charged nearly double the quote
This was the worst experience of uneducated, untrained individuals. I should have have gone with ANY other company. I was charged 4 times my quote. Next time, I would just set a match to it all and buy new for the price I was charged.

Terrible claims process
We just finished unpacking our things yesterday and what a surprise, we are missing a number of items : Laptop, Scanner, Sowing Machine, Books, some silver, clothes and a VERY expensive Dominican Cowboy hat, William Sonoma kitchen mixing bowls and equipment. In addition most of our lamps where damaged and a beautiful modern desk I have had for years (and moved at least once without any trouble!) is destroyed. I am heartbroken because it is a one of a kind danish design and I cannot find it anywhere. Stay tuned for how the claim process goes. I am sure it will be hell but I am up for the challenge.

disappointing moving experience
I am very disappointed with the service we received. Do you know how terrible it is sleeping on air mattresses during Christmas, freezing because all of your stuff was packed away with a company that promised us a delivery time? Because I do now. The driver had called and told us he would deliver that Wednesday, then would try for Friday (which he did not). It then showed up six days after the latest possible time point in the window. The group unloading our packages was throwing boxes around and made a giant mess of our bathroom (it took considerable cleaning). I am incredibly dissatisfied with the service. When i expressed my frustration to the dispatcher i was told also how it could be worse and that they have other customers with month long delays. I was also not thrilled that when I showed the driver how items had been bent or ruined he tried to bend them back and further damaged the material. Moreover when I expressed these concerns to employees I did not even receive an acknowledgement of what happened. Filing claims is a nightmare, I have low expectations for ang compensation. We spent over $14k for a service that showed up late, provided terrible customer service and still broken many of our items.

highly efficient and professional
This was my second time using Major Moving Company and would highly recommend them! They were on time, communicative, and incredibly efficient. They moved everything from our apartment quickly but with such great care. Daniel, Sargan, and Amin were truly amazing. They are clearly pros and did not struggle moving anything. They knew how to disassemble and reassemble anything that needed it. I am still amazed at what a wonderful job they did. They even organized my hanging clothes with such care--it looked like the home edit! Moving is already stressful enough use this company to ease that stress! The person who scheduled everything, Diana, also makes it an easy experience. She responds to emails quickly and calls back immediately as well.

Mike and his team were amazing! Very courteous, pleasant, and friendly. They worked very efficiently together and moved our entire house in only two hours. They took great care of our belongings during the move, and were happy to assist with dissembling, then reassembling and arranging our furniture at our new house. very personable and respectful throughout the whole process
Working with MovePro was so simple and straightforward. Nick was very communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. I used MovePro to move some items from 1 bedroom of my old apartment to my new one, including a large TV. Even though I could not meet him for the pick up side of the move, Nick was able to coordinate with my roommates and building, packed everything up super quickly and safely, and unpacked very efficiently. Nick was very personable and respectful throughout the whole process, and he and the other mover both wore masks the entire time they were in my apartment. I had be happy to use MovePro again, highly recommended!

best company experience
They are the best!!! They were so kind and helpful and very efficient and knowledgeable. They had to make two stops to get all of my mothers stuff and they had no problem with that. After that we went to uhaul and uhaul messed up my reservation and while had to figure out what storage unit i could go to last minute they were so patient. Eddy helped me figure out the size storage I would need, how much I should pay, etc. He even called around to see if he could find a storage unit for me and offered to hold my stuff if I cannot find anything. I am honestly blown away by how fast, safe, and kind they were. I highly recommend!!

very professional and extremely friendly
This was my first time using Moving Pros. I typically have used more nationally known moving companies but wanted to support a local company this time. Yondri and Ron were my movers and they were great. The only minor issue was they were running later than anticipated, but they later explained that it was due to really bad traffic on the way to me. Both of them were very professional and extremely friendly. They moved all of my things from my apartment to my storage unit in a little over 2 hours. I could not have been more pleased. They were extremely careful with my items which was important to me. I would also like to thank Cole, the owner of Moving Pros for his communication with me. He kept me in the loop and verified with me prior to my move which I appreciated. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local moving company. I would definitely call them again with my next move!

AWESOME service
Mr. Move gave my family an AWESOME service. From scheduling our move with Belle and confirming with their dispatcher Nick to the two guys that showed up on time (sorry I forgot their names). Everything was moved and they even helped us with reassembling our furniture. They move so amazingly fast! All in all great service.

Mooney Movers
customer service was of no help at all
Our recent move with Mooney Movers proved to be more expensive than we thought! Unfortunately several expensive items were broken or damaged during the transport of our furniture and household items. We contacted Mooney Movers to report the damages including gouges to the top of an antique China Hutch, broken Lamps etc. We were quickly shuffled off to Stevens who l found offensive and disallowed almost the entire claim with a settlement of $120 for what we estimate to be over $1,000 in damages (try finding and antique refinisher for $120). The employees at Mooney offered no help to resolve the claim even though the damage happened in one of their trucks. Be careful who you choose before to move your personal possessions!

They are cheaper hourly however, you will pay for it with long move times and in my case I had to move twice because the truck they sent was too small which negated my "10% early booking discount". No one could put me in touch with the owner to discuss the bait and switch tactics of this company. I had to pay cash on Sunday. No one would give me the tax id no. so I can 1099 them at the end of year. I will 1099 them anyway and notify the IRS of their practice.

packed with no damage and excellent service
We had a great experience with Lightning Van Lines. Three employees ( including one supervisor) showed up on time ready to go. All three worked very hard packing our items so they would not break, labeling boxes so they would go to the correct room and just making sure our move went smoothly. Unpacking at our new home also went smoothly. They did everything we asked and were a pleasure to work with. I have to admit, having read the prior reviews we were hesitant to go with this company, but I am glad we did. I will be booking them again when I move in the next few months.

Lightning Moving will be my go-to movers when I move again! They were awesome. We had things in storage for two years that we had to get into our garage. The movers were very patient with me looking for our pictures that I wanted to take directly into the house with AC. They packed and unpacked the truck carefully, quickly and efficiently. The thing that impressed me the most was how well they unpacked and stacked the boxes in the garage so we have more than enough room to park and unpack. Oh...the best part...their prices are the best of any of the movers I researched in the area. You would not go wrong if you hire them!!!
