Comment : Atlantic union van lines goes the extra mile for their clients. I can say that because they handled my relocation without any issues whatsoever and in the end all my valuables survived the journey without even a single scratch on them. They quoted very reasonably and the customer service was very helpful. They constantly kept me in the loop through phone calls and emails. The movers were fantastic. They maintained the timings and worked very efficiently. Moving is not rocket science but it is difficult enough. I can’t thank these guys enough for making my move so easy.

Comment : My move was at the worst of times. All the top moving companies are booked months in advance and I was stuck with the crappy ones. I can go on and on about how amazing Atlantic union van lines is but if they can’t accommodate you, it doesn’t mean anything. So I suggest that if you are moving, you hire them as early as possible. I had to call them about 10 times to find a vacant slot and I was calling them 3 weeks in advance. This company is amazing and so there is a long waiting list. I think they are definitely worth the wait.

Comment : Estimate: For the original estimate, we told them we had 2 bedrooms (1 bdrm plus a little in storage) and listed every item of furniture. The original quote seemed low when they arrived, so they looked it over and revised the quote to almost double the original. By the time the truck was packed, it was another $1000 over the second quote, and this was WITHOUT some of our furniture and boxes we had planned to move. Pickup: very professional, some minor rescheduling, seemed to package things well. Communication: we were absolutely unable to contact anyone from the company for about 20-30 phone calls to various numbers when we were trying to check the status of our move (over several days and times). When we left harsh voicemails, we finally got someone to help us. They kept referring to an online moving status function- when we tried it, it said to call customer service. No good. Communication was also poor about delivery, and it was rescheduled many times. Delivery: TERRIBLE. Two days before our things were scheduled to be delivered, our stuff was still in New Jersey in a warehouse. They said they would call when it got closer. We scheduled delivery, but they then delayed again for another day, then delayed that day for later in the afternoon, then were 2 hours late. In all, this was about a week after our originally scheduled delivery date. When the movers arrived, it was a subcontracted company called Uzbek Express. Their English was very limited. They moved everything to the garage, assembled and moved most of the big furniture and several boxes, but then stopped working and demanded that we sign the release paper. They became threatening until the paper was signed. They left, with about 80% of items left in the garage. BOTTOM LINE: DO NOT USE ATLANTIC UNION OR UZBEK EXPRESS!! You will never be able to get a hold of them, they won't deliver when they agreed to, they subcontract to shady menacing characters, they charge over 2 times what they quote at first, things get broken, and they leave the job undone after being paid.

Comment : I don’t know how people even attempt to move all on their own. I could never do it. The stress of relocation wears me out. Thanks god for moving companies like Atlantic union van lines that exist to make our lives a lot easier. I hired them to move all my belonging from my old apartment to my new house. I am very pleased to report that they have done an excellent job. Every little detail was taken care of. The crew was very thorough and resourceful when it came to packing my things, especially my glassware. I was quite concerned about they were going to fit all my belongings into two vans but they did manage to do it somehow. Everything traveled very well as only two glasses broke during the journey. I am very happy to recommend this company.

Comment : We hired Atlantic union van lines for our move after reading so many great reviews about them. I started to understand the hype when I found their customer service to be very helpful and they gave me a great quote. The four movers were very helpful. They took just 2 hours to pack and load everything from our 3-bedroom apartment. The men were also very efficient and skillful. The delivery was made on time and nothing had even a scratch on them. I was very impressed with the movers throughout this moving process. I will hire them again for sure.

Comment : It was such a last minute rush! Our move couldn’t take place at a worse time. It was the last weekend of June and all the moving companies were booked months ago. After literally pleading to Atlantic union van lines, they finally accommodated me in a late afternoon slot. I was just grateful that they were not charging me extra for it. Anyway, the movers were amazing. My old apartment was just bad! The movers quite efficiently maneuvered through the narrow hallways and had no issues with the stairs. The van was really big. But the movers really utilized the space well. The made the delivery the next day so I didn’t have to hire any storage. I am just so relieved now that I have moved!

Comment : I knew that I am going to see some broken and damaged stuffs after the move, which is pretty common in any move. But I never wanted to experience what I have gone through couple of years in a different move by other movers. I never wanted a long delay, plenty of damage

Comment : I have seen how moving companies who used to be really efficient and inexpensive in the past have now turned into money ripping machines. Luckily, companies like Atlantic union van lines still exist which charge reasonably and provide good services. My move with them went very smoothly. None of my furniture suffered any kind of damages on the way and the company maintained their timing to the T. Given how efficient they are, I suppose a price hike is inevitable in near future. I'd still hire them though because finding such efficient movers is a rarity these days.

