Amazing company with amazing movers
I have seen a lot of negative reviews on this company, so I was nervous when they were assigned to deliver my household goods from my military move. But from the second I answered the door, I had the best possible experience with this crew! They were super polite, friendly, respectful with my stuff, communicative. In fact, we actually had fun! I had an enormous amount of stuff (14 crates, 2 trucks) and the crew of 6 was done in less than 6 hours. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but this was worth it! Note - I used Aprin of Rhode Island - I think this is a National chain so maybe other branches are not as good...

Armstrong Moving & Storage Inc
Not one item was broken or damaged
This company lies and scams. They also promise they will never sub contract out the work. After they took over $1200 of our money they passed us off to U.S. Moving systems in N.J. Who then took another $2300 for the job. The original job was bid for $1800. We had only a few items of furniture i.e. Futon, table and chairs, t.v., twin mattresses already bagged up two easy chairs, book shelf and childs desk and about 20 boxes It turns out the two companies are related somehow. I would never recommend Armstrong or their affiliate U.S. Moving systems. These people are crooks. I paid two moving companies for one move. Armstrong told me it was my own fault for opening the door to U.S. It was an enterprise truck but we assumed it was from Armstrong. This was in response that we wanted our $1200 back because all they did was take the call and pass us on. You will be sorry if you do business with them. When I called to complain, they had fired the people who promised me they were on the up and up. Armstrong has a location in Texas too.

poor experience.
Just an update: I was contacted for follow up by a customer service representative who wanted to know how the in town move went. I explained everything to her and she advised that she is sending the information to management and also claims department. I will advise how this turns out once I have a result.

wonderful and very professional experience
Moving sucks! So I reached out on short notice last week to move on Saturday and Todd was on top of it. He was transparent, provided a quote and coordinated the move quickly. Marty and Lawrence were professional, fast and efficient. Definitely would recommend and use again. They made this pretty painless!

New Latitude Movers
These movers were so efficient, broke nothing, super careful with our stuff
I can not speak highly enough about my experience with Latitude. Specifically, Austin and Wesley were phenomenal movers and made a stressful experience (moving!) painless and stress-free. They were short a man as 3 were supposed to show up, and did the work of 3 people efficiently and effectively. Everything showed up in perfect condition, and I they went above and beyond what was expected. They were both professional, considerate, and a joy to go through the moving process with. I would book them for every future move if I could. Customer service was all around great, and I could not recommend Latitude enough. Thank you!

Great experience.
This company made the moving process a breeze. Not to mention everyone from the estimator Matt, the coordinator Sina and the movers Mike and Daniel were professional, considerate and knowledgeable. They made communication easy and were very reasonable. I will recommend them to anyone.

Amazing service ! These guys are real quick and professional.
I used Citywide Moving to move my parents from Burlington to Matthews. They did a great job. Everyone at the company that I had contact with, from the office staff to the actual movers, were professional, courteous and helpful. They made the entire process a lot easier than I had anticipated. They gave me the impression that I was in good hands from start to finish and as it turns out, I was. I would definitely hire them again.

Very efficient. Very professional and super fast.
I used them for moving. First of all the call with them beforehand was very nice, we got specific answers about how to pack things, what we would need for different things, what was easy for them to ship what was hard for them to ship. Fantastic movers, great experience all around
Very impressed with this company although I did not end up moving with them. There was a misunderstanding between myself and the person I spoke with and I was so beyond frustrated that I left a poor review. The owner reached out to me directly and we talked through it. There was error of both sides of the fence and he really genuinely cared to fix the issue and make sure that everyone was on the same page. That conversation makes me wish I had chosen them for my move. The fact that they care so much about someone who did not choose to do business with them says a lot about the company and the owner, Chris. I would STRONGLY recommend anyone and everyone to give them a chance.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
First they showed up late with no mask or gloves. Then when I asked them to pack the breakables, and help pack up other dishes, I told them they did not need to pack the food in the pantry as I would come back to get that. I also told them not to pack items on certain pieces of furniture that were not being moved. But they packed both the food and several items I either did not tell them to pack, or specifically told them not to pack, adding to the cost. They also spilled sand all over my basement carpet, moving a box of sand that I did not tell them to move. They also arrived short handed and after 5 hours I called for reinforcements when the lead said that they would be lucky to finish by midnight. Then after they left, I discovered that several items I asked them to move were moved to my place, but left downstairs in the garage. The final straw was when I went to move my futon in preparation for bringing my cats over, the futon fell apart because it was not put together correctly.

