First time using H Town Movers and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. They responded with a quote the fastest out of all of the companies I reached out to and gave me the best quote for a team of four movers. The other companies I contacted were more expensive with only three member teams. Andrew was extremely professional and courteous helping me book our move and was always available for any questions we may have had. He even contacted me the night before our move since there was going to be severe weather in the morning to reassure me that we were still on. Kevin and his crew showed up exactly at 8 am with a large truck and began working right away. They were so pleasant and hardworking and kept great attitudes throughout the entire move despite how long the day was. Everything from our two bedroom apt fit into the truck so only one trip was necessary. They were very careful and meticulous with our things and disassembled and reassembled both beds. Will absolutely use this company again for any future moves.

Hightech Moving
crew failed to take responsibility
These guys were a nightmare. I was overcharged at the end of the day, they did not pack artwork or antiques correctly at all, and possessions were lost. The movers arrived very late, did not bring the appropriate packing (even though I specifically requested it), and took quite a few breaks. They were so disorganized it was unbelievable. Hire at your own risk and at the expense of your pocketbook. They charged me fifty percent more than the estimate and ridiculous things ended up missing--part of a bed, tiles for a table, a box with pots and pans. Then, worst of all four pieces of art are gone. What jerks. Bad movers--very bad.

Handle With Care Moving & Delivery
pretty good speed to get the job done
Have used these guys twice in the last year. Once to move from Saline to central Idaho, and then back again to Ann Arbor after 8 months, as a family medical situation required our return to be in close proximity to Mott. Seriously cannot rave about them enough. Not only the most inexpensive quote we received (several thousand dollars less than Allied or Mayflower, for example) but the service was absolutely top-notch. Packing, loading, traveling with zero items broken, and unloading they nailed every facet. And when something did go wrong on the return trip (one of the packers/loaders in Idaho lost the nuts/bolts hardware for a bedroom set) the owners personally went out of his way to fix the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible. If you are looking at professional movers, these should be the first guys you call.

Hogans Transfer And Storage Corporation
disappointing moving experience
The driver was nice enough, but clearly the other shipment on the truck was underestimated. My weight was 2000 lbs less than the estimate, and they still left a room full of stuff and did not even offer an overflow. My husband was alone and overwhelmed so he gave the stuff away to neighbors. I complained to Fritz a couple times, and never heard back from him, which is disappointing since I have worked in the moving industry for 20 years, for Mayflower and UniGroup. I will now complain to my HR dept.

Do not do it to yourself movers did not show up, two girls came to move our contents they gave an effort but we had to load the truck more than they did. There was no apology. Our check was cashed immediately after we handed it to them-wonder why If we could rate it a zero star we would.

truly genuine and caring company
Our Home Restoration Project required a Pack Out, Storage and Pack In to facilitate the process. It was a difficult 10-month long job and plenty of headaches. Hero Moving hawaii came through for us at a time when most businesses are in so much turmoil due to the Covid Pandemic. We did have some issues, but Gabriel stepped in and got everything straightened out and we were made whole in a matter of days. It is this type of dedication to customers that distinguishes a mediocre company from a truly genuine, caring company. We are glad and fortunate to have Hero Moving taking care of our needs. They are friendly, professional, and dedicated to serving their customer with 5 Star Service. Thank you to Gabriel and his Team for their help and support. These guys were great! The price was very reasonable, ended up being approx 480 to move my 2br apartment into a new condo with a ton of stairs. The guys worked fast - no loafing - and were friendly and professional. Very satisfied, would use again.

I cannot thank Greenwood Moving and Storage enough for moving me! After being stood up by another company on Friday evening, I called Greenwood and they said they could be out first thing in the morning on Monday (I was not expecting a next day move). They arrived as promised and got everything moved out with a couple of hours. Bill and his crew were polite, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them for your move!

Customer service stinks. Just rude. Website is hard to read and pretty much non functional for actually placing an order without speaking to anyone. Overall, There are far more pleasant and accommodating options out there. Bad business move to have terrible customer service when they are the difference between you and repeat customers.

Green Van Lines were amazing from star to finish! They were professional, respectful, helpful, and made the process so much easier than anticipated for my long distance move. I could not ask for a better moving crew and will definitely use them again in the future. Also, they had great pricing, wonderful customer service, and were timely! Highly highly recommend!

The efficiency and care that the crew from GP Moving and Storage showed in moving my file cabinets, delivering a large recliner and removing a treadmill from a difficult-to-access second floor bedroom was amazing! From my initial contact with their office to the actual move day - they deserve more than five stars! I would definitely recommend them for any moving projects!

