Comment : Hiring movers is kind of like swimming in the ocean right after dusk...there is very good possibility of encountering sharks. Prudent people do their due diligence and look for solid references. If you are checking here on Yelp, I hope you read other reviews that Yelpers have written to give you insight to the Yelpers personality and reliability as a reviewer. That said... One Nation Moving is owned and operated by Doron and Edva, a lovely couple that are absolutely trustworthy. They moved my daughter from D.C. to NYC, a move that required storing her household items in their facility for a month. They treated her like family...is there anything else you could ask for? We have already recommended them to a couple of family friends. Think about who you had recommend to your close friends...thats who Doron and Edva are, people you trust your reputation to. We live in South Florida, but if I lived in the D.C./Maryland/Virginia area...they would be the ONLY movers I would EVER use. My daughter just graduated from law school in DC and moved to NYC to work. There will more kids making the same trip each year,, and if they are truly smart...they will use One Nation Moving...they are real mensches, or to be more correct with spelling, menschen.

Comment : I was quoted a great price and went with this company. I will say they were very careful with our stuff and with the rental we moved out of. What got me was they wrapped boxes that were already taped up. I did not realize they would charge me over $1,000 in packing materials. That great price they quoted me went out the window. The company is professional and they were respectful. The only reason for not giving a higher rating is the price. Next time I will go with a flat rate company
