crew works so efficiently
Used Commonwealth Movers several times during the past few months. Had different crews but all moving crews were polite, efficient and knew what they were doing. The office staff was very helpful answering questions related to packing and moving and quick to follow up. Only one item damaged during several moves. Rates are very good particularly when the moving crew works so efficiently on the job. I would use them again and did without hesitation

Countrywide Moving Inc
excellent work ethic
Countrywide is the standard by which I judge all moving companies. The crew here is top notch, especially Eric the foreman. He is meticulous, careful, runs a tight ship, and has an excellent work ethic. i have had the pleasure of using this company for a local move and and interstate move, and the guys (particularly Eric and Hector) are always so careful with my things and so efficient. Frankly, other places pale in comparison. Sadly, Countrywide was not available for a local move within CT so I can had to go with another company that did not measure up. I would happily pay a premium just to ensure they are responsible for every move I have for the rest of my life.

Christian Moving & Storage
customer service was of no help at all
We contracted with Christian Brothers Moving to move our household goods and we did not receive acceptable service. They stated that we would have two of their moving trucks available for our move and their packing crew confirmed this would be the case after they packed our belongings. On our move day they only provided one truck which dramatically extended the time period for our move and resulted in additional costs to us. Christian Brothers responded stating that during our telephone interview reviewing our household items that we did not make them aware of the extent of the contents of our home which is not accurate. In addition, their packing crew packed all of our goods and they were very well aware of the size and scope of our items requiring movement. In addition, our treadmill was functioning without any flaws prior to the move. Christian Brothers needed to disassemble the treadmill in order to move it from our old home to our new home. Upon delivery and reassembly of our treadmill it did not nor has it ever functioned at all after the move. The moving crew acted as if this was not an issue as they were very intent on leaving for the day. I reached out to Christian Brothers about these items and they asked for photos and information which I provided. Christian Brothers has disavowed themselves from any responsibility for these two situations which is unprofessional of them. I would highly recommend that prior to considering or hiring Christian Brothers for a move that you choose a different more professional, responsible, and reputable firm.

I would not recommend them.
I just had an unbelievably bad experience at Chest Moving and Storage. I have never written a Yelp review in my life but I feel like I need to do so now, as a kind of public service. The gist I drove a U Haul cargo van 8.6 miles and the person at the desk, Lori, tried to charge me for 45 miles. She became increasingly loud and rude at one point she brought my partner to tears. I have never had a customer experience this terrible in my forty plus years. I called my credit card company afterward to explain the situation and to get a new card I was not comfortable with the idea of this store manager having my card information. Thats how awful the whole experience was. Please avoid Chest Moving and Storage, at all costs.

I would highly recommend them
After several interstate moves done on our own, I was ready to have someone else do the work. I was afraid that the cost would be exorbitant, but this company was very reasonable. The estimate was almost perfect The packers came when they said and they were done very quickly. Nothing was broken or damaged at our destination. I would recommend Continental to anyone

super friendly and very professional
I have moved cross country 5 times now. This was a super easy and professional move. Nothing broken or damaged. On time with all aspects. Things they packed was done excellently. The movers on both ends were great. This is the 3rd bekins move. Twice I made the mistake of using someone else and each time I was sorry. Bekins all the way from now on.

Very responsive and efficient moving company. I got a quote within a couple of minutes, and when everything was confirmed received an email. The team was very attentive to my needs. I moved from an apartment to a home. I was worried that it would take long although I did. It have many items. The two gentlemen were very efficient, wrapped everything I asked for and met me At my destination. They put every item where I asked without any hesitation or issues. Bust N Moves Moving Company LLC

Very organized moving company. Communication throughout the process was very good. The two young men, Andrew and Carlos, who loaded, transported and unloaded our belongings were professional, communicated well and did the job in what I consider a timely manner. And they managed to move a very large hutch into the basement carefully and efficiently. It is good to see young people with such a good work ethic. If I need to move belongings that I cannot handle in the future, I will reach out to BustNMoves again.

Burris Transfer & Storage
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
I recently had Burris move me. I was impressed that they had such conscientious guys working. They worked hard, were honest and I had use them again. I am old and have moved many times. This was the first time a company moved me in such a way that I can find nothing bad to say about them. They came prepared and started working the minute they got there. They were careful wrapping everything to prevent damage. I am happy with the job they did and I am happy to have it behind me. Thank you Burris. YOU ROCK I appreciate the honest integrity that so many businesses lack. there on time and finished within the agreed time they worked fast but we are very careful handling my property.