Absolutely terrible experience.
Absolutely terrible experience. They arrived to our apartment two and a half hours late (keep in mind that we had the elevator reserved for a specific time slot which, at this point, has almost elapsed). They then moved our items into our new home. Unbelievable service at a good price.
Best movers I have worked with ever! They were friendly, patient, accommodating, and meticulous. I got a couple lower quotes prior to getting theirs, but I have moved enough times to know that those movers were lowballing me to get my business. One claimed my move was a one-day move! Bull! If I had gone with them, they would have been lobbing my stuff into the truck. It was a four-day move, and Ace had to work their asses off to do that. It was a massive move! Anyway, I have rambled long enough. The takeaway here is that you get what you pay for with movers. Believe me! And Ace provides great value for your money even if they are not the cheapest quote you get. Yay Ace!

Excellent customer service, prompt, courteous, careful and worked quickly
Blake and Sons really exceeded our expectations with our full-house move! The quote they gave us was in the mid-range of what we were given by several moving companies, and their final bill came up just a little under what we expected to pay. The movers were on-time, hard-working, friendly and so very careful with every item they touched and packed/padded. Not a single item was damaged in the move (ironically the only thing that broke was a lightbulb, and it was my husbands fault, lol) and they kept the old homes and our new homes floors both clean and undamaged. I have already recommended them to several of my friends who are about to move. From the in-home quote, to the prompt customer service, and the final execution of the move, Blake and Sons really hit it out of the park for us.

Admiral Merchants
I had a very bad experience.
Admiral Merchants loaded a machine for us in Washington State, going to Tennessee. This was loaded on Monday. First estimated arrival was Friday. That was canceled for Monday, which was changed to Tuesday on Friday afternoon. They said Monday the trucker had no money on his fuel card over the weekend and had to sit so it would be Wednesday AM. We had Crane and rigging here Wednesday Am. No truck. after contacting them we found the truck to be in OK. They made no attempt to contact us. The fact that we had to pay the rigging company to sit for 8 hours awaiting the truck did not even warrant a call from Admiral Merchants. A simple phone call would have saved us several thousand d0llars. I would not recommend them to anyone who has expectations of businesslike actions from a trucking company.

Central Van & Storage
Excellent customer service, prompt, courteous, careful and worked quickly
Central van and storage headquartered in Pittsburgh and operating in West Virginia was a major disappointment. Two years ago we moved two houses into one and the crew from central van and storage were phenomenal. Worked quickly, wrapped the furniture, and were exceedingly professional. Because of that positive experience we choose them once again for our latest move. The crew showed up at 9:00 a.m. And took their first break at 10:15 a.m. They broke one of the sliding Windows on my antique barristers book case. Our armoire and chest of drawers were severely nicked up. They broke one of our box springs and ruined the drawers in our dressers by forcing them until most of them won not even open central van and storage thought an offer of $363 is going to compensate us for damage to $6,000 worth of furniture. Stay away from central van and storage.

BEST Transportation has been amazing
Great service, friendly staff, & reasonable pricing! One of my best friends recommended Atlanta Peach Movers, so I got a quote from them as well as 3 other movers for the unload of my truck. They did a great job, and I was highly satisfied. They took the time to protect my stuff, and helped with assembly as well! Definitely made the move so much easier!!!
