Ken did an excellent job with a small move we made in Princeton. We rented a truck. Ken arrived right on time with a helper; they loaded the truck and unloaded it at our new destination. I chose Ken because he seemed down-to-earth and did not give me any BS on the phone -- just "this is what I will do, this is what it will cost." He delivered and I would recommend him to friends.

.kad moving and storage
Everything was perfect
This is the ninth move my wife and I have made in 12 years for my job, so I have had a fair bit of experience with movers. Aside from one improvement opportunity for the company, I was very impressed and pleased with Kads performance. The movers showed up precisely on time--literally to the minute. They were friendly and very efficient. The move took less time than I had expected. I felt they handled things safely, and they were patient with questions and a small delay. On the day of the move, everything was perfect. The only thing that could improve was the scheduling and communications beforehand. Everything felt a little loose (but obviously was not, as it turns out.) Phone calls and emails were not returned with much speed. And there was no contract or agreement--just an email confirming we were booked. I tend to prefer a bit more documentation, but I do not want to dock a star because I can be a little bit "type A" about planning around a move. In the end, KAD came through exactly as promised.

Koldon Moving and Storage
Highly recommend Koldon. They are courteous and efficient
We were a local move, so I Googled "Lake Zurich Movers" and hit upon Koldon ... Hired them to pack our kitchen on a Monday & move on a Tuesday... The packer did an absolute THROUGH packing job of all of our glasses, dishes, utensils, etc... nothing broke. THe day of the move 4 hard working kids showed up & banged it out.. very courtious. All in all I was EXTREMELY PLEASED & would definitely use again.

We used Koller to move from our home in Alma to our new home in Ft Smith, AR. They did an excellent job. I had 2 large doll cabinets that were glass on 3 sides, and mirrored in the back, a china cabinet and a secretary that had glass in the doors. I was amazed that they arrived in excellent condition. I also had an upright piano that they had to move, which was very heavy. They moved everything without a scratch to our wood floors. To move all our furniture without a scratch or something being broken was unreal. I would not hesitate to use them again. They were very professional. It took them 9 hours from start to finish and they worked non-stop. Excellent service.

fantastic process start to finish! Rich & Louis arrived on time, very nice guys. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU DO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DO NOT DEAL WITH TONY. We used this company a week ago to move our 2 bedroom apartment and do not recommend ever using them for anything. We spoke to Tony who quoted us 3 people and a truck for 3 hours at $580. The day of the move only 2 people showed up with a trailer attached to an F-150. We were told the third person could not come today but was not given a reason. The movers were not aware that they were moving our washer and dryer because Tony never told them we had several large items to move. Their trailer was not big enough to fit all of our items and because only two people were working it took almost twice the amount of time we were quoted. When it was time to pay the bill we were then told it was $720 for a move that was not even complete and did not deliver on anything that was discussed. Tony was unable to understand that it was not professional to tell customers you were sending 3 people and a truck and then to not send those things. He actually said we were being unreasonable by not wanting to pay $720 for a job that was not even finished. We have had to finish our move on our own. When we asked Tony to do the right thing and refund us part of the $650 we paid, not a full refund but partial to $150, he refused, said we were being unfair and has yet to call us back after consulting his attorney about how to handle the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU DO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DO NOT DEAL WITH TONY.

Kangaroo Movers
Movers were quick and professional.
We used Kangaroo movers to move into our new home and as usual, they were prompt, professional and thorough. They got through an above-average job in 7 hours flat. Can not thank these guys enough for a hassle-free moving experience. Edit: forgot to mention -- they were kind enough to setup furniture out of the box even though they did not have to. Can not recommend these guys enough

quick and professional
This moving company came thru at the last minute when i desperately needed some appliances moved. They made an exception by working a Friday night. They were on time, they were quick and professional. The cost was very reasonable. They disposed of my old appliances at no extra cost. I would definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone looking for movers.

I wanted to purchase a tv and large entertainment center off a buy/sell/trade group but did not have a truck big enough to transport it. I called around to a few places and these people were the most responsive, professional and accommodating. They were able to get me an appointment the very next day and I could not be happier. They wrapped everything up and were very organized. They were careful but moved quick! Everything I could have asked for and more. Great price. Great movers. Highly recommend.

On unpacking we found some damaged items
There was some good during the move but after the move not so good. We moved from Parker CO to Blue Ridge GA. The pick-up was on time and the movers were careful not to damage our belongings and the house. The delivery was on-time and again the movers seemed careful. On unpacking we found some damaged items and that is where the not so good comes in. They did send someone out to fix a few of the items but many have not yet been repaired or replaced. They are great at recorded messages but difficult to get a real person or a call back. We moved in on April 9th and now almost three months later we have not been contacted regarding a fair settlement. We paid full the full insurance coverage.

I put down a $500 deposit after being assured I could cancel my move and get my deposit back. I cancelled my move a few days later and was told they would credit my $500 to my card in a few days. A week later and no credit I called again and was told they would take care of the credit at once. Another week and no credit. I called again and they told me I someone would call me back the next day. No one called so I am disputing the charge with my credit card company.

I quoted about 7 companies and decided to go with Jet Moving And Storage! Mark G. guided me throughout the entire process which is great as this was the first time I used movers for a local move. We scheduled our move for Mar 9th and they called 2x to confirm with us, that was an incredible stress reliever. They tackled our two story (3 bedroom) home without hesitating or complaining. They were fast, careful and were just solid dudes all around. Got right to work and knocked out the job in under 10 hours. The move went perfectly smoothly and I was charged exactly the price I was quoted per hour with no surprise fees or extra charges! Oh not to forget, my girlfriends guitar was damaged by one of the movers but instead they compensated the damage and satisfied her! Will use them again for sure!

Highly recommended!
We chose 3 Men Movers as they were recommended by a friend who used them previously. Their price was fair, and they were upfront about costs, and they got our household goods moved from one side of Houston to the other side with just two days notice. There were no hidden charges. Rolando and crew were fast, professional and polite. Highly recommended!
