Loaders and unloaders worked hard and fast
The team at Huntsville Moving Service is the best moving company we have had. We have moved many times in the military and post military and HMS was the best at planning the move, packing, loading and delivery. We used HMS for a long distance move and yes there were some items damaged as with all our moves they were by far the most efficient. I recommend HMS, they provide professional service and the employees are polite and helpful and take care with your goods. The loaders and unloaders worked hard and fast. It is a family run business and they provided us with boxes and packing material for the items we wanted to pack ourselves.

Hanover Transfer & Storage
my move were incredibly helpful
I used Hanover Transfer for a quick move across the river and could not have been happier. They showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule. The three men who were in charge of my move were incredibly helpful and cheerful throughout the whole process. All my furniture was protected and arrived safely. I have one particular piece that is on its last leg and they were very careful with it during the move. They also came in under what I was originally quoted. I could not recommend them more.

highly efficient and professional
Could not be happier with the move these guys did for us today!!! They sent 6 men and 2 trucks who did not mess around. It rained all day during our move and these guys did not let it slow them down. They accomplished a move of some complex items like appliances, a safe, a million boxes, furniture, and more, from San Antonio to Boerne today in 5-6 hours. Not only did they move quickly and efficiently but they handled everything with care, absolutely nothing was damaged. Moving is such a stressful time and I am so glad we went with these guy for our big move. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Hewes Family Movers
best company experience
I have moved quite a lot, and Hewes Family Movers are by far the best moving company we have ever used. They were professional 100% of the time, they were very thorough, and did not rush the move to get done as fast as possible like all of the other companies that I have dealt with before. I would recommend them to anyone!

High Tech Moving Systems, LLC
shining example of customer service
I cannot say enough positive things about Chrisson, Donald, Sherman, and Chuck. They arrived on time and were super polite. When they arrived I mentioned that we really wanted to get our trailer picked up by the moving company today since it had to park on the street. All of them worked so efficiently that it took less than two hours to move a 3 bedroom house. I highly recommend them for any ones future moving needs.

Hunt Movers, Inc
polite, professional and exacting
Hunt the mover did an excellent job on our move from Wicker Park, Chicago to the suburbs. They were on time to start the move and, when I say they moved with military efficiency, I am not lying. It was honestly impressive to watch. We were pretty much all packed up and I was able to sit in my garden and drink a beer. If there was a downside, the estimate was roughly 1 hour under from actual but you almost always have to assume that. Overall though, it was a great experience and I would recommend to my friends. The movers were polite, professional and exacting. Nothing broke and the pricing was fair. Thanks for the great experience.

Hogan Transfer & Storage
customer service was extremely poor
I used them to move me and had pretty much near satisfactory results from the service they provided. I recommended them to a friend and she had made a claim for a tear in her carpet and stains in several places on her carpet (they put no protection down on the floor) and an expensive newer occasional chair that both arms were very loose after the move. Their customer service was extremely poor. Very poor follow through. After nearly a dozen phone calls and 3 months later she could still not get the issues resolved. We resorted to hiring the work done ourselves and vowed to never use this company again.

Harrisons Moving & Storage Co, Inc
bad experience
This Is by far the worst moving company I have ever dealt with. We signed a contact for the job for a move and planned our cable company appts around the schedule. They arrived 2 hours late took a bunch of breaks causing a unplanned run to the new place to deliver the TV so that it could be hooked up. They miked the time and way went over the estimated time and cost that we were quoted. Since this was at no fault of our own and due to the late arrival of the movers I had asked if Harrisons would consider splitting the difference in the cost with us. They refused. Poor estimate, lazy and slow workers that are likely told to work slow so that they bilked the customer for more money. Bad company would never use them again. I would give zero stars if it was an option.

Terrible, terrible experience. Jim the owner promised all furniture would be wrapped in plastic, tv boxed, pictures boxed, none of that happened. My biggest complaint was he said he was sending 6 guys, 3would stay in the house and 3 would stay out to protect flooring. Did not happen, new carpet ruined. Left clothes in closets. Had to make 10 more trips in our suv the next day.

No respond to my request
The worst experience of our lives!!! A month and a half late getting us our things. No returned phone calls EVER! Do not leave a single voicemail, it would not matter. Literally waited on hold for half an hour one day only to be offered voicemail. The most infuriating company. Steer clear!!!

friendly and affordable
I used George a year later again to move from Pittsburgh to Arizona (the earlier move was my partners). Everything went seamless and on time, I trusted the company enough to actually leave the country when the move happened (my roommate coordinated the pickup and my partner the delivery), and there was absolutely no problems. We even got a refund as the estimate was higher than the load ended up being. I recommend completely.

General Moving Company
Very professional and friendly
General Moving provides excellent, quality professional moving services. They moved me from Memphis to Atlanta last year. The price was right and the service was excellent. The guys that helped out on the move were extremely professional and careful with handling our furniture. I was very impressed with the high level of customer service and most importantly -- nothing was damaged in the long distance move! (yay!!) I HIGHLY recommend this company for all moving/delivery needs. They also provide packing services.

best service ever
Golden Van Lines was by far the absolute best moving company we have ever used Jay gave us our initial estimate and was friendly and personable. He even took the time to use sign language with my special needs daughter! Next the crew, Justin, Rudy, Nick, Keenan, and the other guys, went WAY above and beyond to make sure they took care of our belongings and they were FUN! They even helped us out with extra things, such as helping us load a couple of heavy things into our cars and even helping to remove some cabinetry. Nikki in the office was also fantastic to work with and, in the end, our moving costs were BELOW the original estimate! This is a TOP NOTCH company who truly believes in customer service above all else! I will never use another moving company again and encourage everyone to give Golden a call to help you with your move!!

Gentry was recommended to us through our realtor, and with their competitive pricing, we were happy to hire them. The two kind men that showed up to do the job (on one of the hottest days of the year) worked their butts off without taking any breaks. The end cost turned out to be a bit more than I was quoted because it took longer than expected, but I was happy to pay it because I know the guys truly worked hard and it was well-deserved.

carefully packaged without any damage
Jakob and Devin helped us move and they were both pretty professional guys, the handled all our stuff with care and made sure that everything was carefully wrapped and protected. We only had one box that was fragile but they made sure it was protected on the ride. They were fast and careful, and have reasonable pricing. I had use them again for other moves. The picture is of how they protected the fragile box we had.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We highly recommend General Moving. They moved our business warehouse with very late notice over a short time period. They are very professional, helpful and pleasant to work with. Fair prices as well which was the icing on the cake.

Gentle Giants Moving Company LLC
Very affordable and dependable
I had such a nice experience with Gentle Giant Moving Company! This was my first time hiring professional movers, and I definitely would recommend this company. I was moving out of a studio apartment in DC into a house in Arlington. My two movers, Dex Veney and Dakarai Veney, were so professional and did not waste anytime. They were quick, and also made sure my stuff was treated properly and in the right place. Definitely would recommend!

Guardian Moving & Storage Co Inc
worst experience
Guardian is the worst moving company we have ever dealt with and we have had the "pleasure" of dealing with them twice now. I am not sure how they still have a contract for military moves. They are shady and they steal from customers. They "acquired" a love seat the first time we used them and this time they stole a hand truck from us and managed to lose another box of our stuff. They tried to take the hand truck without putting it on the inventory and when we called them out they added it but still kept it when they off loaded our stuff. Now that we have started unpacking we have found countless broken items and a moldy mattress. How does a mattress get moldy after being in storage for 3 weeks? If the military tries to contract Guardian for you move, run far away!!!
