Terrible experience all around!
Hired this company to move my belongings and it was a complete nightmare from A-Z. They sent me two guys who reeked of body odor and cigarette smoke, who then completely failed to mention that they had damaged several furniture items. They also left their tool bag at the previous apartment as well as at least one large duffel bag of my personal belongings on the truck, that I was unable to retrieve. Called the company at least 5 times leaving several messages and never received a call back. Use a different company. Not worth the headache.

Quick and careful moving is great.
We just finished a rather complicated move with the expert help of Chris and Marshall from Steel City Movers. We could not have asked for better- from the estimation and coordinating to the final move. Our guys were friendly, professional, and efficient. Recommended 100 times over. They are the best.

A great experience!
These guys are the best. This was my second time using them. They had come recommended by my friend who has used them for several moves in the past. The crew is sweet, polite, accommodating and patient. They wrap or box everything or you can save some money and time and have all boxes ready to go when they arrive. You are provided with boxes and paper by the company. They actually came early as I had requested on moving day. A great experience!

Skybox Movers
I have had a great moving experience.
Skybox movers were fantastic! Matt was quick to respond and fit my move in on very short notice. Even though the movers got lost and were a little late, they still moved everything I needed quickly and efficiently enough for me to get to work in the afternoon; they even offered to load more of my stuff that I had finished packing while they were there! They came in an hour UNDER the estimate, despite sweltering heat AND gave me a discount for their tardiness. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the Philly area.

Very professional, courteous, and conscious of our needs.
Very professional at all points of the process. And, the movers were very nice, flexible, and respectful. I even was allowed to save money by bringing my own boxes. They really knew how to communicate clearly and follow through with the highest standards.

Royal Alaskan Movers
FANTASTIC, OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE!
The experience I had with Royal Alaskan Movers could not have been better. I had to coordinate from out of state, never met anyone with the company and everything they told me was absolutely true (costs, move date, picking up items from different sources, storage of items). When the furniture was delivered, it was wrapped an packed just like Rod said it would be and seeing it was better than I expected. They unloaded the truck fast and carefully. Rod and everyone I spoke with were so helpful. I hope to never have to move again, but I am certainly recommending them to anyone who needs a great moving company!

Ready Set Go Moving Services
Excellent service. Really nice guys.
Dwan and Mark did an amazing job! Everything came arrived as it was supposed to and they were extremely accommodating when our move-in time was moved on us mid-job. They had great attitudes and treated our belongings with care while still moving quickly. This was by far my most positive moving experience. I can not recommend these guys enough!

Reliable Moving
They were gentle, considerate, strong and fast.
Arrived on time, loaded and unloaded the truck with lightening speed. There is no way we could have done it faster than the two guys who showed up. Seriously, they came in the morning and we were done by lunchtime. I have recommended these guys three times in the 2 weeks since we moved. They rock!

Ramar Moving Systems, Inc
We had a horrible experience with Ramar.
We had a horrible experience with Ramar. The crew who moved our furniture out were friendly but took little care in looking to see that boxes were marked fragile and these were treated if they contained plastic items. We had an unfortunate bad experience that our house buyers backed out of settlement an hour before closing and we had to have our furniture moved back into our house. This is where the real nightmare began. The crew had to unload our furniture and boxes from a tractor trailer back onto another truck and then bring back to our home. They threw boxes around and broke multiple items, broke antique furniture, put scratches and gouges in our dining room bedroom and living room furniture and even dented the weights on our grandfather clock. We contacted Ramar and the president of the company sent us an email asking about our concerns but after receiving them never bothered to respond in anyway. We would NEVER use Mayflower and especially Ramar in the future and would NEVER recommend them to move anything for anyone.

Awesome company! Very professional! Roosevelt, Greg, and Junior were amazing.
Made a stressful anxious day easy and efficient. Roosevelt, Junior, and Gregory were on the job. They were quick, thorough, explained everything to me and had some good stories to tell as well. They will lie to you to get you to hire them and then once they have your stuff the price they gave you will sky rocket. Andre and Willie did an excellent job moving large pieces of furniture in our home. They were very respectful, efficient, and careful, always happy to do anything extra requested. They even moved three heavy, loaded shelving units across the room without anything falling off the shelves. My husband and I were happy with the customer service and the timeliness of scheduling our move date. All information was spoken on the phone and sent through email, and the drivers called 20 minutes before their arrival time, as promised. The movers did an excellent job!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER (job done 2.15.16). I needed a company to pick up a Serta queen size luxury firm mattress (13 thick) & an adjustable base in Moreno Valley. Total weight was estimated around 500 lbs. 1st place quoted a 400 estimate based on how long it would take them to pick up & then set up the bed. SAY WHAT!!! Signed on to Yelp, did a quick (no pun intended) review of movers in Hemet, find these guys, called & within a matter of minutes the job was set & at a cost savings of 60. WOOHOO indeed!!! :o) On pick-up day they had a hard time finding the Serta Warehouse & called to get directions. No problem, since I am directionally challenged & had a hard time finding them a couple of days earlier even with a GPS. Pointed them in the right direction, told them their contact would be out front & they got the items loaded into the truck. They called when they arrived so I could open the gate & proceeded to haul that humongous mattress & base up two flights of stairs (7 steps each), around a tight corner, to a square end outside unit apartment with not a whole lot of space in front of it. The mattress had to be rested on my loveseat while they (both delivery men & the boss, who they called a little later) maneuvered the adjustable base into the bedroom, hooked up the electrical parts & then set it on the queen size bed frame. Once the base was done, it took all 3 to lift that huge mattress & get it settled correctly on the frame. We tested the remote to ensure everything was in working order & they were out the door to their next J.O.B... I apologize for not remembering names, but EVERYBODY was pleasant, professional, very careful in an extremely tight space (the total apt is 495 sq ft) & made sure things were set the way I wanted them. I know this was not the easiest of jobs & probably not the hardest, but I can tell you it took a lot of MUSCLE, PATIENCE & PERSPIRATION to get it done!!! Thank you so much for everything. I will keep the company in mind when I find that new apartment in Escondido/San Marcos.

Got a quote over the phone and a confirmation by email for 399 for 4 hours for a local move. Guys did a great job during the move. But at the end I was billed for an additional hour. Office guy said the quote I got was a typo and their real rate was 399 for 3 hours. Deceptive advertising or just plain liars, can not tell, but I will never use this company again.
