Do not use Chris of Jersey Movers, cell phone number: 201-892-2556. He unprofessional and vile. Recently, I moved out of Newark and had contracted with Chris for manual labor for the move. He said he had provide three men for a certain amount he provided only two men - and those men seemed to have one speed: slow as cold molasses. They also (1) showed up late without calling and (2) did not listen to me when I would say: "That goes in the trash" That goes to the trailer". Because they were late, I hired two guys off the street who moved fast and were quick about getting my stuff out of the apartment. Those two guys were worth far more than Chris guys. When the job was almost done, Chris guys started demanding payment, even as I was trying to get them to take the last remaining items down to the trailer. Instead of taking the items, Chris guys apparently called Chris to tell him I was not paying.

poor experience
Run! Dishonest and sloppy. We used them three times and each time we had serious problems they ignored. Stuff was broken and damaged that we shipped with them. We contacted them but they did not take responsibility. They lost stuff we had in their warehouse. We contacted them but they did not take responsibility, other than to promise to pay us a piddling for our lost stuff. And then they did not pay! Lies. This is a dishonest outfit in which the son is running down the good name of the father, who started the business, and from what I gather used to be very good. Sad state of affairs. Seriously, run. They do not care about your stuff, though they will look you in the eye and make promises they have no intention of keeping.

Irvine Movers
good service
Irvine Movers were easy to work with. They arrived on time, got to work immediately and were careful with my IKEA assembly. I was surprised how quickly they took apart and put together my bed, which took me like 3 hours of struggle, when I initially bought it. However, I am dinging one star for they surcharge for credits card transactions. I knew about it but still its not fair to shift their credit card fees to the customers.

professional, strong and very helpful
Wow!!! Interior Moving Services just made my life and my familys a whole lot simpler !!! The guys were professional, strong and very helpful. Having been in the same house for over 30 years does not make moving easy. However, a professional moving company can make things go smoothly. This is now our go to company for moving anything!!

really good experience
So far I am really happy with the service. We are moving from USA to Netherlands. They were on time. Wrap up things in just few hours. Always available on phone or email to help me out and answered my questions. Will post my review again in few months once I receive my shipment.

My husband and I wanted to support black owned business to help us move. They were 45min late and all 3 men had the smell of weed on them. My entire house smelled like weed smh. They were lazy and slow. Moved like they had all time in the world. My husband literally had to help them move. He did majority of the work for them. They were tired and unmotivated. We did better hiring some young guys to help us move. We spent almost $500 on unskilled unprofessional movers.

Terrible claims process
Used these guys back in 2004, but it still smarts to think about this moving experience. I knew things were bad when the crew arrived late and started to drop and break things right away. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
One of my best friends recommended this company and this is now my go-to for any moves going forward. I moved last summer to a 4th floor walk up and was dreading how much it could potentially cost. Intense Movers provided so much relief during this process. There is an email questionnaire that documents everything which is great, no surprises! The pricing is incredibly reasonable, and they are very responsive. The day of the move was a positive experience - the team of movers were so quick and friendly and humored my tendency of thinking I am being helpful but actually getting in the way. Planning to submit a quote for my next move this summer, and you should too!

In and Out Movers
No respond to my request
Almost an hour late for a set appointment. Movers were specifically told not to put certain boxes on bottom, but same boxes were in fact on bottom with heavy load on top. They seemed to take their time, increasing the payment. They only accept cash or venmo. Very difficult to get in contact with them, basically playing phone tag. If you use this company, ensure they follow through with direction.

worst experience ever i have seen
This was the worst experience of my life. Please do not hire these guys. Movers were terrible, took 3-4 more hours than needed, damaged the house and the furniture. We were overcharged for the service, ended up having to speak with the Sales Director who gave us a discount. Robert Arrowsmith - I had never in my life encountered such a lack of professionalism and character. Please do yourself a huge favor and NOT deal with this dysfunctional company.

Herman Transfer & Storage
moving are professional, timely, efficient, and really take care
My husband and I have used Hermans Transfer three times in the past 5 years. Two local moves within Dallas and one out of state move. They are an exceptional company and the guys who complete the moving are professional, timely, efficient, and really take care with your things as well as the home you are moving in and out of. They have also flexed their experience and creativity during a few of our moves. We question if a big, awkward piece of furniture can make it through a doorway or up a flight of stairs and they make it happen. Highly recommend

We have moved many times in the military and post military and HMS was the best at planning the move, packing, loading and delivery. We used HMS for a long distance move and yes there were some items damaged as with all our moves they were by far the most efficient. I recommend HMS, they provide professional service and the employees are polite and helpful and take care with your goods. The loaders and unloaders worked hard and fast. It is a family run business and they provided us with boxes and packing material for the items we wanted to pack ourselves.

my move were incredibly helpful
I used Hanover Transfer for a quick move across the river and could not have been happier. They showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. The three men who were in charge of my move were incredibly helpful and cheerful throughout the whole process. All my furniture was protected and arrived safely. I have one particular piece that is on its last leg and they were very careful with it during the move. They also came in under what I was originally quoted. I could not recommend them more.

highly efficient and professional
Could not be happier with the move these guys did for us today!!! They sent 6 men and 2 trucks who did not mess around. It rained all day during our move and these guys did not let it slow them down. They accomplished a move of some complex items like appliances, a safe, a million boxes, furniture, and more, from San Antonio to Boerne today in 5-6 hours. Not only did they move quickly and efficiently but they handled everything with care, absolutely nothing was damaged. Moving is such a stressful time and I am so glad we went with these guy for our big move. HIGHLY recommend!!!

I have moved quite a lot, and Hewes Family Movers are by far the best moving company we have ever used. They were professional 100% of the time, they were very thorough, and did not rush the move to get done as fast as possible like all of the other companies that I have dealt with before. I would recommend them to anyone!

I cannot say enough positive things about Chrisson, Donald, Sherman, and Chuck. They arrived on time and were super polite. When they arrived I mentioned that we really wanted to get our trailer picked up by the moving company today since it had to park on the street. All of them worked so efficiently that it took less than two hours to move a 3 bedroom house. I highly recommend them for any ones future moving needs.

polite, professional and exacting
Hunt the mover did an excellent job on our move from Wicker Park, Chicago to the suburbs. They were on time to start the move and, when I say they moved with military efficiency, I am not lying. It was honestly impressive to watch. We were pretty much all packed up and I was able to sit in my garden and drink a beer. If there was a downside, the estimate was roughly 1 hour under from actual but you almost always have to assume that. Overall though, it was a great experience and I would recommend to my friends. The movers were polite, professional and exacting. Nothing broke and the pricing was fair. Thanks for the great experience.
