communicated well and did the job good
Junk Dawgs came out and demo our patio cover. Response to inquiry and communication was prompt and professional. Price was not the lowest around, but was reasonable. The crew, Colton and Nathan, showed up on time, were friendly and courteous, worked efficiently and handled cleanup quickly. One minor issue (no ladder, extension cord) but I had both so it was not a problem. Overall, a very good experience using a local company.

On time delivery and confidently recommend
We hired JMS to pack and move my elderly in-laws. With over 40 years of accumulated items, this was no small task. All of the antiques were handled with care. This was a multi-day project and the guys were on time and worked hard. They took a stressful situation and made it easier. They were friendly and professional and I will definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking for a good mover in the future.

I am booking a 3rd time to move some furniture this month They are customer oriented. Customer Service Experts! The progress from booking to moving day is easy. worst service
Horrible. They cancelled the job after not answering my calls about them being over 2 hours late. They never showed up. I got a text from the owner stating that I need to cancel the order because he did not know where his workers were. They were selected from the uhaul site.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING SERVICE I HAVE EVER USED. DO NOT USE. Not only was my estimate way below actual costs; my stuff arrived well after the quoted arrival date. And as you can see from their responses to previous reviews, they hide behind fine print in their contracts to allow for all these grievances and deceive their customers. Despite being assured that my stuff would arrive within a specific time period, Jet Van Lines continuously pushed back the arrival date and repeatedly cited their right to ship items within THIRTY DAYS OF FIRST AVAILABLE DELIVERY DAY.

Jobbers Moving And Storage
no professionalism in moving
Terrible. Do not use them. We finally received our belongings after two weeks. They wrecked a wicker coffee table, ruined an antique table, broke pictures, dismantled an antique dresser (I have no idea where the rest of the parts are and they are not replaceable). The truck driver called to confirm delivery. They first told us June 10th then it was June 11th. The truck driver was told the 10th as well. We could not receive the load because we made arrangements for other appointments that day since the final word from Jobbers was the 11th. The truck driver was very nice and said we were the customers so he would do whatever we requested. He had to spend a night at a truck stop. Then they did not tell us they had movers to unload us and it was a total fiasco. I am dreading opening other boxes, packages to see what else they have ruined. Run, do not walk, away from this company. I would give them negative stars if possible.

Metro Wide Movers, LLC
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Metro Wide Movers were a great choice! This is the fourth time I have moved in five years, and I can honestly say this was the best one yet. Jerrica was so friendly and helpful in getting it all set up, both through phone calls and email, and made me feel very confident in the choice. Cary and Adam showed up at my old apartment right on time (12 noon exactly) and got straight to work. They were a lot quicker at packing up than I had expected, which was a nice change from past experiences. They got the address wrong for my new apartment and ended up being about 25 minutes behind us getting to the new place, but they owned it and took off the proper amount of time from the total to reflect it, and I appreciated their honesty about it. Unpacking took longer than packing up, as expected, but it was still pretty speedy. All the boxes were labeled as to what room to go into, and they did a great job of reading and putting them where they needed to go. They also safety wrapped my television drawers, and properly took apart and put back together pieces that needed to be, such as the recliner and the dining room table. They were polite and friendly, and they worked very well together as a team. The two hour minimum was the base quote given to me, and it ended up taking them about 2.5 hours, excluding the time taken away, and I think that is more than exceptional. If we move again, I will be calling Metro Wide Movers to help.

I hired American Moving Experts for a long-distance move from Daytona Beach to East Orange, NJ. My storage facility closed at 4pm so time was of the essence. Despite some hiccups in the morning (road closure due to a construction project), Sammy and Peter were cool and calm, friendly and professional, when we had to adapt, and have them park the truck a street over. Despite the long treck to the truck, they got everything packed and ready to go in under two hours. We made it to the storage facility just under the buzzer. Would highly recommend these hard-working guys any day.

After looking around for an in town move from Burlington to Essex Junction that required storage for a few days we decided to go with Morways. Very hard working and sincere
We just used them to move from Maryland to NJ. They far exceeded my expectations. First of all: plenty of hands on deck. While most businesses try to save money by cutting labor, MMs seems to understand that many hands make light work. ALL the crew was pleasant, competent and polite. I liked how they plastic wrapped just about everything. They used strong plastic wrap too. Lastly, they do not line haul, i.e. pass your stuff off to another company. They delivered it themselves to our new address. It was half the crew of the load out, but still the same people. So they knew our stuff.

