Good Brothers Moving & Storage

Having Good Brothers Moving & Storage move the contents of my three-bedroom house to a new location was the worse experience I ever had, mostly due to the rude and unprofessional owner (Chris) and the continuous cigarette breaks from the movers. The move took from 8 am - 1am the next morning (16 hours) because Brothers Relocation truck broke down on the way to the new residence and they had to transfer the contents to a different, much smaller truck, which took several trips instead of one. The owner said he cannot control breakdowns - yes, you absolutely can and should - by putting money into maintaining and inspecting your trucks. The movers did not put some of my furniture back together at all, or incorrectly, even though they were the ones that dismantled the pieces. The owner did not give me a 6 hour credit - he just did not charge me for the 6 hours he was not working on my move! He charged me $1800 which was double what his quote was.

I was unhappy with this moving company. I spoke to the office manager about a month before I would do the move. I asked her many questions to make sure that there were not going to be any extra charges and surprises. She assured me that the cost would be 358 and that every extra hour gone over with moving would be an extra 89 dollars. After the move the moving manager tells me i owe an extra 89 dollars for a return trip. I am on a budget I did not have the extra cash but their tip. They arrived at 11am when my appointment was to start btw 9-10am. The second mover arrived at 12:10pm. They came with out tools -I had to provide them. I did not care to give them tools but I thought that was some what unprofessional. One thing they did well was handle my property well. Would I ever use them again. NO I did not like the service.

Horrible customer service.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I called Got It Moving because two of my friends had used them and had great things to say. So I scheduled my move and took the day off work. They never showed up. I do not mean they were extremely late, I mean never. I tried calling the company and no one answered. Tried calling their Houston branch, no answer. I emailed the guy I had been talking to all week to schedule my move, no answer. I emailed his boss, no answer. So after wasting an entire day and not having time to schedule another company, my parents and friends helped me. The only good thing was I had not paid them yet so I could treat my parents and friends to a thank you dinner with that money.

Flat Rate Moving
Very professional and friendly
Using Flat Rate for an international move -- Elmostafa and Franklin were great with getting our boxes and treasured furniture out of our apartment and ready for its journey. We appreciated their prompt (actually early!) arrival and the fact that they were done in less than 90 minutes, swiftly packing up our loose items with care.

Fast Move Inc.
fantastic moving experience
Fast Moves is great! I only needed some furniture moved to the 2nd floor and Fast Moves sent people out right away. The guys were very fast and careful with my furniture and walls. I am so glad the dressers are now where they belong. The price was VERY reasonable, too. Thanks Fast Moves!

fast and efficient
Fast Moving was able to move furniture for me last minute. The men they sent were all extremely courteous, respectful, and friendly. Not to mention hard working. We finished slightly earlier than expected which was a bonus.

Father and Son Moving-AZ
Excellent Work
excellent experience using Father & Son! Today my mom moved from her apartment in Meriden into her new place in Cheshire. The 3-man team of James, Ryan, and Torray were on time, prepared, followed COVID safety protocols excellently, and were fun to work with. They got the apartment emptied of furniture so much quicker than we thought possible, handling several antique pieces with great care. Getting the truck unloaded at the destination went smoothly and again with great humor and professionalism. Add that to the companys incredibly affordable rates and terrific customer service, and you would not go wrong choosing Father & Son.

Alan has earned my business for the last 5 years (Starting in 2011). I first contacted Alan to move a 1997 Nissan Maxima from Chicago to Southern California. I did not know what to expect being my first time doing this. He told me exactly how it would work, what it would cost and what to expect. Since that went so well I have used him personally a few times and also referred him to my friends/family. Not an issue each time. I have contacted Alan to move about 5 cars in the last 5 years. Prior to using Federal Auto Shipping I called several other shipping companies some were less expensive, some more but none were as professional him. For payment, a small amount goes to him and the rest is in cash to the driver. I want to clarify that I have no affiliation with Alan but merely wanted to write a review for him because he deserves it. He always worked with me when if felt the price was out of my budget and cars were always delivered on time and without issues. If I were to have issues I know Alan would help to rectify it. Car is inspected prior to and after delivery. Thanks Alan, you have a customer for life!

Fast Movers Moving Services LLC
really good experience
Really great experience overall. We moved from a one bedroom place and pretty much had a bunch of bulky things that I needed help to move (couch, 6 person table, bed, two dressers, and a bunch of boxes). I just staged things that needed to be taken to the truck and they did the rest! A bit of a language barrier, but that was no big deal (other staff was available on the phone if anything big arose). Moved to a complicated place to maneuver the big aspects but they got it done! No complains from me.

Flat Rate Movers
extremely nice
Flat rate movers is most definitely who we will be using from here on out! They were extremely hardworking and quick! They were carful with all of my belongings and took extra precaution to not damage doorways and walls as well. We were very impressed with their work. They moved me from a 3rd story apartment across town to a 2 story home in under 3.5 hours AND set up all beds and put furniture is assigned rooms! This is a job that would have took us several days to do ourselves! Thank you guys so much!

Horrible customer service.
I called before purchasing a Groupon to ask about additional charges. The lady said there was only a refundable booking fee. Then the movers showed up and had me sign a start time only. Then when we got to my destination presented a bill for fuel and driver charge. The "supervisor" said the lady who told me there would be no fuel or driver charge was fired and she misinformed many customers. So I was penalized for a bad employee. As well as a rude "supervisor" who told me he company would take me to court for 150$. Save your time and hassle. Hire B&B movers.

Terrible experience
We had them move just a few items for us. Customer service and attitude was terrible. They did not stick to their schedule and did not call about delays. DO NOT give your business to Federal Moving Systems. They will rip you off, pure & simple. I had an interstate move of 340 miles, for which they quoted me a price of $1114.28. They charged an additional almost $700.00, gave me two different weight statements, came two whole days late, pissing off the landlord of where I was living, & some of my boxes never made it to my new home. Their attitude was cloyingly nice at first but once there were problems I could not get anyone on the phone, & the increase in price - surprise, surprise - happened after they had my belongings on their truck. Lastly, they calimed that the $700.00 additional was really a bargain, as it should have been another $1K or thereabouts. Do not use them, just do not.

Our experience with Expedient Movers in Sanford, FL was great! We received an immediate quote that was reasonable. They happily scheduled us for a last minute move. Antoine, Jeff, and Willy arrived on time and worked hard from beginning to end. They were friendly and professional. The crew had to move furniture and boxes to a third floor apartment on a hot Florida day. Not only that, but they successfully muscled a very heavy organ up three flights of stairs!! I am still not sure how they did it, but other companies would not consider moving it unless it was to a first floor. Thank you Antoine, Jeff, and Willy. If it were not for you, we would STILL be moving furniture and might be playing the organ in the parking lot.

Very professional and reasonable price
I wish I could put more than five stars. They did a perfect job. They installed three marble statues in my backyard. I highly recommend this company. They were very professional, polite and the price was very reasonable. They came on time and had a good sense of humor. I was very happy with their service. Thanks again for the wonderful job.
