Peoples Moving & Storage is owned by Marie Romano of Warwick, RI. Peoples Moving & Storage started out in the early 1900s as Peoples Storage Warehouse in Providence, RI and later evolved into Peoples Moving & Storage relocating its facility to the well known center of Historic Apponaug in Warwick, RI. In 2005 we celebrated 100 years of business. It was a year long celebration for our Company for many reasons. We have relocated from our well known sight to another close by location in Warwick and spread our wings to other dispatch locations throughout RI and MA. We maybe expanding but do not be fooled we are still the same local and family owned company we have always been. We keep our new fleet of trucks in working order. All trucks are inspected daily by our trained drivers. Each truck is equipped with the latest equipment to ensure safety for our employees and your belongings.

Comment : My move went very smoothly. The three guys worked very quickly and were friendly. Only one vintage glass got broken. I did mention yelp when I made the reservation and did not receive a discount which is disappointing. I also was not informed when I booked that there would be a 3% charge for using credit cards. I ended up paying in cash to avoid this. My only complaint is that I left two voicemails on two separate days and my calls were never returned. My Compliments are to the movers and not the business. I would use these movers again.

Comment : Used Peoples twice most recently to move into our new house and everyone involved with the company from the office staff to the movers themselves was friendly, helpful, polite and respectful of our items and family. I would gladly recommend Peoples for any moving needs.