I used them for moving. Second, We also got an accurate quote from them even though we ended up needing a bit more packing help from them and a bit more space. Third, when they came to get our stuff they were fast, efficent and professional. Finally, almost nothing got damaged in the move. Highly recommended

Moving Dawgs
movers were polite and respectful.
We used Moving Dawgs for load and unload help when we moved last month. The estimator that came out was professional and on time. They got back to us quickly about how many guys and how long they thought it would take to move our house. We had 2 guys and 4 hours scheduled for our move day but we only ended up needing them 2 hours since they were so fast which saved us some cash! Everything was handled safely too. The movers were polite and respectful. We also rented Dawg Bins from this company (reusable plastic moving boxes) and I think that also assisted towards a quicker, easier move. I had use them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to all my family and friends. Thanks again Moving Dawgs!

unprofessionalism and rudeness
I work for a moving and storage company and called this company to get a quote for their services for my customer who is moving near them. They answered the phone "Hello?", I had to ask if I was calling the right company. The man on the phone said, "Yes, what do you want?" I should have taken that as a sign to just hang up. I further explained that we were looking for a mover to receive a freight shipment of my customers portable storage box and deliver the contents to her locally. He replied goodbye and hung up the phone. I understand that many movers may not be able to accommodate the request, but the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness from this representative was astounding and unlike anything that I have experienced from other movers.

Run far away from this company. I moved across the country and I had to deal with two other companies besides mega. 50 percent of all my items were broken and much of my furniture was destroyed. I was called two days before the truck was coming and told if I do not take my things on they day they suggest I would have to wait another three weeks for my things. The date that I had planned to get my things after we closed in a house was not held up. Had to ask owners if I could put my things in the barn. Then driver did not know the area and want me to rent a uhaul and truck my things back and worth from uhaul location to the house I did not own yet. I paid 22,000 for this move. The man that delivered my things thought it was ok to get into my truck and move it. He also was ripping boxes and furniture from the tightly packed truck breaking things as he unloaded. Horrible experience.

Horrible customer service.

Do not listen to their estimates because they are inaccurate and will start increasing the price at the very end. So you think you are saving money at first but then it suddenly increases to an astronomical amount. The company they were originally going to send us could not be reached and never showed up pushing our moving date up. The next company they sent had a rental truck that could not fit all of our belongings. When we notified MoverNation they said it was our fault for not telling them everything we had. When we had initially done our estimate everything we said we had the broker told us that that was not important. Well those "unimportant" things add up!!! Plus MoverNation gave the company the wrong estimate. They had estimated 65 boxes but sent paperwork stating we had 30 boxes! We ended up canceling the move and had to fight with MoverNation for 4 months to get our deposit back. Once we told MoverNation we have spoken to the attorney general and our next move was to notify FTC they said a check will be in the mail. Luckily, a local company was able to get a truck to us the next day so we were only 3 days behind on our move.

Robert was helpful coordinating move logistics, and the packers and movers were fantastic. They were efficient, but thorough, and nothing was broken in the move. Andre and his team moved us into our new place and did a fantastic job and were very polite and professional. They even managed to get a triple dresser up 3 flights of stairs and into our new apt for us, which was very impressive! We will be calling them again for our next cross-country move.

Highly recommend
They were on time and they work very fast! And they even helped with a broken sliding mirror at the new apartment. They let us use their large boxes for an loose items that we had which made transporting items a lot faster. And they wrapped delicate items to make sure that nothing was damaged. Overall would recommend.

We recently used Next View Moving for an office move. They showed up on time, were very professional and really nice people. Stephen and George were our lead movers and they were very efficient and careful to not ding up walls and such as they were carrying things out to the truck. They moved our stuff to a storage unit and were puzzle masters at getting it all to fit into such a small space. Highly recommend them!

I updated the flat rate after selling some items, and the new rate was honored for the move with no unexpected charges. Good price, esp for including packing the breakable items in the kitchen. Arrived within their arrival window, worked very efficiently. Wonderful experience with them.
