Comment : We have just moved to Chicago, IL from NYC with the help of Atlantic union van lines. I was not willing to hire them initially because I had a cheaper offer but after looking at their reputation I changed my mind and hired Atlantic union van lines. Now I can say that I made the right choice. They gave us the full service. From packing the first box till moving the last box to the other end, everything went according to the plan and without a hitch. This company is not cheap but surely they made every penny count that I paid to them.

Comment : Atlantic union van lines moved our belongings two weeks ago. I didn’t even have to give any instructions to the movers. They knew exactly how to do the job and they did it perfectly. Not even a glass was broken on the way. They even unpacked everything and put them in the right rooms. I cannot praise these guys enough. This is the best moving company out there.

Comment : What I liked the most about Atlantic union van lines was their friendly and prompt customer care service. Their movers were absolutely fantastic while they moved my belongings. But what really impressed me was their customer service. They were prompt, attentive and experienced. I was constantly kept in a loop by them so I wouldn’t become worried about my possessions. Their quote was very reasonable and they really gave me a good deal. They even kept in touch with me after the delivery was made. I am blown away by the way this company approached me every time.

Comment : Atlantic union van lines goes the extra mile for their clients. I can say that because they handled my relocation without any issues whatsoever and in the end all my valuables survived the journey without even a single scratch on them. They quoted very reasonably and the customer service was very helpful. They constantly kept me in the loop through phone calls and emails. The movers were fantastic. They maintained the timings and worked very efficiently. Moving is not rocket science but it is difficult enough. I can’t thank these guys enough for making my move so easy.

Comment : My move was at the worst of times. All the top moving companies are booked months in advance and I was stuck with the crappy ones. I can go on and on about how amazing Atlantic union van lines is but if they can’t accommodate you, it doesn’t mean anything. So I suggest that if you are moving, you hire them as early as possible. I had to call them about 10 times to find a vacant slot and I was calling them 3 weeks in advance. This company is amazing and so there is a long waiting list. I think they are definitely worth the wait.

Comment : Estimate: For the original estimate, we told them we had 2 bedrooms (1 bdrm plus a little in storage) and listed every item of furniture. The original quote seemed low when they arrived, so they looked it over and revised the quote to almost double the original. By the time the truck was packed, it was another $1000 over the second quote, and this was WITHOUT some of our furniture and boxes we had planned to move. Pickup: very professional, some minor rescheduling, seemed to package things well. Communication: we were absolutely unable to contact anyone from the company for about 20-30 phone calls to various numbers when we were trying to check the status of our move (over several days and times). When we left harsh voicemails, we finally got someone to help us. They kept referring to an online moving status function- when we tried it, it said to call customer service. No good. Communication was also poor about delivery, and it was rescheduled many times. Delivery: TERRIBLE. Two days before our things were scheduled to be delivered, our stuff was still in New Jersey in a warehouse. They said they would call when it got closer. We scheduled delivery, but they then delayed again for another day, then delayed that day for later in the afternoon, then were 2 hours late. In all, this was about a week after our originally scheduled delivery date. When the movers arrived, it was a subcontracted company called Uzbek Express. Their English was very limited. They moved everything to the garage, assembled and moved most of the big furniture and several boxes, but then stopped working and demanded that we sign the release paper. They became threatening until the paper was signed. They left, with about 80% of items left in the garage. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE ATLANTIC UNION OR UZBEK EXPRESS!! You will never be able to get a hold of them, they won't deliver when they agreed to, they subcontract to shady menacing characters, they charge over 2 times what they quote at first, things get broken, and they leave the job undone after being paid.

Comment : I don’t know how people even attempt to move all on their own. I could never do it. The stress of relocation wears me out. Thanks god for moving companies like Atlantic union van lines that exist to make our lives a lot easier. I hired them to move all my belonging from my old apartment to my new house. I am very pleased to report that they have done an excellent job. Every little detail was taken care of. The crew was very thorough and resourceful when it came to packing my things, especially my glassware. I was quite concerned about they were going to fit all my belongings into two vans but they did manage to do it somehow. Everything traveled very well as only two glasses broke during the journey. I am very happy to recommend this company.

Comment : We hired Atlantic union van lines for our move after reading so many great reviews about them. I started to understand the hype when I found their customer service to be very helpful and they gave me a great quote. The four movers were very helpful. They took just 2 hours to pack and load everything from our 3-bedroom apartment. The men were also very efficient and skillful. The delivery was made on time and nothing had even a scratch on them. I was very impressed with the movers throughout this moving process. I will hire them again for sure.

Comment : It was such a last minute rush! Our move couldn’t take place at a worse time. It was the last weekend of June and all the moving companies were booked months ago. After literally pleading to Atlantic union van lines, they finally accommodated me in a late afternoon slot. I was just grateful that they were not charging me extra for it. Anyway, the movers were amazing. My old apartment was just bad! The movers quite efficiently maneuvered through the narrow hallways and had no issues with the stairs. The van was really big. But the movers really utilized the space well. The made the delivery the next day so I didn’t have to hire any storage. I am just so relieved now that I have moved!

Comment : I have seen how moving companies who used to be really efficient and inexpensive in the past have now turned into money ripping machines. Luckily, companies like Atlantic union van lines still exist which charge reasonably and provide good services. My move with them went very smoothly. None of my furniture suffered any kind of damages on the way and the company maintained their timing to the T. Given how efficient they are, I suppose a price hike is inevitable in near future. I'd still hire them though because finding such efficient movers is a rarity these days.

Comment : I don't really expect much from movers as they always tell you one thing and then do something completely different. I have heard stories of movers showing up a week late because a glitch in their system. So when I hired Atlantic union van lines to move everything I owned, I didn't expect a royal treatment. On contrary to my worst expectations, they showed up on time and seemed quite efficient at packing and loading. They drove quite carefully and delivered everything immaculately without really uttering any word of anger or annoyance. I suppose not every ridiculous moving company story you hear is true, certainly not with companies like this one.

Comment : I'm no novice at relocating but it feels like every move takes something away from me. Specifically, I mean some pieces of furniture or a few expensive plates or my favorite coffee mug. I can make a list of things that got damaged or broken in the moving process. So you can imagine my surprise when I found Atlantic union van lines delivering my every piece of furniture, every expensive plate and my favorite coffee mug intact to my new-home-for-now. These guys are amazing at what they do, and they do it so-so-so well. Definitely worth the extra few bucks I tell ya!