Comment : I don't really expect much from movers as they always tell you one thing and then do something completely different. I have heard stories of movers showing up a week late because a glitch in their system. So when I hired Atlantic union van lines to move everything I owned, I didn't expect a royal treatment. On contrary to my worst expectations, they showed up on time and seemed quite efficient at packing and loading. They drove quite carefully and delivered everything immaculately without really uttering any word of anger or annoyance. I suppose not every ridiculous moving company story you hear is true, certainly not with companies like this one.

Comment : I'm no novice at relocating but it feels like every move takes something away from me. Specifically, I mean some pieces of furniture or a few expensive plates or my favorite coffee mug. I can make a list of things that got damaged or broken in the moving process. So you can imagine my surprise when I found Atlantic union van lines delivering my every piece of furniture, every expensive plate and my favorite coffee mug intact to my new-home-for-now. These guys are amazing at what they do, and they do it so-so-so well. Definitely worth the extra few bucks I tell ya!

Comment : When I hire anyone to do jobs that involve handling my valuable things, I expect nothing short of perfection. Perfection or not, men from Atlantic union van lines were utterly professional during my move. Their packing skills impressed me the most. All the men were very well organized, taking half the time it would take any other mover to finish all the packing and loading. I can't call them perfect because they did manage to damage a rug of mine but it may have been a result of pressure from my couch and not something done by them. Anyways, they did their jobs very well and these days that means everything!

Comment : Efficiency and cheap don't really go hand in hand these days. However, that's not the case for Atlantic union van lines. This moving company has really showed me that the quality of service is what matters to them than earning a few extra coins. Their men were all very well trained, punctual and extremely well organized. It's not a short route they had to cover. But they handled it very well, I must say. Aside from a broken picture frame, all my goods were delivered intact. Did I mention that they quoted me the lowest- lower than even the shadiest company out there?

Comment : I took a certain decision to move to Concord, NH to Birmingham, AL. Actually I got a job in Alabama and the job was so good that I had to leave my hometown. However, it was not an easy task because of the distance between the two placed and because of the nature of the move. I have two kids. The older one is 3 year old and the younger one only 5 months old and I also have a pet. So, I was not able to guide or monitor the movers. They had to be on their own. So, I was looking for the best in business and ended up hiring Atlantic union van lines. Their sales rep seemed to be a professional guy and he was very helpful too. He made sure that everything remains on the course. Movers came in time and they were ready for the task. They displayed the supreme level of professionalism and made sure that I am getting everything that I asked for. It was a very decent move in the end. There was no delay, no damaged or broken stuffs or no hidden costs. I was happy like anything with the move. I am thankful to the movers and the sales guy of Atlantic union van lines for their great effort.

Comment : Many movers often complain that moving companies had lost their valuables. Atlantic union van lines is yet to lose any of my boxes. In fact, they do the job so efficiently that my belongings don’t even suffer the slightest of damage. The crews I worked with have always been friendly and helpful. Their customer service is always prompt and helpful. They always give me the best rates possible. Some people don’t like tipping the movers. But given how efficiently the movers from this company work, I always tip them heavy handedly.

Comment : I chose Atlantic union van lines because of their glowing reviews. They didn’t disappoint me. I did warn them about the amount of work involved but they seemed absolutely unshaken by it. The movers were so capable and experienced that no matter how heavy things you make them carry, they would do that with a smile. I was stunned seeing how strong and efficient they were. It took them just 3 hours to pack and load everything from my 4-bedroom house. They made the delivery on time and nothing suffered any damages.

Comment : There really is no better mover on the East Coast than Atlantic union van lines, I can vouch for that. I had the pleasure of seeing them at work 2 months back when I was moving. I moved to be closer to my boyfriend and I couldn’t really afford to hire a really fancy mover. But one of my friends said that despite being a big name, this company is actually quite reasonable, and they were! They gave me a very good quote that I just couldn’t resist. They were very meticulous at packing and their vans seemed very impressive too. All my valuables were transported intact to my new house by these magicians. Comment : I have relocated several times throughout my professional life and it’s always hectic. Luckily I choose them for moving. I hired them last time when I was moving two months ago. It was a sudden move and I needed them to send their men on a 2-day notice. Their quote was very reasonable and the men they sent were exceptionally experienced. I didn’t have to do anything. Comment : It was a much awaited move on my part. When I first called Atlantic union van lines, their quote seemed quite high. But then when I contacted other moving companies, they had even higher quotes. So I chose to go with Atlantic union van lines. The best thing about this company was their movers. 4 of them arrived sharp at 7 am to my house. They looked very strong and capable. They proved their worth by efficiently packing up all my belongings into boxes. They used enough packing materials to safeguard the boxes. The loading process went very smoothly and soon they were on their way. When the delivery was made, everything was in great condition. They helped me unpack and assemble the furniture as well. I am impressed with these guys.
