Comment : I will add my stick to the bonfire here. These guys are to be AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS!! And it will cost you an arm and a leg afterwards too. They come in with lowball quote then jack it up with extra time charges and boxing fees. Came with 3 guys, but only 2 guys worked (other dude had to sit in the truck to ward off parking tickets... yeah I was paying for that). After move, found multiple nicks and scratches on 3 out of 4 furniture pieces I moved (I had also over 30 boxes). One leg of my wardrobe was completely cracked off, but they tried to hide it with a massive tape job... but the worst was after they had left, we were missing a shoe rack. We searched everywhere and finally poked our head in an adjacent stairwell OUTSIDE our apt and found the poor thing all smashed to bits. WTH!! That kind of subversive behavior should automatically shutdown your co. TERRIBLE WORK

Comment : The New York movers made a courteous call to me and arrived ½ hour before appointed time and started packing the household items. They were quick, packed all the items in just few hours. It was my second move with them and it was as smooth as the first one even though they struggled at times to move the stuff through our narrow staircase. It was natural and small staircase was not their fault. And they did not make a fuss of it either; rather they were humorous while passing through that way. It made the environment lively. They are the best movers in the town. Although they charge a bit more than other but it is worth the service that they provide. The guys took extra care of everything. The only thing that needs our attention while New York movers are around is having proper cash for payment. They do not take cheque; they ask cash payment for the services. Comment : When I contacted the NYC movers, I feared that they will charge me some horrible hidden cost at the end of their services to me; they will present a bill which will be less of charges and more of a bundle of taxes that I need to bear. On the top of that the guys might ask for an extra commission for the efforts that they will put in. With these assumptions in mind, I hired them for shifting my 3 bedroom home. NYC movers gave me a big surprise, the guys did an amazing job at no hidden, extra and stupid costs as I assumed. All my assumptions fell flat. In fact they charged much lower as compared to the quality that they put in every task which they undertook. Perfection in their work was beyond comparison. Their honesty made me real happy.
