This is probably my fave Milwaukee Ave furniture shop. The selection seems top notch. No one greeted me or checked how I was doing. I did not really need help but if I had that would have irked me. I like the styles here and prices are reasonable.

The movers were personable, polite and efficient.
The movers were personable, polite and efficient. They were so quick the final price was lower than the estimate. Stacey in the office is right there to answer questions or deliver a message. I was more than pleased with the excellent service.

Not one item was broken or damaged
Did not end up using them... Scheduled an estimate visit for today, November 11... called to make sure he was coming and was told that I had called and rescheduled for tomorrow, that she had talked to me! I did not, had no reason to... Jenny said she was sorry for the misunderstanding... I said there was no misunderstanding as I had never called and never wanted to reschedule... I pointed out that I had not received a confirmation e mail for tomorrow... again she said sorry for the misunderstanding but that other people working there had access to the system...

On unpacking we found some damaged items
Driver claimed my credit card payment did not go through and so I paid cash for the trip. A couple days later my credit card account reflected a charge for the trip. Very frustrating, so be careful you do not fall into this situation.

Kansas Van & Storage Criqui Corporation
Wrost Experience.
I have used this company for 3 moves and this is the final strike. I have also used them for storage so I am your one stop knowledge base for all of their prices and services. First, they offer moving and "climate controlled" storage of your goods for any period of time. The moving comes with semi-white glove service, meaning they pack you up but they do not do a thing when its time to unpack at the secondary site. Lets just do a quick note on the storage. I do believe it is semi climate controlled. I have had to purchase new boxes each move because the others seem faded from water damage. Not direct water damage but indirect water damage. Like the boxes are exposed to humidity on a daily basis (yes I am aware it is humid in Kansas, I have lived there;) all I am saying if it were complete climate control there would be NO damage to the boxes at all. Next, the movers are just out of jail or going to jail at best. These last movers I had were literally bragging to me (a law student) how they had just been in a big bar brawl and were charged with several crimes. I am not sure if they were looking for free legal advice or what but these guys are headed for the hoosegow and he can kiss his CDL goodbye. If I had known I was letting people of that caliber in my residence I would have hired my own friends I can guarantee they would have done it, cost to move a 2-bedroom apartment from Topeka, KS to Denver, CO over $2,100. I am happy to pay but the service should be there and the company should run background checks on their employees! I will never use this company again and its United Van Lines for me from now on!!

K-D Moving & Storage, Inc
Reasonable prices, and the team worked quickly and efficiently.
I hate moving. I absolutely hate it. Theres nothing more paralyzing to me than the thought of packing up everything and carrying it down my narrow stairs and then carrying it back up another set of narrow stairs at the new place. Luckily for me, K-D Moving had come recommended by a family member and I was willing to give them a try. Was I lucky I did! The billable time started right when the truck leaves the warehouse, located right by Village Gate. I was not moving too far away so the entire trip took about two hours. I did not even fill up the entire truck, so the unloading process was even shorter. For my time, I got two punctual movers, a whole truck to myself, and two of the most professional people I have ever worked with. When we saw that they had tracked in some grass and mud, the movers swept it right up and kept going. I am hoping I am done moving for awhile, but when the time comes I will definitely be using K-D again. Their courteous service broke me out of my moving-induced trance and now I am settled into my new place much sooner than I thought I had be.

Worst possible experience.
Worst possible experience. Due to a problem with the purchase of our home, our items were in storage. We set a date once purchase was set for delivery and they messed the date up. They ended arriving at 10pm at night and were unloading till 3AM. Over $2500 in damage including 2 large screen television sets, walls, floors, missing table glass and so on. Efficient and the process was over quickly.
The two men who showed up did a very good job. They arrived early. They were scheduled at 10 am and were waiting for me when I arrived at ten minutes til. They were not daunted by the situation of getting the sofa through the door. I was hoping they would have wrapped the sofa in a protective tarp, but they did take care not to damage the leather furniture piece. After struggling for a bit to get the sofa into the door frame they managed to get it into the right position where they could push it through inch by inch until it was completely out the door. After that the chest of drawers seemed easy. While its a heavy piece of furniture and the stairs down which it needed to go was windy, the two men handled it with ease. At the destination house the men were equally efficient and the process was over quickly.

