Very happy with my move from New York to New Delhi. Deepa and the team were very helpful in answering my questions and ensuring a smooth process. Nothing major damaged in the move - one minor scratch on one item of furniture. Very satisfied. In fact recommended Unirelo to another one of my friends who is also moving to India.

Excellent Work
David and his team did an excellent job. I was stressed and as a result of working full time and living alone, I did not finish preparing for them. The team did a wonderful job to help me pack those things. They even packed my two tall standing plants safely into by taping two boxes together. Success! I had a very few casualties and those were due to my lack of expertise. Even with the delays I caused, the move went swiftly and without incident. Everything arrived well-protected and in perfect condition. I highly recommend Universal. Moving is probably the most exasperating event. David and the guys (and my daughter and son-in-law) helped me survive it.

Moving and trusting someone to make your move can be very scary... This company has been a nightmare! At first when they are trying to get you to agree on a quote, they seem to be very friendly... But, its very far from the truth! They have awful customer service. When you call to speak to the manager, it turns out that the manager is the same rude and unhelpful person that you do not get any help or answers from. I made the mistake to not look at reviews!! Please spare yourself some tears and anger and do not do business with this awfully managed company. You will feel lost the entire time.

I relocated from Washington, DC to Sacramento, CA. United was the only company that guaranteed exactly what day my belongings would arrive, rather than giving me a range of dates. Just as promised, my stuff arrived first thing in the morning on the day they said they it would be there! The time between pick-up at my origin and drop-off at my destination was 12 days -- quite reasonable for a 4,000 mile move. I used their container moving service, where they load your belongings in containers that are then moved on flatbed trailers, rather than your items being loaded and unloaded individually each time they need to transfer between trucks. I received quotes from five different moving companies and Uniteds was right in the middle. The difference was their professionalism and ability to guarantee delivery on a specific date. Everyone I worked with (movers on both ends, office staff, etc.) were communicative and provided high quality service. I would use United again!

We used UMS for our recent move from a 3 level tow home to another 3 level town home approximately 20-30 miles apart. Five guys showed up promptly at the promised time. They did not hesitate to hit the ground running as soon as they parked. Although they used a large truck, we apparently had a LOT of stuff to move! They had to make TWO trips to complete the entire move and did so without hesitation, or any extra charges. None of our furniture was damaged. The crew was professional, reliable, and courteous. It is important to note that most movers charge for 1 hour of lunch: whereas these movers kept going for a total of 7 hours with NO break except the drive from point A to point B. We would highly recommend UMS for your next move.

I used this company a year ago after it was recommended to me by a friend. I moved from MN to WI. The price was much more reasonable than competitors, and I liked that its a family owned company. I paid the exact price they quoted me ($1350 for packing and moving all my stuff, plus tip). There were 3 teens who moved me. That was a little surprising at first because they were so young, but they were all polite, hardworking, and professional. There was one snafu where one of them accidentally locked the keys inside the moving truck... so that part was not so great. We ended up going to Home Depot to get a tool to open the truck. It added time to the move but it was fine. Probably worse for them than for me. If I needed to be out of my apartment by a certain time, it could have added some stress. They apologized and were clearly embarrassed, but mistakes happen. Other than that, the move went smoothly and nothing was damaged. Very nice guys too. I had recommend them to a friend too. Thanks!

BEWARE. Absolutely agree with the other reviewers: this company hires CRIMINALS for your move. They open your boxes and STEAL all your valuables during the travel. Police is currently investigating this fraudulent business to lock all of them up in jail. Additionally, they have many hidden fees and you end up paying more than double of the initial estimate. They are PROFESSIONAL THIEFS. Plus, they arrive many hours late, and they damage/break most of your furniture. NEVER EVER HIRE USA RELOCATION FOR YOUR MOVE.

