fantastic customer service
The team at Louis P Cote was the only one that would quote let alone take on the job of relocating a heavy piece of equipment from the garage into the house at my residence. The relocation was done flawlessly with not even a nick to the equipment or any parts of the house. Allen and John were both very professional and did not seem to mind me looking over their shoulder and asking questions while they worked. They were very efficient and you could tell they worked really well together as a professional team. I could not recommend this team more for their skills and ability to get the job done safely and with no damage in very tight quarters.

bad experience
I am a next door neighbor to someone who is using this moving company. The truck that they are using parked in my driveway and when I asked them to move forward a little, one of the workers gave me the finger. Finally, they moved. They have been here 3 days with a loud refrigerated truck and I see them carrying small little pieces of wood one at a time into the truck so that they can prolong the work. They are taking advantage of an elderly lady.

Lonnie Slover Moving
no professionalism in moving
I was not impressed by this moving service. They moved my 4 bedroom house and took all day to do it. Since I had a 2 story house they required 3 guys, but the 3rd guy was at least 65-70 years old. I am glad he was out there moving but when I am paying movers I expected much quicker service. I used another local moving service from CRAIGSLIST and was blown away by the professionalism and speed they had. My only good thing on Slover Movers was that when I booked them, they showed up. Thats a normal issue with movers I have found out.

THIS IS ONE OF THE ABSOLUTE WORSE COMPANIES TO WORK WITH!! Every one in the office is miserably RUDE!! They are completely over priced! Do not do business with them! I will be reporting Todd to the BBB. His staff is even very unhappy with the way they are talked to and treated. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

poor service
I was lied to by everyone I spoke to on the phone. The local driver/mover was late, scheduled between 1-5p arrived 7:30p. oh we cannot work past 8. I will be back 6a, the next day, driver arrived but no help until 8:30a. It was the middle of Covid in NYC and I had a plane to catch. I had to leave before they were finished. 2 large items are missing. Most of the boxes are in really rough shape. It took 2 months to get my stuff (they said 21 days). I have not been through everything yet, but 2 small mirrors broken, leg torn off of wardrobe (placed under by mover to help it stand), leg split on table, another table is in pieces, tape damage. And when I contacted them for a damage form, crickets.

We had the best experience EVER with King David!! Liana was so incredibly patient and responsive throughout the entire planning process and Martin and his crew made our lives so easy on the day of the move. They were on time, communicative, so very friendly and fun, efficient, careful, and overall amazing! Seriously could not recommend them enough. They somehow managed to make moving fun

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
King moving made my move so easy and stress free! From the initial booking to moving day, the entire process was seamless and efficient. Harvey and his team showed up early and made us feel at ease the second they started the job. All of our furniture was wrapped and they took care of all of my fragile pieces. I cannot recommend this company enough!!

very professional in loading
Very good moving experience from top to bottom. The gentleman that came to do the in-house estimate was very friendly and polite. I had a lot of follow-up questions over email and he promptly answered all of them and had good tips for me. The driver and the movers on both ends did a great job and were enjoyable. Overall I recommend them plus their final price was about 55% less than the estimate I got from United. Money well spent.

Moved household from Charleston to Greenville SC
Very well, very good packers. Loading and moving crew very nice and knowledgeable. Only issue was they did not wrap patio furniture with furniture pads and they were damaged by wear marks. Removed areas of the finish. Make sure they wrap all furniture even the patio furniture.

A truck driver came to pick up a container and he was very, VERY RUDE! He drove off, burning rubber, and did not take the container with him. We called the office to talk to a manager and make a complaint. The office receptionist said they were a family owned business and there was no manager to speak with and we could tell her our complaint. When we did, she started snapping at us saying "Thats my uncle you are talking about" and "screw you!" then she hung up on us!!! I have NEVER come across such a RUDE company. We are the customers. Whatever happened to customer service?! Long story short, our container did not get picked up after the driver sped off and they charged us an additional fee for another day of keeping the container, when we called to get them to pick up. TERRIBLE SERVICE!

not satisfied with the service
Very slow. 2 man crew for 1br apt took 5.5 hrs to load up their van (everything already packed in boxes). I had to help them unload and with me keeping pace the whole process took 1hr. Price was quoted around 600, came to 1200 with requested "tip".

I chose Kilroy because they were local an the owner himself "Karl "came to the house for the price quote. He was in the ball park with Casey and the rest . When my stuff was moved to my new home in Florida my brand new tool box was trashed worth 400 . Other small damage stuff too but can be expected When I called ghosted me when I asked for help. Would not recommend again. 1 star. KILROY STILL S... ks tell everyone they are use less. Call someone else.

Do not use this company
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU DO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DO NOT DEAL WITH TONY. We used this company a week ago to move our 2 bedroom apartment and do not recommend ever using them for anything. We spoke to Tony who quoted us 3 people and a truck for 3 hours at $580. The day of the move only 2 people showed up with a trailer attached to an F-150. We were told the third person could not come today but was not given a reason. The movers were not aware that they were moving our washer and dryer because Tony never told them we had several large items to move. Their trailer was not big enough to fit all of our items and because only two people were working it took almost twice the amount of time we were quoted. When it was time to pay the bill we were then told it was $720 for a move that was not even complete and did not deliver on anything that was discussed. Tony was unable to understand that it was not professional to tell customers you were sending 3 people and a truck and then to not send those things. He actually said we were being unreasonable by not wanting to pay $720 for a job that was not even finished. We have had to finish our move on our own. When we asked Tony to do the right thing and refund us part of the $650 we paid, not a full refund but partial to $150, he refused, said we were being unfair and has yet to call us back after consulting his attorney about how to handle the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU DO GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND DO NOT DEAL WITH TONY.

Steve Jr. is RUDE to his customers. I have never in my life encountered such a rude individual. I am the CUSTOMER. He took over 2 months to be available for service, so long so that I forgot I even needed servicing. My employees finally got him to arrange it and he is just a rude, condescending, did I say RUDE individual. My office is based out of Oahu. I have the check book and credit cards to pay here. I am not going to get on a plane today to pay him and I am not going to fax him my checking account information, especially when he is so unprofessional that one would wonder if he is even a legit businessman. He is THAT unprofessional and rude. Just unbelievable. I have never encountered someone so rude in my life. I would not recommend. they did two moves for us...one to a storage unit and one to our home. not all of our items were moved although we described all items we had. this will cost us another few days and few hundred dollar.

Seedy operation. Tony may have some response, but whatever. He gave me a price to move five pieces of office furniture from my upstairs office to downstairs. I explicitily told him there was a desk, two credenzas and two booksheleves - all particle board and very light. I sent him a photo. When I looked at the photo I thought he might feel guilty for what he was charging because it is such an easy small job. Instead, leaving me no time to make other arrangements, he doubled his price the day before the move. Very disappointing to say the least. I am in my 60s, and this is the second time I have ever felt compelled to post a complaint about a company. This company does not stand by their word and has proven to me they will leave you hanging and without options at the last minute. I felt the need to warn others.

Reliable and affordable. I have used him twice. He helped move my daughter out of her college apartment and he picked up furniture for me and brought it into the house. Both times went smoothly. Would recommend for small moves for sure