Jays Small Moves
Really great and super professional.
This is the 2nd time that I have used Jays services. This move was handled really well. The team was on time, efficient and really looked after our stuff, wrapping furniture and making sure that everything was travel ready. On the back end, we loaded into a big storage bin and Chris and team were really good at stacking things and making sure that everything fit, without being harsh on the furniture.

Surprised how quick and efficient they were.
Let me start by saying I never write reviews, but I was very impressed with JK Moving Services! I had such a great experience that I needed to share. Its important to note that my university hired JK to pack up the dorms after we had left due to COVID-19, therefore I was not paying them, the finances were covered by the university so I cannot speak on pricing. However, I can speak on the ease of delivery and the packaging. The delivery was so smooth and easy. The movers were so kind and considerate and handled every making for a very stress free move. When I opened my belonging everything was extremely well packed and non of my breakables were damaged in any way. They were extremely communicative throughout the entire process and I am so thankful for their services especially during this time.

Horrible experience.
Horrible. There are enough negative reviews here that I do not need to belabor the point - Jays Moving in 2018 is not what Jays Moving was a few years ago when I had a good experience. I hired Jays to load three PODS for an out of state move. I provide 5 dozen moving blankets, a dozen ratchet straps and a couple hundred feet of rope. They used less than half the blankets and only used one ratchet strap. Besides one item, NOTHING was tied down or secured in the PODS and we had many items damaged and scratched in the process. The movers were pleasant and worked diligently, but they were careless with our belongs and unprofessional in how they loaded the PODS.

Quick and careful moving is great.
My wife and I needed rides to and from Philadelphia Airport and were lucky to find Infinity online. We received quality personal limo service from beginning to end. My initial contact and questions yielded prompt responses from the owner Robbie Gardner. The price was very fair and even included a basic gratuity for the driver. Both trips, door-to-door to and from PHL were comfortable, relaxing, on time, worry-free, and efficient. We were pleased in every way and will look forward to using Infinity again.

Here To There Movers
DAMAGE EXTENSIVE - BUYER BEWARE!!!!
RUN!!! Do not even think twice. SCAM SCAM SCAM. I had services scheduled from 9am-10am on June 4 2022. The movers arrived at 8:30 and started clocking. They moved quickly and were kind, they told me they were finished but there still was stuff left. I asked them to take the rest of my stuff but I was told the truck was full. When we got to the storage unit the opened the back and the truck was only half full. They quickly threw my stuff into the storage unit and then asked for my card. I was like can I get the total first they proceeded to tell me it was $1004. I said how you have only worked from 8:30am to 10:15am?? He said there is a minimum of 4 hours. I said well I was not told about this. Then proceeded to ask them to return to my apartment to get the rest of my stuff and they told me no. They also charged me $90 for gas but could not explain the math or mileage. Charged me $80 for shrink wrap and became very rude when I questioned it all. I have tried contacting JR the manager via phone and email but no response. A worker even showed up in Nike slides, not professional at all. If I could give them a negative 50 million star I would. DO NOT USE HERE TO THERE MOVERS!! Scammers!! Rude!! Still your money!!

Run for your lives! Do not do it. After a recent move from Arizona to Kansas we fully regret hiring this company. Almost all of our furniture was damaged. Anything in a box was fine. Their claims website would not accept our information so we were unable to file a claim online. We were sent paper forms to fill out and return and the move coordinator, Tina, lost the email. I resent it and have not received any communication from her after sending multiple emails and leaving voice messages. I sent her the forms the first time on May 4th, almost one month ago. We spent almost $8,000 and it was a total mistake. Go with another company.

Terrible service. They did not show up on time, one day not at all. They did not bring the proper supplies, did not complete the packout on time, do not answer the phone or return voicemail. I have very little confidence that my household goods will show up intact on the other end.
