Modern Movers is a team of professionals involved in all aspects of full-service moving, packing, storage and warehousing. The President and founding principal began the Company in 1981 as a furniture delivery company known as Home Delivery , which serviced local furniture and interior design firms in the heart of Southwest Florida. In 1996, Alanann, Inc. joined forces with Modern Movers to offer Nation-wide (“inter-state”) moving, storage and delivery services to its array of relocation services for the community. The combination of timing, and the sharing of both companies long-established abilities in the moving industry, prepared the Company for the Real Estate Market explosion that occurred in Southwest Florida in the late 1990’s. By the early 2000’s, Modern Movers offered local, intra, inter – state moving services, full-service packing services, and was in a position to offer secure, climate-controlled storage/warehousing accommodations in its 20,000 SF facility, jointly located at its Corporate Headquarters. Over the years, Modern Movers has mastered the details and complexities involved in moving, delivering and storing its Customers’ household goods and valued possessions. Comment : We had to re-locate in Florida a week ago. It was on such a short notice that I wasnt sure I would be able to find decent movers. A friend of mine had suggested Modern movers earlier and remembering that, I decided to look them up on the internet. These guys have storage and warehousing facilities too! I never knew that. When I told them that it was on a very short notice, I expected that they would charge heavily for it. But I was so glad when I came to know about their prices. It was way too reasonable. They were very prompt in arriving and moving my stuff. I told them the boxes labeled Fragile needed extra care while handling and they followed my direction right till the end. I was glad that I listened to my friend and chose the Modern movers. Great job guys!