Binding Price Moving came through for us today. We to move out company today and they helped move us into a 13,000 sq foot space, moving over 40 employees. I could not believe how fast and efficient they worked, and with an amazing attitude the entire time. Even when they ran into addl work that was out of scope, they took care of it with no pressure. To top it off, they were very competitive with pricing and was flexible to our budget. I would highly recommend Binding Price Moving for any move, big or small.

Best Time Movers
AVOID THIS COMPANY
Used this company once and had a TERRIBLE experience. The initial estimate came out way less than what I was actually charged. There were charges for most moving materials (tape, wrapping paper, even blankets!), charge for transit time between their warehouse to where I was moving out and for transit time between where I moved in and their warehouse and even fuel surcharge. When I got upset with the unexpected charges and expressed it to the head of the team of movers, he left trash in the elevator for me to dispose of.

highly efficient and professional
We did two moves with Blake and Sons in Rockville, MD. Both went smoothly and actual times charges came in under the estimates. The first crew was fine the company reimbursed me promptly for one item that was damaged in the first move. The crew for the second move was much better They were polite, helpful, and took meticulous care with our stuff. They were very careful not to scratch any walls in our new home despite some really tight staircase turns and narrow doorways. They even went the extra step to fix a loose sofa arm and moved two items that were already in our home to another floor for me. I would definitely recommend them.

Big Bens Moving and Storage, Inc
DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES
The only reason I am giving this disreputable company 1 star is because their movers were nice. When they showed up, the price the salespeople originally estimated was DOUBLE, and so I left behind a bunch of furniture behind, and STILL the price was higher than originally quoted. Then, they demanded cash instead of the Zelle payment we had agreed to over the phone! It was Sunday so of course the banks were not open for me to withdraw thousands of dollars on the spot. Also ANOTHER HUGE SURPRISE on the day they arrived was that they were driving to deliver the furniture to my new location that day my new house was 4 hours away and originally they said it would take 3 - 4 days deliver my stuff. So now, not only did I have to scramble to get cash on a Sunday, find a way to move all the stuff they did not take because the price was astronomical, but now I also had to drop all of my plans and drive to the new house that same day! Insane. And when I called the number to come up with a reasonable solution, the sales person HUNG UP on me. These people should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Terrible experience

And then they slap you with a 5percentage fee for using a credit card instead of cash and since they jack the price up so much you cannot pay in cash. I started using Bisson this year when my previous moving company was unable to move items into homes without marking up walls and being insanely unorganized rude condescending. It has been a month now and I am pretty content. I have worked with two different crews and both were on time and very careful with items and my clients homes. The pricing is better than what I have been paying for the past 6 years, too. I know cross country moves are rough, and no company is perfect, but I have found that good communication, pricing, and good folks who care generally make for a pretty good moving experience. I deliver to clients several times per month so this is a pretty important professional service.

Armbruster Moving & Storage, Inc

Armbruster Moving and Storage completed our recent move from San Clemente, California. We had two (2) moving containers packed with our household goods and clothing. Armbrusters personnel unpacked the containers to complete the move from California. John, Linell and Matt, Armbrusters personnel, unpacked the containers in a very efficient, professional and workmanlike manner and placed all of the boxes in the appropriate location with a minimal amount of guidance and direction following an initial walkthrough of the house prior to unpacking the containers. Again, John, Linell and Matt are great employees that Armbruster should be proud of and value.

These guys packed my stuff for our PCS to Fort Carson. So far they have done an AMAZING job. Every thing I had heard about moving had been awful and I was so worried. These guys were on time, nice, polite and very quick. Great job Hope you enjoyed your pizza Wish I had had cash for a tip

I would not recommend them.
I hired the Mastrocco Movers to pack and move me from my one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment two blocks away. I spoke to Tony who was very polite but vague when it came to an estimate on pricing. He quoted me an hourly rate which was two times the market rate but promised more man power and less time to actually move. Heres what happened. The movers are nice. But they are VERY slow. Their hourly rate includes their prep and travel time from Warminster to your location so even before they show up you have paid hundreds of dollars. They took an entire day to pack my other movers took only a few hours and an entire day to move. Yes, an entire day to move a ONE BEDROOM. At the end, my stuff was safe and sound in the new place BUT the total came to over double what the other quotes were. And because they only take cash get ready to make multiple trips to the ATM and max out your daily limit day after day to pay them.
