Absolutely terrible military move experience. Jewelry and collectibles were stolen, several things broken and boxes missing upon delivery. This was the first move I had done and did not know what to expect. I now move my own stuff as a result of the poor experience I had with this companys service.

Troy and James were amazing They got the job done so quickly and efficiently, but they also asked small questions along the way that made the unpacking afterwards so organized and helpful. I felt like they were there for us and wanted to make it as flawless as possible. They were kind, respectful, quick and personable. I have had some BAD moving experiences in my life and this was by far the best. They also sent Ryan out for a free in home estimate to start this process and that made me feel like the team was going to be prepared and informed about our move. Their owner Derek was the one who actually reached out to schedule with me and was kind and helpful too Would highly recommend Get Your Move On to anyone

Great experience with the team that moved me during COVID. Moving is already stressful, but doing it during COVID was even more stressful. Thankfully I worked with a great moving company that made me feel safe and confident. They did a great job they were quick, clean, friendly and soooo careful with my belongings. They wrapped and packed everything, nothing broke, no issues, no dramas. Happy client Priced was definitely fair and competitive.

Our parents moved from their home of 45 years in Bakersfield to a flat in San Francisco. The movers were on time, ahead of schedule, great packers no damaged items, courteous and friendly. The job actually came in under estimate. We could not ask for more and highly recommend this group

Great American Movers
not satisfied
The movers who came were professional, but a little unprepared. They had a hard time figuring out how to put furniture pieces together. They were suppose to also unpack the boxes but did not and told me to call when I unpacked everything and wanted the boxes picked up to be discarded. 3 weeks later and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone to pick up all these boxes. I have left messages with my contact info and have not heard back. If they are suppose to unpack, insist that they do so otherwise you will be responsible for discarding the boxes.

Save yourself time and stress by getting some other movers. This company seems too busy for you, I tried calling the agent many times but can never reached her and she does not return your calls. I believed this is a military mover company so they do not have time for civilian moves. I called the office and have some questions to ask but they seem like I was bothering them.

worst experience
This was THE worst experience I have had with a moving company. Many of my things arrived broken and packed wrong. The packers were slow and missed an entire 2 rooms and left artwork on the walls. It was so much stuff left undone that on the actual moving day our wonderful driver had to call them back. The packers also mislabeled boxes which caused the movers to put the mislabeled boxes in the wrong rooms. I had to file a claim to get things I have had for YEARS replaced. These items have been packed and moved at least 4 times as we are a military family. I have never had one broken item during these moves. The packers were downright horrible.

Gentle Movers Boston

I recommended Gentle Movers from a pretty positive experience from last year. This year however they made my moving experience and the people I recommended them to a horrible experience. On top of taking A LOT of breaks which they charged for, they did not bring their own tools, they would carry very little at a time carried one broom, they gave up on getting our couch up the stairs which we later got up the stairs ourselves. Then at the end, they could not figure out how to operate their truck so they charged us for the time it took them to figure out how to close it. They destroyed the walls in our stairway as well as multiple items WHICH THEY DO NOT REIMBURSE FOR even though its stated in the contract that they would. The management was extremely rude when we tried to communicate with them everything that had gone wrong.

Ferguson Transfer & Storage
Great moving experience
Great moving company They took the time to carefully wrap all of my items to ensure that they were not damaged when in storage a year ago. I recently had a military move from one side of town to another. I was left without a bed for three nights due to military movers picking up all items on a Thursday and not delivering until Monday. So after sleeping on the floor for 4 days due to military mover delays, the military movers would not assemble the king bed put into storage by Ferguson the previous year. So, I called Ferguson and the following day they assembled my bed and other items left unassembled by military movers. for a very small fee.

Family Movers have moved 2 very large storage units filled to the top, to my new home. I cannot congratulate these movers for a big job well done more than that. The guys were fabulous, friendly, efficient, kind, helpful and worked very hard until the job was done. Marcus and Ray were fabulous, very good, and careful workers They even fixed a problem from the last movers I had. The whole team of Family Movers from management to the movers themselves Is very professional and very nice. I have no hesitation in recommending Family Movers Express for your next move.

Father & Son Moving & Storage

We have done 3 moves now with Father and Son. They are reliable, reasonably priced and professional. They were able to provide the certificate of insurance that the HOA rules required for the condo move. The movers were very nice and very efficient. For one move, we had an extremely tight timetable closing escrow in 14 days during a time when all movers seemed to be booked for weeks. Michael was able to work some magic and find us a crew for a few hours to get the things that we needed to move out of the unit to clear it for the sale. They even helped us drop off the items to more than one location. They will definitely continue to be our first call whenever we need to have things moved.

Very professional, efficient, and just all around awesome service. They were able to complete my move with just a days notice. Pricing was very affordable compared to other local moving companies. super friendly and very professional
I moved from a 2500 square foot home to a 1300 square foot home with an unfinished basement and these guys made it as easy as possible. I moved back in August of 2014 and have been meaning to write a review and have been putting it off.
