They quoted $4K - showed up and packed half of my stuff and then said it would actually cost $10K - and if I didn't pay they would drive off and impound my belongings.
I finally had to go get a UHaul and find friends to pack the other half of my belongings. I certainly didn't expect to have to move myself.
I was held hostage the entire day. They even told me it was "the law" that I had to pay in full before they emptied the van. I finally had to pay them $6K to get my belongings back. Ironic that they would say the "law" was on their side.
I find it very interesting that they highly incentivize cash payment too. Their fee structure seems very shady to me.
If this has happened to you too, please contact the attorney general and support legal action to put these guys out of business.

At first I was reserved towards their website, as it was overly promotional. But after I used Victory I knew what all the positive reviews online were about - they were on time, they didn't scratch the walls of my new apartment, they knew how to handle the heaviest of stuff that I had. Most of all, I was happy that they kept my antique Italian marble table in one piece. Recommended for local MD moves, you CAN rely on these guys!

Victory Van Lines offered me the smoothest move I have ever experienced! First of all, they were on time. They didn't overcharge me, they didn't try to push some hidden fees on me (like another company tried to when I had to move a couple of years ago). They were completely reliable and very professional about every detail of their job, from the packing to the unloading, everything went smoothly, and all of my stuff arrived undamaged. The fees I payed were even lower than I expected, so this is my way of saying "thank you" to the crew at Victory Van Lines!