It was a horrible experience. They broke things. The price was not the best, but it was reasonable. Its a small moving company. They had to pack me. They bickered with each other. They bought one truck it was not enough. The whole experience was very stressful. They bought stuff that we told them not to bring. They left stuff they were asked to bring. I have not called them to tell them all this stuff is ruined. The initial talk he was very nice, and we will take care of you. It just did not turn out that way. I have not called them to say these things are broke what are you going to do. I have not given them a chance to respond.

Ed Mace is amazing! He moved me, and went beyond the call of duty! He was always there with a box and encouragement! I barely raised a finger, and it was effortless. I called upon the company to help seniors move into our senior community, and there is where he really shines He helped families upsize, right size and downsize. They are so professional and caring!! I highly recommend.

I would not recommend at all
They destroyed my property after trying to charge me 450 for a moving job that only took an hour. They also went through my items. I would not recommend at all. Its more professional movers at a better rate then these liars. Also there is no 24 hour surveillance. Scott says the camera loops and you have about three days to make sure your items have not been stolen or broken into. This place is a joke and prices are so high because they do not have business because they are not worth it at all I will never return here. You should not even start

Two Strong Dudes Moving
They provided in city moving services.
They do it by the hour. They actually had a really good coupon on Angies List that I got and we did this as a gift for my daughter and her husband. I think it was a free hour and a half basically was what it was. So that the whole move was about 3 hours long. It was under $500, which was pretty good. 3 people, truck and driving. A two-story house to a two-story house. I will tell ya they were so good. The first time we used them was a few years back when my daughter and her husband were moving into the house they just moved out of and they were trying to do it on their own. They were under a deadline to be out of the old house because they were closing and they ran out of time and it was Sunday night, at like 5 o clock or something. They called me said can you make some phone calls and see if anybody can help us finish unloading the truck tomorrow morning. So I made a few phone calls and the owner of the company actually picked up the phone, was very accommodating and he sent two men for me first thing 8 o clock in the morning, next day. I had never had anybody pick up the phone for me before. And so they were like that. Then when we used them, we were getting rid of a lot of furniture that we wanted to give to Salvation Army so they packed up the truck in such a way so that they could drop it off at the Salvation Army on the way to our new place, stuff we were giving away. Just real nice, real thorough, did a really good job of wrapping everything.

Two Men and a Truck Hollywood-Ft Lauderdale

Terrible service. Paid for 3 men, only 2 worked. They showed up smelling like weed. They initially placed my move to storage 3 months ago (took 6-7hours including breaking down the furniture.) This time, the same load without even putting anything together took 10hrs because only 2 worked and they smelt like a pound of weed, they lost the screws to all of my furniture, broke dishes, broke my glass from my table, and lost the dresser leg. WORST SERVICE EVER!! And still had the nerve to charge me for 10hrs and 3 men. WORST EVER. I wish I would of read YELP first. SMH

i have used these movers before and so has my son and my daughter. They are excellent at what they do and I highly recommend them. I even received a follow up thank you note! Because my closing on my new home did not happen as planned, I had to put my belongings in storage against my better judgement but not to worry, my things were just fine. Thank you

Most moving companies are so difficult to deal with. Tony and his crew are friendly and work so hard to take great care of your things when moving them. They wrap everything so carefully and stack it in the truck safely. We were really impressed and pleasantly surprised.

This Side Up Moving
Excellent experience! Highly recommended.
My previous experience with moving companies was stressful to say the least. As a realtor, I did not even have a company I could recommend to my clients, however on my recent personal move I received a postcard from This Side Up - a relative new comer to the area and decided to give them a try after meeting their area manager Jacob. They turned up promptly, managed to get their vehicle up my driveway (no other company had been able to do this) without causing damage and the crew worked diligently all day with humor and the utmost care. They even reassembled my daughters bed better than the original bed company. A couple of items were left off the truck since I had under estimated the amount of boxes I would have. Rather than cram them on and risk damaging items, they came back the next day at no additional charge. They also disconnected and reconnected my washer and dryer as part of the service. I would definitely use them again and look forward to referring them to my clients.
