On time delivery and confidently recommend
They arrived on time and took care really well of our furniture. The guys were very nice and service was fast. The quote they gave us, was exactly what we paid with no other charges. They calculated 5 hours but ended up being 4 hours. Definitely would use again and recommend.

Terrible experience
This is the absolute worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Terrible customer service and they blatantly lied to me throughout the moving process. I cannot begin to explain the extent of their terrible service. Over a year since my move was delivered and I am still fighting with them to get the measly $66 insurance payout for the stuff they broke and lost. Horrible people. Horrible company.

damaged one of my items
Used them for my move in the Summer and the moving expense goes up every time they sneeze. They damaged one of my items and has to be discarded. There is apparently a claim process that seem to not work. Three months after my move, I have yet to get a response or even an acknowledgment about my claim. Run!

disappointing and frustrating experience
I used this company two months ago. I had a couple pf boxes labeled Gifts. Now that its time to wrap gifts, I discovered a gift missing. It was a piece of jewelry for my mom. I did not think I needed to check boxers once move was completed. My may be thinking maybe I placed it somewhere else. No all the other gifts where this with the exception of the jewelry. I am really hurt by this. You save and save to get that one special gift to have it stolen.

I called them a few weeks ago and confirmed over the phone for my move this coming weekend. I called again this past weekend and their voicemail was full. I tried calling from a different number and the same man answered and said that I was not speaking to Daly Movers and that I had the wrong number. He must be the only employer that works there because I definitely recognized his voice. Please please please save yourself the time and do not count of these "guys". They are a joke. I am so glad I did not pay upfront, which no one should do without a contract. A good learning experience for sure though. These guys are the best in the business. From start to finish they are professional, friendly and courteous. We had used them before for a small job and picked them because of the great reviews and they did not disappoint. This time we were moving to another state, so without hesitation we called them up. I highly recommend Daniels Moving This company is amazing. First of all, their warehouse is immaculate and their staff is friendly and accommodating. Second, the cost for moving my belongings across country ended up being $500 less than what they originally quoted me. Third, they had the nightmare of having to back an enormous moving truck down my one lane, curving, hilly private drive that has a ravine on one side and several people coming and going from homes on the drive. The truck driver -- Tom -- had a great sense of humor and maintained a cheerful, can-do attitude, and made it happen without complaining or making us feel bad. I have a lot of antique furniture, some with velvet upholstery, and everything was in immaculate condition. They are the best!

Pure and simple, they overcharged us. The initial quote was $400 and it cost us $850. They charged us to wrap everything, charging for bubble wrap by the foot but would not give us a breakdown of the amount spent on bubble wrap and boxes.

Downing Moving & Storage provided horrible moving services. Recently relocated to Florida and my items arrived completely damaged. Boxes were wet and looked like they were sitting in water for several weeks. Damaged items included : TVs, furniture, dishes, clothing and art work. I was reimbursed (reluctantly) for the items, however, the owner has not been truthful about items that have not been reimbursed. He says they will be delivered or reimbursed and has yet to deliver on his promise. The movers who moved me in were confrontational and argumentative. They did not want to put furniture back together and became obstinate about what they were going to move in. I have moved several times and this by far was the worse move I have ever experienced.

fast, personable, and very reasonably priced.
We used Christian Brothers when moving from Waco to Riesel and they were excellent. They arrived exactly on time, wrapped and padded everything, and had it all moved out and into the new place much quicker than I expected. They were accommodating in doing a couple of things that they were not obligated to do and even helped give advice on our furniture configuration! They were fast, personable, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone moving around the Waco area!