Gold Coast Moving just assisted me with my move and I have to say they completely changed my moving experience. Moving always sux but they will seriously cut your stress in half. Had it not been for them, I would be sore, unorganized and probably still moving. They definitely saved me big time. I posted about them on my Facebook so that my friends and family would know about them, but I think everyone else should know about them as well, so I decided to post on my Yelp account. If you are moving, you HAVE to use Gold Coast Moving. You will be a very happy customer. They have an awesome staff that does an amazing job. They are super quick but very respectful of your belongings (regardless of the Negative Nancy below). Shout out to GOLD COAST MOVING

Genius Solution Movers
I would not recommend them.
Using GS movers was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. 1st, they were late. 2nd, they were careless in packing things into the truck. 3rd, they billed me for the 30 minutes they took to stop at a gas station and buy beverages. 4th, and most importantly, MY COUCH WAS DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THESE MOVERS. My microfiber couch was torn during the moving process. Yes, it is unusually large and an odd shape, but they did not use anything to protect the couch while squeezing it through the stairwell. They damaged the couch, which I cannot afford to replace or fix. The company will not pay for any damages and I still had to pay full price for the movers. Yes, the movers themselves were nice- but idiots that cost me my couch! I would give them NEGATIVE stars if I could

disappointing and frustrating experience
I used their services today and had a awful experience the movers took an extremely long time to load, left many things because they packed the truck very inefficiently. When we got to my new place we had to help unload and my friend with me had to crawl up my steps to help support my washer and dryer being moved. They left with half my truck still loaded and I had to hire a second set of movers to finish unloading. They left my bed slats in my bedroom at my old apartment claiming they could not get them out of room, neglected to tell me this till they were closing my truck. When I went back this evening to my old apartment I was able to get my bed slats myself although they will not fit in my car which is why I hired movers and a moving truck. Also found out when my second movers were unloading my truck they bent my entire frame. This was an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience

Five-star service all the way
The entire moving experience was great. As it was a small local company, the services were excellent and they had a personal touch to their services. The person who is in-charge came over to my place to give an estimate which was unlike other moving companies who use phone and email. A couple of my friends who intend to move have already taken their number.

Golden North Van Lines has been the official moving company of the American Cancer Society Anchorage Wine and Food Festival for the past 2 years. Each year, the staff of Golden North not only move all of our supplies from the office to the event venue and back, but also deliver oversize auction items to the homes of successful bidders following the event. Each year, bidders who receive home deliveries take the time to call us and let us know what a great job the Golden North staff did. The Golden North team is incredibly competent and friendly, and continues to go the extra mile. I truly wish there was a 6 star rating

Guardian is the worst! We have moved 12 times in our 16 years in the army. I have never experienced service like we did over the past three days. They did not do a survey of home prior to arriving, and therefore came unprepared. They did not have packing materials. They arrived late all three days. The first two days they arrived HIGH on pot! My entire house smelled so bad. Not to mention that being high caused them to walk around doing nothing for hours. Literally nothing! None of my items were wrapped. I opened three boxes of glassware thrown into boxes without a single piece of paper. My furniture was not wrapped. I had glass shelves that were just put in the truck unwrapped. I am furious Military people, when you set up your movers you can put down companies you DO NOT want. Do not let them touch your things So rude and disrespectful

Ft. Dearborn Relocation
Excellent Work
My experience with Fort Dearborn was phenomenal. The movers came on time and the entire move was organized. Debra was the lead person over the move after booking it with Carl. She was great. She was very patient and knowledgeable as I was nervous about moving my things from Illinois to New York. From my experience, people who had issues may not have organized their move very well. I did a partial pack and I had everything packed, labeled, and ready to go. When my items arrived in New York, the movers were patient as we marked off each item. They set everything up that was broken down in Illinois. Out of my 146 pieces, three things were broken and they were all small things. I even received a refund in the mail because my weight was way under the estimate. Moving is an emotional task, but Fort Dearborn made it easy for me. 10 stars

Farley Brothers Moving & Storage, Inc
fantastic moving experience
My family and I just recently moved from Lancaster Ca. Across country to Virginia and we used Farley brothers moving company from the free quote they came to my house and gave us to all the way up to the day my stuff was delivered they took the best care of everything terry made me feel as though she was taken care of a family member or friend when she was dealing with us she put my mind at ease all the way through and she is so sweet I am not 100% sure that she does not bleed honey lol and they gentle men that came from her company to help move were friendly and fast and took great care of all my things I would recommend if you are moving local and long distance using this company they were great eased any fear I had of using a moving company thank you so much Farley brothers crew
