disappointing moving experience
What a disappointment , we have moved 5 times over our 25 years together and this was by far the worst. Constantly told what you want to hear and then they change their tune prices nowhere near estimates , rude ownership and disrespectful to my family. Many items broken and missing many more not respected moving your possessions is a matter of trust and that was trust was breached through out the process. They really need some work as I have never been treated as unprofessionally

Steel City Movers, LLC
Excellent Work
I have used Steel City Movers for three moves and each time they were great. All the men were professional, courteous, and hard working. My recent move had heavy work tables, drill press and other equipment. They never complained and in fact were very upbeat during the whole move. The prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them.

This company did not do a good job. Then they avoided responsibility for the damage they caused to our items. They are sub par and I would not recommend them at all. Have to give one star for the review to be accepted thats the only reason they are getting a star Avoid this company like the plague if you want ALL your furniture to arrive in good shape

Skybox Movers
Excellent Work
Skybox Movers are AWESOME. I scheduled a Thursday 2pm move a week before the date via email, and Matt was great in providing me with his liability info, confirmation of crew members, and even gave me a 5 percentage off discount. Skybox had the most competitive rate for a 2 person crew for 2 hours roughly 150 dollar. All other moving companies who offered lower rates did not have insurance which is a red flag in my opinion. The movers, John and Scott showed up early for the 2pm move and were great They were careful with all our large items section sofa, bed frame, desks, tables, armchairs and we could not have asked for better movers. I highly recommend Skybox and would not hesitate to use them for the next time we move

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Don Arroyo at Rainier Overseas Movers was absolutely fantastic to work with our shipment from Oman to the US was caught up in the Covid 19 shipping container nightmare. Don stayed in touch with us throughout the year long saga, and managed to re route our shipment within the US at the 11th hour, with great flexibility and ease. Highly recommend Don and ROM for your international move.

I am updating my first review. All the missing items have been located in various boxes. The bed frame parts were not with the bed frame but were packed in a box unrelated to the frame. The pictures were wrapped and placed in a box. I apologize for the initial review. It was a stressful move and not having everything readily visible upon arrival was frustrating. The folks at Royal Hawaiian were very attentive to my concerns

Excellent Work
The experience I had with Royal Alaskan Movers could not have been better. I had to coordinate from out of state, never met anyone with the company and everything they told me was absolutely true costs, move date, picking up items from different sources, storage of items. When the furniture was delivered, it was wrapped an packed just like Rod said it would be and seeing it was better than I expected. They unloaded the truck fast and carefully. Rod and everyone I spoke with were so helpful. I hope to never have to move again, but I am certainly recommending them to anyone who needs a great moving company

I had a really great experience with Reliable Moving, the owner Ben was so responsive; he made a very stressful time much easier. The crew of movers with Carlton were so nice, so fast and efficient. Route 66 Moving
friendly and affordable
We used Route 66 Moving to move from a 2 bed 2 bath house in SF to a 2 bed 3 bath apartment in LA. We had a lot of stuff to move since we also had a garage full of storage items. We had four guys come out to pack the house up. They were extremely efficient, took apart furniture, wrapped big items to protect them, and loaded up wardrobe boxes with our closet contents.Moving into the new place, the crew arrived on time but unfortunately were short handed. However, they worked their butts off and got all of our stuff into our new place and put together all of our furniture. They were exhausted by the end, but even so, they were always kind and friendly.Moving is such a pain, but this company delivered on what they said they would do for a flat fee and no hidden costs, which is a plus.

Service is unacceptable. We hired 2 people to come help move our stuff only to find out that they never showed up. After calling them a few times they said they were running 30 minutes late, then 60 minutes, and then they stopped answering our calls. Never showed up.

Cannot say enough about how this company works to really help their customers. Shannon the moving coordinator helped me with fair and HONEST estimates. There were no pricing surprises. Tom and Brandon protected my new home and got me moved in with no damage. They worked hard the entire time doing more in less time than larger crews that I have hired in the past. The companys high BBB rating is no fluke and one of the reasons I selected them. With a new home I did not want a fly by night moving company. These guys know their trade. You cannot go wrong with the Road Haugs

Worse moving experience ever. When they came to pick up my furniture, they had overloaded the truck, so they strapped my bicycle to the back of the truck. I had to pay for storage as I did not have an address yet. I was late a few times , yet they never charged me a late charge when they billed me until when I was to have the furniture delivered, then my fixed estimate jumped up to almost double of what was on the invoice. I had always heard of this happening, but it had never happened before Now, I know The delivery what a joke First I was told they would be there Friday, then Saturday, then Sunday morning. The driver showed up at noon Sunday with absolutely no other help. He unloaded the truck by himself, dropped my kitchen table and broke a piece off. When it came time for my couch which I told him he would not be able to do it himself surprise I was right. Thankfully another delivery driver came to my house and I asked him if he would help unload the couch and he did. Otherwise, it would probably still be on the truck. There was a shattered picture and the driver told me it was broken when they put it on the truck, and when he said something, they said take it anyway. Do not hire these people, especially for a long distance move

good service
Recently sold a very heavy glass fish tank. The buyer hired Quality Movers to come and move the tank from my house to his which was a bit of a herculean effort. The glass tank was 6 feet long, weighs over 500 lbs, and is well, made of GLASS. They moved everything quickly and made sure to not damage the tank and stand or anything in my home. The team that came out was professional and very friendly. I am so impressed I will be noting their information down for the next time I am in need of a moving service
