This was the best moving company
This was the best moving company i have ever used since i have been moving fom home to home. The movers were on time and courtious and worked real hard. They even went over their time limit with out complaining and did a wonderful job. I would recommend cousins movers to anyone anytime.

Capital Movers
Highly recommended
Can not say enough good things about Capital. I called them in a panic to help my Mother move after she had a terrible experience with a different mover, and Capital was incredibly friendly, accommodating and squeezed my mothers move into their schedule on very short notice. Their team on the ground was professional, fast, friendly and accurate. Highly recommended.

Costly Movers
BUYER BEWARE
BUYER BEWARE! Do not under any circumstances hire this mover. If you ignore this advice and hire them, do not pay with cash or credit card. They will use your credit card for other charges after you have paid in full and long after your move is complete. They will send checks to cover the erroneous charges, but the checks bounce. If you ignore any of this advice and hire them anyway, and purchase the 100% insurance coverage for damage to your property during the move, you must make a claim within 90 days after delivery. The mover will tell you that you have 6 months and will offer to send you a check for the damage to your property if it is a reasonable amount. The check never arrives, or if it does, there are insufficient funds in the movers bank account and you pay your bank the fee for the movers bounced check. The only way you know that the time limitation is 90 days is to go to the Illinois Commerce Commission website which informs you through a "Consumers Guide" that the time limitation is 90 days after delivery of the goods to file a dispute and you will pay an arbitration fee to settle the dispute with Moving Authority Household Goods Arbitration Program.

horrible experience
Unfortunately we had a horrible experience with this company. We had boxes packed very poorly and almost everything on our cross country move was broken or damaged. I would not recommend this company at all. Frames were thrown into boxes, unwrapped and shattered. We are so disappointed and we not called back or compensated at all for the damage.

Bester Brothers Transfer & Storage Company
best moving company
We have used these guys three different times to move locally. They have never been anything short of professional, courteous and patient. This last move was nothing less than delightful. We were less prepared as we lost some time cleaning up after a flood in our basement. Even in the chaos, our movers were everything we expect from Bester Brothers!

We had a great experience with Jeff and Jeremy from Burgess. They have a lot of experience. They were super fast and careful and strong. They were also very helpful in moving stuff around that was not part of the move itself. The move went faster than expected. We would definitely use these guys again.

Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible! Booked the move 2 months in advance and movers showed up 4 hours late and then did not have enough boxes- went to home depot and they still did not buy enough boxes. Packing was horrific - THREW my clothes and shoes in wardrobe boxes- the rest of the items were thrown in my large black trash bags and my recycling bags because they were in a rush and did not have enough boxes or packing accessories!

I had a good experience
Heidi was very helpful and so was Michael. I appreciate that their kindness goes a long way! Construction on Hawthorne Blvd is distracting but I was able to enter safely after the big machinery went past. Patience pays off - I had a good experience once Heidi helped me out. BEST Transportation has been amazing
BEST Transportation has been amazing to work with especially during the uncertainties of our wedding plans due to coronavirus. Nathan has been great helping us to transfer all of our deposits and re schedule vehicles to another weekend next year. The virtual proposal and vehicle timeline makes it easy to plan and figure out logistics for your big wedding day and weekend. We would highly recommend!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. After receiving my deposit, they set up a quality assurance phone call to make sure I was properly quoted for everything that was going to be moved. On day-of, rather than moving my items as agreed, they had hired another company to do so and I was then charged over twice what was quoted, which I did not have. I was forced to send the truck away and am now refused a refund on my deposit despite no service being performed and despite attempted extortion. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Horrible!!! Do not use this company! Their quotes are a lie to get there foot in the door.then charge you what ever they want! The actual price was 700 more than what they quoted. Then I called the company and they said basically Pay it or pay a 800 cancellation fee then hung up.. I filed with consumer affairs.. this company is robbing people and they think they can get away with it. This blows my mind that they are getting away with these things!

If I can give them NO stars I would!!! They are the worst shipping and freight company you can ever hire!!! My stuff arrived like trash, my new furniture all broken in pieces, stratched, really really bad. I contacted the Owner MARCELA ALONSO, she never responded to my phone calls, emails and claims!!! She never picks up the phone, somebody always answers for her. They message is that she is always on the phone, in a meeting, out of the office, but never available to talk! They are a joke! please save yourself a huge headache, this people are the worst ever and THEY KNOW IT!
