wonderful and very professional experience
We hired You Move Me at the last minute after we were stood up by other movers. Luckily You Move Me was able to schedule us quickly and they came 3 days later and moved my mom out of her 3 bedroom house. Jesse, Brandon and David were AMAZING we absolutely loved all of them. They were so friendly, so efficient, so helpful, so careful, and just really great, stand up guys. It was a wonderful and very professional experience from start to finish and I would definitely recommend them.

Great service at a great price
Very professional, and fast! Josh, Dylan, and Dave arrived right on time and worked quickly and CAREFULLY. I have lot of fragile keepsakes; they treated them as their own, and wrapped them for me. Best of all, they took apart the couch that could not fit through the door and put it back together inside! Great service at a great price! THANK YOU!!

Easy setup, clean facilities and friendly staff.
YouMoveMe was recommended by a friend who raved about them moving his family. The guys showed up exactly on time. No "window" periods (like the cable company saying "we will be there between 8am and noon"). They said 12:30 and they showed up at 12:30. The guys were extremely professional and very efficient. From start to finish they were great. I will happily recommend them to my friends.

very professional, great pricing and prompt service.
I had a great experience with "You Move Me" movers Tyke, Kyle, and Jordan. They were friendly, personable, and did great work moving me across town. They were careful with my things, always in communication, cared about the details, and even set up my new living room to the way they envisioned it while I was out grabbing a quick sandwich. When I came back my new space was all set up and I was so pleasantly surprised to see the ideas they came up with I even left my house the way they arranged it. The move went very smoothly, did not take up hardly as much time as I had thought, and all of my belongings arrived with zero damage. Even my bedside stand and filing cabinet which had things in them arrived in complete order - nothing tipped over, nothing spilled. It really was amazing. Thank you, You Move Me team!!

You Move Me Carlsbad
guys were very nice and they did a good job with the exception
The initial phone conversations went well & everything was set for our move. The morning the crew arrived, they were supposed to arrive between 8:30-9am but around 9am they said they were getting gas and about 30 minutes away. Once the crew arrived, 6 guys, I figured this would be a very quick move since I packed most of the house except the kitchen and bathroom - we moved out of a 2 bedroom 1 bath house. The guys were very nice and they did a good job with the exception of probably 1 new? guy - someone placed all of the framed pictures in a box without any protective paper around them. In order to get the pictures out, I needed to cut the box since they were packed so tightly that I did not want to scratch/break the other picture frames. Another odd request from the guys was water/beverage while on the job. Ummmm, you are a mover and should come with a water bottle and fill it up in the sink. I found a new pack of bubbly water and offered it to the guys. Most of them only took a few sips and then left it out for me to clean up. That seemed unprofessional. The house seemed packed up so lead guy said they were done and asked me to go thru the house to verify everything was packed up. Well, I found 2 closets not packed. Needless to say the guy who packed them did a sloppy job and just put everything into a huge box. Not the way I would have done it. Overall, they did an ok job. I am glad I boxed up most of the items myself. I will note the guy who packed the kitchen did a good job since it was a lot of glass/fragile items.

Do not use this company!! They were super expensive and i got stolen and damage items.
Worst Experience - Do not hire this company I have never written a review but this is a case where you really want to warn others. There pricing and service before the move may fool you, but they are incompetent. They damaged and LOST priceless artwork. But what makes it worse is I have to chase them to take care of the damage and compensate for the loss. They do not return phone calls or emails. They say there is a claim form but they never send it. Months have gone by since my move and I still have no answers. I am going to have to get an attorney to get there attention. So if you do not want a headache do not hire this company

Xpress Moving Vanlines Corp
new furniture all broken in pieces, stratched, really really bad
I moved cross country and they lost a piece of furniture to my armoire and the breakage among dishes was substantial. They did not provide any compensation except 0.60 cents per pound. I would not recommend this group.

team of workers is well trained, polite & efficient.
We have used Ben and his team for multiple moves and just recently needed our storage emptied. It was only a few days notice, however a team of two guys was available to move the storage contents and a bed to our new house. Calling and conversing about the availability was easy and quick. The move was seamless and they worked hard to get everything done for us. A huge thumbs up and will definitely use them again when we need more items moved!!

