VT Moving
HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We had a great experience with Vermont Moving & Storage. They were prompt, friendly, and very careful with our belongings. In addition, they came in slightly under their time estimate and saved us a few dollars. Thats rare. I highly recommend them.

VIP Van Lines & Storage, Inc
good company
VIP Van lines we are great. They showed up on time and took very good care of all of my belongings. They did not break one item. There were no scuffs or scratches on any of my furniture. They put covering down for all of the hardwood floors which were not damaged with all of the heavy furniture. I really appreciated how careful they were moving everything. I will use them again if I move.

Valley Wide Moving Company
professional team members.
I have used Valley Wide Moving two times to move a large house in Bethlehem and then several months later to move my son into an apartment in a high rise in the city. Both times Valley Wide Movers made a huge positive impact. Dano, the owner, does what he says he will! I highly recommend working with Dano anytime you are looking for a mover because he has high integrity and hires professional team members.

disappointing moving experience
Many items were broken by the movers but the worst was our marble base to our marble table. The movers told us it would be covered by insurance so we ran around and got a price to replace it (even though it would never completely match). the cost would be $1600. Von Sydow gave us $54. We could not Afford to pay for it by ourselves so we came up with a cheaper option of wood pedestals that were approximately $600 and ask them to cover that cost feeling that we were the ones compromising in this whole situation. They refused.

worst experience
These guys really should not be in business. They broke and damaged several items and said it was due to the way they were packed. They were the ones that packed it! I hired them for both moving and packing. Several things ended up missing (tools, etc). Just a really bad experience and do not deserve your business.

Unity Moving
efficient with positive energy
I had a small emergency after moving cross country and was not able to unload all of the heavy items! I stewed over it for the weekend trying to figure out how to solve my problem. With time, and the Uhaul contract, running out I found Unity Movers and called them Monday morning. They were at my door within 2 hours of the call and finished my unload for me! They are SUPER NICE, very courteous, and I am so thankful. I would recommend them to any and everyone!!!!

Great move, very reasonable cost
Aaron and team did a fantastic job with our move. We got ourselves into a bind with our move out date changing, during a really busy season and needed to find a new mover very last minute. Velocity was able to accommodate. I will admit that I was a bit nervous rushing into it, but immediately Aaron and team put my worries at ease. Great move, very reasonable cost. Will book again when the time comes.

United Royal Van Lines

My entire family was delighted with the services of United Royal Van Lines during our move. From the very beginning to the end, we worked with very friendly and helpful guys. Their dedication to the work plus their unmatched skills was on show as they managed to get the job done within the set timelines despite having to deal with unforeseen circumstances (the sofa and the bed were too large to pass through the door). I regard these guys as a genius because they were able to disassemble skill fully the items that needed to be disassembled. They expertly wrapped everything, loaded them into the truck very artistically and upon delivery, they took it as their responsibility to reassemble the things they had disassembled. By the end of the move, everything was perfectly in its place. Everybody at United Royal whom we interacted with including the moving coordinator Arthur had a good sense of humor and it transformed the moving from being stressful to being enjoyable. When the truck carrying our things was caught up in a traffic jam, they handled the situation very skill fully and maturely. They were able to navigate through the situation without stressing us because they are very good communicators and called from the office to update us about the progress. Even with such difficulties, URVL were still able to deliver our stuff on time and us thus we had absolutely no time to start stressing over the safety of our things. When it came to payment, this is where we were surprised, in a good way! Their charges were very reasonable and very low compared to other movers. When compared to the quality of service that we received, the pricing was way below what we had expected. My husband was very happy to get such quality work at such a low price, our children were happy to have their things at the other end and I was particularly for the timeliness of the delivery because I was reporting to work the day after. Highly recommendable.

poor experience
I used this company two months ago. I had a couple pf boxes labeled Christmas Gifts. Now that its time to wrap gifts, I discovered a gift missing. It was a piece of jewelry for my mom. I did not think I needed to check boxers once move was completed. My may be thinking maybe I placed it somewhere else. No all the other gifts where this with the exception of the jewelry. I am really hurt by this. You save and save to get that one special gift to have it stolen.

