The history of Golden North Van Lines, Inc. Alaska Moving Company is more than an example of corporate business success. It is the story of management, office staff, van operators and movers, operations managers and sales representatives whose continuing dedication has made Golden North the most progressive and successful Alaska Moving Company. The Halverson family opened and Incorporated Golden North in 1976 with an office in both Anchorage and Fairbanks. In 1981 Steve Halverson became Owner and President of the Anchorage moving company. In 1984, Golden North became the carrier representative for United Van Lines, Inc. in Alaska. Today, Golden North Van Lines continues its growth and dedication to becoming the leading Alaska moving company and relocation service. We have recently completed the construction of a second and larger climate controlled warehouse facility and office space in Fairbanks. We also expanded our office space at our Anchorage moving company facility to meet the needs of our business development technology and staff expansion.

Comment : I had a great experience with Golden North Van Lines, Inc . They were prompt and efficient. As I was in a condition to relocate within a short course of time I got trembled in handling the situation. But, Golden North Van Lines, Inc they made my move easier. They professionally disassembled and wrapped all furniture in a quick time. The transportation was efficient and I got moved to my new house effortlessly.

Comment : Golden North Van Lines has been the official moving company of the American Cancer Society Anchorage Wine and Food Festival for the past 2 years. Each year, the staff of Golden North not only move all of our supplies from the office to the event venue and back, but also deliver oversize auction items to the homes of successful bidders following the event. Each year, bidders who receive home deliveries take the time to call us and let us know what a great job the Golden North staff did. The Golden North team is incredibly competent and friendly, and continues to go the extra mile. I truly wish there was a 6 star rating