Weiss Movers & Storage
do not use this company
Hired Weiss to pack, move and store a household. Worst move I have had in the last 13 I have done in 25 years. They packed our goods in old used boxes that were not in great shape. We had multiple broken and damaged items. Worst part of the move was they lost our bedroom furniture along with multiple pieces of original artwork when apparently they shipped a POD of mine to someone in California. I was told multiple times by Wayne he would take care of everything on the claim, but that has not happened. I am now negotiating with their insurance company and likely looking at losing over $20,000. Be wary of them and talk is cheap. Proof is always how a company responds to a problem especially when they are 100% at fault.

Winter Moving and Storage

Winter Moving came through for us in a big way. My father sadly passed away, and we started exploring movers for taking his belonging out of his retirement home apartment back to his old house. To our surprise, Winter Moving was able to confirm a next-day move after I called around 2pm, letting me know that as long as I could respond to their quote via email and provide the necessary information by 4pm they could book it. True to their word, they arrived at around 9am the next day, a Friday. The guys that showed up were strong, efficient, and helped us pack and move everything in about 4 hours. Boxes were labeled by room. They also helped moved some large furniture from inside the house to the garage, as I had requested on the original quote. I do not think I could have asked for better service. Finally, I have a moving company I would use again and recommend to others.

I have used Wiltfong Moving and Storage four times in the last four years. Once as I worked to move a Notre Dame Institute to a new building and three times for personal moves. I found the staff to be hard working, professional and willing to please. I had several heavy pieces to move, including a player piano from a lower level. The crew talked over a plan and worked together to get it moved and delivered up stairs in my current home. A third party specialist was called in to move a marble top. The third party employee broke the fragile top and was very remorseful. I then worked with Steve at Wiltfong to get a replacement top. Steve made sure I was happy with the replacement top. I can not say enough good things about this moving company. I will use them again in a few years.

THE WORST moving experience.
If you use this company, make sure everthing has an inventory sticker. Print the inventory list and then stand at the truck and check off each item as it comes off the truck.

careful, efficient, courteous and very reasonably priced.
I needed a last minute moving company, like 48 hours last minute, after I had to cancel the previous company because of horrible service (thats a separate review). Not only did Jeff and Jennifer give me incredible customer service but then JC and his team of Patrick and Luna showed up and worked non-stop for 3+ hours, caring for my items, helping me with last minute changes and were professional. The bill was reviewed again with me before they left and they earned - and deserved - every penny! They will be holding my pods until I move into my next home and I pray its just as great an experience as moving out was. And thank you yelp and everyone whos taken the time to write reviews for helping me find such a great comaocompany. Update: They held my pods with all my earthly goods for about 5 weeks. JC came back (hes awesome) with his team, unpacked every single thing, I literally was able to just direct them as they came in. Not one thing was broken, nothing smelled bad or funny, they assembled my bed frames, unpacked my mattresses, reassembled my dining table - I had no idea how exceptional a company could be! Wallace Moving And Storage
Moving household goods from storage facilities to home.
Wallace Moving was a great choice to go with when I had to move my whole home but also my printing studio. I have quiet a lot of professional printing equipment, my biggest concern was my Epson 44" printer. Its quiet heavy and one key piece of equipment that keeps this fine art printing company going. They were able to handle it right out of our current apartment and then also put it in the new studio spot which required it being lifted down a hatch to a sub level. They were completely professional and handled the job within a reasonable time frame.

Denise made it easy to get a quote, and book the time and date. Robs crew was timely, and efficient with bringing all my studio amount of belongings from A to B from all the way on the South Side to all the way on the North Side! I packed everything myself, but it was worth the rate for booking the movers so I did not have to do it myself!
