Comment : Blake and Sons really exceeded our expectations with our full-house move! The quote they gave us was in the mid-range of what we were given by several moving companies, and their final bill came up just a little under what we expected to pay. The movers were on-time, hard-working, friendly and so very careful with every item they touched and packed/padded. Not a single item was damaged in the move (ironically the only thing that broke was a lightbulb, and it was my husbands fault, lol) and they kept the old homes and our new homes floors both clean and undamaged. I have already recommended them to several of my friends who are about to move. From the in-home quote, to the prompt customer service, and the final execution of the move, Blake and Sons really hit it out of the park for us.

Comment : Consider hiring Affordable moving systems if you want to have a smooth household move. I was moving a long distance and the entire process seemed rather complicated at first. Our communication was amazing; they kept me informed about each stage of the process all along. I have already used their services before and at this point I can say that I am their loyal customer. The moving crew was very knowledgeable and skillful and their friendly attitude was very impressive. My move was completely trouble-free and they did a great job! They took care of my belongings like they were their own and nothing was damaged in the end. Thank you so much!!

Comment : Stay far, far away from Blake Enterprises! We had contracted them for a move on July 18, 2011. We had an estimate and confirmed contract in hand and I took the extra step of confirming the week before. On Sunday evening at 5:30 I received an e-mail from Tony the "solutions expert" from Blake stating that they were cancelling the move the next day because of warehouse problems, sorry for the inconvienance. I immediately tried to call, no answer, sent e-mails, no reply. Luckily Gentle Giant Movers came through. I have never seen such an unprofessional way to do business and please save yourself the same agony we went through and do not use Blake Enterprises.

Comment : We did two moves with Blake and Sons in Rockville, MD. Both went smoothly and actual times charges came in under the estimates. The first crew was fine the company reimbursed me promptly for one item that was damaged in the first move. The crew for the second move was much better They were polite, helpful, and took meticulous care with our stuff. They were very careful not to scratch any walls in our new home despite some really tight staircase turns and narrow doorways. They even went the extra step to fix a loose sofa arm and moved two items that were already in our home to another floor for me. I would definitely recommend them.
