only were they quick to come out but they were also the cheapest option in town I highly recommend BlueBird moving, even for small moves that you may have.

They were interactive with confirmation and reminders prior to my move. They let me know when they were on their way and arrived early for our move. They were prompt and professional. From the initial phone call inquiry to the estimate appointment to the moving day, All-Ways Moving & Storage is a most professional company. Owner, Jeff Harvey assisted me with a keen awareness of quality customer service. His quote was less than expected and the cost of container storage was also better than self-storage. The crew of three--another Jeff, "Ro" and Jason were the best. Very enjoyable to work with, fast and efficient. A very positive experience all around. Definitely will use this company again and refer it as well.

American Choice Van Lines
Used to be called Big City Movers
I guess they have different names to avoid terrible reviews but both companies have the same US DOT: 1732844 ICC MC: 634819 They have ABSURD hidden costs. They will charge you for quite literally every little tiny thing including the amount of steps it takes to get to your door from their truck. Not to mention, it took them over a month to arrive when they said it would be a week. Their customer service is trash and very unresponsive. When I finally (after weeks of calling and emailing everyday) talked to someone higher up they were rude and very unhelpful acting like it was my fault it had been a month and my stuff still hadn’t arrived. They offer a very attractive fee at first, but beware that is extremely inaccurate. I paid a $275 deposit and when the arrived gave them the rest with a check of $1,200. That was the deal I was told I would be receiving with their promotion. The movers arrived and were rude, disrespectful, and inconsiderate. Before they left they demanded I pay $200 more that had to be paid in cash for some bs fee that I still haven’t gotten an answer to what it was for. Also, the main guy pleaded with my boy friend if he had any weed he could buy before leaving. Very professional to beg the customer for drugs before driving all their belongings across the country, right? Then I get a call a few days later (when they were supposed to almost be to my new apartment)that they had to go to New Jersey to get a bigger truck because I had more than they thought, even though I listed every single thing I was taking long before they arrived to pick up my things. Not to mention, everything fit perfectly, even had extra room, when they left my apartment with my stuff. For this unnecessary idiotic detour, they asked for an additional very large sum of money. Their trip was supposed to be from DC to Austin, so why did they immediately head to New Jersey and then call me days later? If the truck was too small shouldn’t they have known and told me straight away before they even left my apartment? If it was too small how did everything fit perfectly when they left my apartment? It of course didn’t add up, but at this point I was moving in my new apartment in 2 days and needed my things. Then I got a call that I needed to pay an extra $1,094 total for additional services I had never been informed of. For instance one was a long distance fee because they didn’t realize the distance was longer than they thought (um do your research before???). When I said that was ridiculous and I wasn’t going to pay because they did not disclose any of these fees before,andquitefranklytheysoundedfake, they said they were going to keep my things in New Jersey (meaning they had been there doing nothing for days) until I agreed to pay. Fast forward a over a month after endless excuses and horrible customer service, they finally call and said they would arrive between 12pm and 3pm the following day. Well, I received a call at 7 am that they were at my building. I was at a friends house 30 minutes away and they yelled at me for having to wait. They were mad about having to wait 30 minutes when they showed up 5 hours earlier than they said they would. Half an hour they had to wait when I had been waiting over a month...mmk. I had to buy and sleep on an air mattress and rewear 4 outfits for over a month and the company did absolutely nothing to apologize or reimburse me. In fact, when they showed up and demanded I had to pay $600 more in cash for their “journey†from the loading dock to my third floor apartment. If I didn’t pay they said they would unload everything on the loading dock and I could take it up myself. What a joke. While unpacking I discovered They stole over $1000 from one of my moving boxes, shattered my mirror, cracked my glass bed side table, and ruined my head boarded it was covered in black grime. So, long story short this is an unreliable scam of a company.

All Around Van Lines

I used All Around Van Lines when I moved back to New York. The company at first approach seemed pretty fair and reasonable. The estimate they gave me is exactly what they charged me. They showee up on time and got every thing loaded nice and safe. They drove off and I headed to the airport. The movers however arrived a day later due to some bad weather as I was told by the driver. That is the only hiccup that I had with All Around Van Lines. Other than that the price was good and the service was great.