bad experience
I called this company because I thought they were local. I received a call back from a foreign individual who went over my move from Mastic Beach to Central Islip with overnight storage, I was told it would be 595 for 3 men 5 hours and an additional 65 for overnight storage. I agreed to this estimate and told the boss that I needed the truck at 12 noon on Tuesday and delivery at 3 pm on Wednesday, he agreed to this timetable. The truck did not show up until 7 pm on Tuesday and it was a company from Brooklyn! They hurriedly loaded the truck in 2 hours. They then showed up for the delivery at 7 pm instead of 3 pm. All my boxes that we meticulously packed were crushed, my bedroom set was destroyed( see photos) , the mirror on my dining room hutch was smashed! (See photo) and to top it all off I was told my bill was 1100 and payable in cash only before they would unload the truck! Repeatedly called the boss and he refused to pickup the phone. The crew of 2 men spoke very little English and just said they are only workers. I should add that prior to agreeing to this move I asked if they were licensed and insured and was assured they were! I am presently taking them to court and reporting them to the DA fraud division. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UAC IS A FRONT FOR THESE FLY BY NIGHT MOVERS!

They gave her a quote and said it would not change. Once they arrived on the day of the move they changed the quote by thousands of dollars and gave her a new agreement. At that point it was too late to find another company so she was forced to move forward at almost double the original quote. They did not drive her belongings to CO and instead dumped them in a warehouse. No status updates for weeks and no calls returned. When they finally arrived, they wanted cash and they were only willing to put everything on the main floor unless she wants to pay thousands more on the spot. These people are horrible and if you research the owner, he has been sued several times over the years (LA County public records) and has had more company names than you can count. On top of all of these problems, several boxes were opened and rifled through, items stolen and there were more than 15 pieces of furniture damaged. They refuse to do anything to resolve the issues.

Very professional and friendly
I used Titan two years ago and they were a no brainer for this move! They are always so fast and efficient, kind, and professional! But will also chat with you and get to know you! Both experiences were amazing and WAY CHEAPER than anyone else that I got quotes yes from. I will only use Titan to move!

Excellent Work
While planning to move from Alexandria to Arlington, I called several different moving companies, and received many estimates. Titan moving was the best price. They came into my apartment for a free estimate. We then set up a date and time to move. Three guys arrived exactly on time. They got right to work, we are very professional and efficient. The move went extremely smoothly. The entire move took less than two hours. When it came time to talk about the bill, it was exactly what was promised with the estimate. Overall an excellent experience! Will definitely use again and recommend to anybody moving in the NOVA area.

Great company to work with. They actually arrived early, were professional, and mindful of Covid requirements. My new place is on the 4th floor and the elevator was not yet working (new building). They did not miss a beat and did not complain about the stairs. Two weeks after I moved, I needed someone to move my old chest into storage. I called Armin, the owner, and he met me at the storage facility and did the job by himself. Thats what I call above and beyond. I have used them twice in the last 14 months. They are definitely my "go-to" movers from now on.

Tiger Moving recently moved us out of storage into our home. Big call out for Eddie, Corey and Brandon! Great group of guys - friendly, gentle on the furniture and made sure that everything was done right. Highly recommend Tiger Moving and we will definitely use them again.

As someone else stated, they will try to take more money than you agreed upon the day before the appointment. I had scheduled almost a month out for 2 men at $250. Day before appointment, the boss calls and says they have to do 3 guys for a minimum of 4 hours for almost $500. Fortunately, he was relatively understanding and agreed to the previous deal. On the day of the move, the two movers arrived looking very disheveled - one wearing only a backwards wife beater. They cursed loudly throughout the entire unload, smoked on our property (which is in a smoke-free community), and were not very gentle with our items. We now have multiple items that are scratched. Only reason I would not give 1 star is that they were out of my hair in less than 40 minutes. Will not be using them in the future.
